Angriness and Happiness

Author's POV
Dongwook was standing at the bottom of the stairway in the ice-cold dark, originally going to get a cool glass of water like he always did when he couldn't sleep but as he sat up and looked around his room failing to adjust his eyes to the abnormal darkness accompanied by the roaring thunder and lightening from the outside.
The lights must be out. He thought as he decided to go ahead to the kitchen with a small flashlight guiding his way.
But as the actor got halfway down the stairs, the raging storm outside let out a strike of lightening and as he happened to look up from the stair steps, it had illuminated the figure of a girl he knew all too well in front of him. 

It was like déjà vu, giving them them flashback of the first time they had met, right in this exact position, feeling the attraction that the felt back then only more than just that this time around. 
He didn't even have to strain his eyes to see her own. They seemed to a flashlight themselves, big and bright, as they seem to look through and light up his soul. God, she's beautiful... He thought, wanting to grab her and hold in his warm embrace.
"What are doing down here?" Her voice ringed in his mind and woke him from his thoughts as it held a bit of bitterness that he'd never thought he would hear from her.
Then he remembered. She's still upset about the prank that happened last night...
And then he remembered something else. I'm still a bit angry too...

Dongwook's POV (Earlier that Night)
Filming was finally over so I decided to keep my promise to Bom and come home. On the ride home all I could think about was her face and smile. She will probably be so surprised to see me. Hopefully we discuss our unfinished discussion and just maybe...she'll accept my feelings. If she does I'll be the most happiest man in the world...
I soon looked up as I felt the car stop and I sighed in relief. I was finally home. I couldn't wait to see everyone. 
I quickly got out of the car and walked through door with my hands in my pocket. Just as soon as I got in the house, I heard singing. Hmm, I wonder what they're celebrating...
As I slowly walked upstairs and turned my head towards the loud group I met eyes with big bright brown ones and I smiled. Bommie, I'm home...
"1,2,3,4 Congratulations on the last episode!" I heard the sing in unison as I keep my eyes on Bom.
And that's when I heard her scream fill the whole place and I tried not the laugh at her cute expression. 
"What is this?" I heard Seho ask as the all turned towards me and got up in joy.
"Dongwook Oppa is here!" I heard Nana yell and I smiled at everyone and asked "Did you stop purposely for me?" and I hugged my roommate while everyone else clapped and greeted me.
"We called you." Se-ho told me and the sung "congratulations on the surprising entrance, which I laughed at.
"I heard singing as soon as I came in." I said and sat down beside Mama Shin. "What are you guys celebrating?" I asked.
Chanyeol looked towards me and said "the birth of a couple." and gestured his arm towards Bom and Minwwo. 
"What's the birth of a couple?" I looked up curiously and asked before sitting down.
"The birth of a couple!" Soo hyun repeated and pointed towards Bom and Minwoo just as Chanyeol did.
I just smirked. "Yea right. They haven't seen each other enough to officially date. That's complete nonsense." I let out. They're trying to pull one on me just because I came in early... I thought as I took a quick glance at Bom, who all of a sudden seemed nervous.
"How you get here?" Se-ho asked curiously.
"I...just came from Gangwondo." I explained and everyone said "ah."
"You're timing is impeccable." Soo hyun remarked.
"It's perfect." Se-ho added as he sat down beside me.
I looked at everyone curiously and cut to the chase. "Anyway...what are you guys doing now?
Se-ho answered "Were celebrating Kangjoon's last episode."
"Right."
"And were celebrating  Chanyeol's comeback. And you probably don't know, but...Minwoo and Bom are officially dating." Se-ho said
I just laughed in response at the joke. They're joking right?  I thought as I looked around the room and scratched my ear.
"So, we're celebrating their relationship as well." Se-ho continued to explain in a serious tone.
I stopped laughing and looked straight at the supposedly birth of a couple, more at Bom than at Minwoo. " For real?" I asked in surprised tone.
"Yeah, you don't believe it?" Se-ho asked me. 
"Is there a hidden camera?" I said and turned towards the comedian, who seemed to answering all my questions.
"That's what I thought, but it's not. Why, do you think it's a hidden camera whenever I talk?" Se-ho asked with a joking smile, and earned a laugh from everybody.
"I'm really sharp. I can't be fooled." I confess and look back at Bom and Minwoo. "It's for real?" I asked and looked back at Se-ho 
"They're really dating. They both have matching rings." You've got to be kidding me...
"Ah, for real?" I ask again and look down towards Minwoo's hands. 
"They're matching rings." Se-ho tells me and points towards Minwoo's hand.
I get up to see for myself and Minwoo lets me see his hand and I study the ring. You've. Got. To. Be. Kidding. Me! "Oh..." I let out and then turn to look at Bom's hand. 
And sure enough there was a matching ring on hers too.
"Oh..." I say and slowly sit back into my seat as if I was in a daze.
As Se-ho starts adding lyrics to the song they sung while I came in the house, I look down at the floor with a crestfallen expression. I came all this way for you Bom...to see you with another guy?
Soon, the cast starts singing the song and I sing along half-heartedly and as they say "welcome home Dongwook!" I give them a smile before looking back towards the floor in thought.
"Since you guys are partners, go ahead and blow out the candles." Chanyeol says to Bom and Minwoo. As if the matching rings weren't enough...
"The candles are gonna burn out. Hurry." Se-ho says and they abide his orders and blow out the candle.
As everyone claps afterwards, I clap along too but not whole-heartedly. Something's just not right about this... My mind tells me as I lean on my hand and turn to look at Bom. She hasn't looked me in the eye ever since she screamed at my arrival...
I sit up and try to put on a brave face but deep inside I was getting more upset by the minute. 
As everyone started to make small talk, I sorta tuned everyone out as I tried to be okay with the situation at hand. But my mind was taking over. Something just didn't sit right with me about this...If Bom was interested in Minwoo she would have told me on the phone...there's no way that they are together. No way at all. 
"But when did you two meet? You guys didn't have any time to meet up." So-Ra asked them, which got my attention and I looked over at "the couple." That's what I wanna know... 
"Parden? Bom asked then quickly added "Ah....please tell them." She asked Minwoo and bit on her fork in nervousness. What is she so nervous about?  I thought as I looked down before looking back at Minwoo.
"When did you two meet? When did you guys meet?" So-Ra repeated curiously.
"When did we meet? What do you mean?" I heard Minwoo say while I turned towards Se-ho and whispered something to him. Does he really believe this? 
"When did your love start?" So-Ra rearranged the question to make it easier for them. I glanced and Bom, who was still acting unusual and remaining quiet.
I nodded my head at the question and stared at the two, wanting to hear their answer.
"We already heard that earlier. When did you guys meet personally?" I saw her asked and I looked back and them again.
"We met once." Minwoo told us. She met up with him???
Now I was getting curious. "You announce it to the program and date?" I asked.
And that when Bom finally answered. "I heard this reality show is different." 
"You're 2ne1!" I let out in an serious yet surprised tone and stared at her.
"I heard its different somehow." She said and looked right back at me.
Is she really serious?  I thought as I kept looking at her as if we were in a staring contest, which I won because she bursted out with a laugh and turned away while saying "I can't look at Dongwook oppa! I can't talk to him." 
"Talk to me." Se-ho told her as I looked at him and back at her. Now I really don't believe it.  
"Truthfully, it's the truth." She said and turned back towards me and the comedian while flipping her hair to the side and looking as us with her big brown eyes. God, she's cute...nope. I can't dwell on that. I'm upset right now...it's all lies they're telling me. 
"But you two can just put those rings on, act like you're dating and all of us would believe it." I explain to her and look around at everyone else. Are you guys seriously believing this?  If anything it should be me she's dating, not Minwoo.
"Why would we pretend?" She challenged softly.
"Are you two dating for real then?" I challenged her back.
She just gave me a cute weird look but she didn't answer. What? "Why aren't you saying a word?" I asked as I let out a laugh. 
Minwoo stepped in and said "I'm okay with it. But Bom noona had talked quite a bit about that."
"About what?" I asked quickly.
"How to say it." He answered.
"Whether you guys should announce it or not?" I asked and looked over at him. I might look understanding but I'm not believe any word of this. I'm gonna prove it that it's not true.
"I'm fine with it, but Bom..."
"If there's anything were curious about, can we ask you guys?" I ask them, looking straight at Bom.
"Yes." She says while looking at me "Go ahead and ask." Okay then. I'll ask...
"The. Did you two...fall for each other at first sight?" As soon as I asked that my mind took me back to the first night in the house. Even though I met her first, she was a bit nicer to him despite not knowing him well... 
And I don't even believe in love and first sight...
"It wasn't that kind of feeling." Minwoo stated.
I didn't...
"Really, when did it start?"
Until... 
"It was just me, Se-ho and Bom at that time."
I met Bom...
"Ah..."
"But Se-ho was sleeping and while we were talking at that time...we were talking about work and emotional subjects." He told us.
"So it was a connection?" I said, more to myself than to him. And here I thought Bom and I connected too...
"Yes." He said.
"He and I are the same." Bom added. The hell? That's a lie...
Mam shin sung "You guys just fell for each other." and looked at them with a smile.
"Exactly." The singer agreed. As they started talking, I felt my jealousy and anger slowly pilling up.
"So that's how it came to be while we were calling each other." Minwoo explained.
"Ah, while personally calling each other?" Se-ho asked. 
"Yes." Bom answered.
They've called each other?  "Did you two meet each other outside then?" I couldn't help but ask.
"Just once." 
"Oh, really?" I asked and looked at Bom. I nodded my head and murmured. "At a busy time?"
Soo-hyun then asked "what did you guys do?"
Minwoo answered. "We just talked." 
"At a coffee shop?" She asked
"Yes." 
I'm not convinced. "There's an between you two." I stated.
"Yes."
"What are your nicknames for one another?" I asked them.
"What nickname?" She mumbled while looking away from everyone. 
Minwoo went to Bom's rescue and said "I call her Bomna." Bomna? What kinda nickname is that?
"Bomna, because it's strange to call her "Noona?" I said not taking my eyes off of the singer, who looked a bit frustrated. 
I then directed the next question to her. "And you just call Minwoo by his name?"
"Yes." She answered quickly.
"What do you call him?" Se-ho asked. I assume he didn't hear her answer.
She took a second before answering "I just call him by his name."
"Just Minwoo?" He asked.
"Yes." She said while pulling out her phone. 
Chanyeol then told us "they have the same cell phone case too."
Everyone then look at her phone case and awed over them while Se-ho stated "I think we were too detached. They had out the whole time."
"But a little while ago...they also had the same clothes on during dinner." Chanyeol added. 
"Really?"
"Minwoo hyun had the top on and Bom noona had it wrapped around her waist." He explained.
"That's what was wrapped on your waist?" Mama shin said with a smile and Bom nodded.
"How many days has it been?" Soo-hyun asked curiously. 
Minwoo said. "8 days."
"8 days?!?" Bom asked Minwoo with a surprised tone before adding "it's must be 8 days. I don't know those things very well." Which made Soo-hyun laugh. 
As I turned to whisper to Se-ho again I heard Bom comment "You guys are asking too many questions." And I felt her eyes on me.
"Talk about the crab we had." Soo-hyun offered.
The Se-ho turned towars everyone and said "Dongwook hyung is still suspicious about it." which earned a laugh from me and everyone else.
But all of a sudden the both stood up and turned were slowly starting to leave. "Why are you both leaving? Soo-hyun asked.
While Mama shin said "Let them leave now. They probably want to hold hands and be alone." I sat up and watched them walk behind me and as they passed me I turned quickly to the other side and leaned back a little to closely watch them walk down stairs.
"But if it's for real, we should congratulate them." Se-ho said to us.
Nana then spoke for the first time tonight. "She said they didn't feel right in hiding it so they were going to tell everyone as soon as they came in today."
"If that's the case..." I began to say when Soo-hyun let out "Really?"
Nana added "she said trying to hide their relationship was a little embarrassing." 
Is everyone really believing this? It still doesn't make sense at all. While everyone mumble "Mmm..." in thought, I got up and walked over to the border of the stairs and leaned over it to look and see what they were doing while hearing Se-ho ask "where are you going?"
"He has a lot of doubts." Se-ho teased as I turned back and walked over towards my seat. 
"Does it make sense?" How many days had it been for them to date each other?" I said seriously. If it's been 8 days...she would have told me on the phone when I confessed...I would have known about their relationship before anybody... 
"But..." Se-ho started to say before I interrupted him while sitting down. "I would believe it if you and Ga yeon were dating." 
"What's wrong with you?" Ga yeon asked me as we started to laugh. "I've just been sitting here."
Se-ho said  "Look, look." As he pointed at her fist and commented "She is very angry right now." which earned a laugh from everyone.
"Then you didn't notice anything weird when you were with them?" I asked the comedian.
"I didn't notice anything at all. That day, I was the..." I suddenly put my hand over Se-ho's mouth as I saw Minwoo walk back up the stairs and took it off quickly. Then I noticed the hats in his hand. "What is that? What's with the hat now?" I asked curiously. 
Minwoo made his way over to his seat while announcing "I wanted to give this to Bom noona in front of everyone."
I sighed loudly with a laugh and turned away, falling to the floor to let out my frustration and to collect my thoughts while my roommate stood and laughed a bit too. Is he really about to do this? As if the rings, phone cases and shirts weren't enough! 
"This is sold at a compilation store." He said as if he need to defend himself to Se-ho and I.
"I know that." The comedian said to him.
Then as I stood up and walked over to my seat while Soo-hyun also stood up and pointed at the piece of bread that Bom was eating. "Minwoo bought this pastry especially for Bom.
"Ah, really?" Bom asked her.
"It's a croissant." The actress told us and sat back down.
"Thank you." Bom told Minwoo and most of the group clapped as Bom tried the hat on while I sat down.
"The hat looks good on you. You look pretty." The actress complimented her, which I agreed with in my mind. She always pretty..but I'll still couldn't imagine them being in a relationship. And why'd he have to give her that in front of us? This is the most corniest mess I've ever seen. 
"What is that? Why is he giving her that hat out of nowhere?" I couldn't help but let out.
Minwoo looked over at me and said "we talked quite a bit."
"About what?"
"How we should..." He started to say before someone said "how come you guys only where hats?"
Minwoo stated "This isn't important. It's just a present I wanted to give her. What we're going to say today is important."
I leaned back and looked at the skeptically while Se-ho said "I'm very suspicious right now. Let's get that out of the way first. I have nothing that connects us together, right?"
"At that time we stopped our conversation when you came and I went home." Minwoo told him.
"The atmosphere was nice, but Se-ho got in the way? He stopped the conversation?" I asked curiously.
Minwoo said "we were already talking for about 30-40 minutes." 
"Where?" Se-ho asked.
"In my room." Bom answered.
"Really?"
"Yes, I was sleeping." She said.
Nana then added "why do you always get in the way?" 
Se-ho looked at the couple and said "I'm sorry. The reason I did that.."
Minwoo interrupted before Se-ho could finish "Our conversation was almost finished.
"Afterward, it did feel like Minwoo wanted me to return to my room but...but you don't know. You don't know what might happen between a man and a woman. At that time, you and I talked about all sorts of things because we couldn't fall asleep."
"Right." Bom agreed.
"We talked until morning after we announced it in the group chatting room...after we did that all of a sudden...I wonder if it was too abrupt. So that's why we quickly left the room. So..." Minwoo said.
But then Bom suddenly yelled out "This is my favorite pastry!" 
Everyone was quiet and staring at between the both of them, including me. 
That's when Minwoo finally yelled "Up until now, this has all been a lie!"
I just stared at them with a poker face silently before saying "What is this?"
Minwoo answered. "It was a lie." 
Keep calm Dongwook...  I repeated in my mind. "You guys dating was a lie?"
"Yes." He said.
"If it was a lie..." I started to say as I tried to lean over but I ended up almost falling over. "What's wrong with you?" Said Mama shin grabbed my arm and made sure I was steady while I heard Bom and Chanyeol laugh. Maybe I got to ahead of myself...  
Then he got up and playfully put Minwoo in a head lock while saying "Its one thing if it's someone else, but you dare to fool the oldest here?"
"What is this?" Se-ho repeated my question.
"Hold on. You're saying it's really a joke?" I asked them seriously. 
"Yes." Said Minwoo as Mama Shin let him go.
Then Se-ho said "Even if it's not the case, just date each other."
"Just date each other...or how about a dating contract?" I offered and looked at Bom to see what she'd say.
"Yeah." My roommate agreed.
"Just while you're staying at this house." I added. Let's see what she's says...if she agrees I'll let her go... 
"What about you?" She asks me with a smile and laugh.
I let out a laugh and smile at her. "You and I?"
"I was joking." She quickly said but I kept looking at her.
Then Soo-hyun said "You guys started this charade to fool us, but did any feelings arose between you two?"
"Are they dating?" Mama Shin asked.
"Right, right!" I agreed and looked at the both of them. Before I get her alone and ask her...I gotta know this... 
"That's..." Minwoo started but didn't finish. Then he tried again "I'm..."
Soo-hyun looked at them with wide eyes and exclaimed "Answer!"
Bom said "don't ask me, ask him." and pointed at Minwoo and looked down at her nails.
"Please give us an answer." The actress begged.
"What kind of situation is this?" I commented and looked between the both of them before a light bulb went on in my head. No way.. 
"You two are really dating each other aren't you?" I said and pointed at the both of them. That's why you're acting like this so you could hide it, right?"
Minwoo just looked at Bom, who looked like she was feeling pressured. Then she suddenly looked up and bursted "To tell you the truth, I like Dongwook Oppa!!!"
I slowly looked up at her with an surprised expression before saying "what are you doing?" Is she finally telling me this after all the emotions she's put me thought?
 "Hey! Where do you get off trying to dip your spoon?" I yell while failing to resist a smile that was on my face while standing up and looking at her, who yells her confession to me yet again, earning a laugh from everybody.
"How dare you!" I tell her and watch her stand up.
"It's the truth!" She yells back at me and throws the cap down, which I won't admit to anyone that I felt good when she did that.
"Hey you said you liked Lee Dong Kook? And you called me a post instead of lettuce last time." Se-ho added which I playfully hit him for and I turned back to her. "How dare you try to come to me now!" I say before we both sit down in our seats. I just kept looking at her with a smile.
Then Se-ho asks "by any chance, is there anyone who likes me?" which both Nana and Chanyeol raise their hand. He points at Nana and says "I keep wavering when you show this kind of side of you." and she smirks at him.
Afterwards I talked to Se-ho and decided to get back at Bom another prank. I wanted to get back at her for making me angry. Then afterwards I would try to talk to her about what our relationship is now. Now that we both knew how the other felt, we need to take it a step further.
Everyone knew about the prank except for Bom and Nana. Se-ho pretend he was drunk and was acting disrespectful and mean while I was trying to get him to act right and we would start arguing. 
They absolutely fell for it. When I finally laughed while trying to ask Se-ho while he called Mama shin a loser, everyone laughed and the prank was officially over. Bom and Nana cried  and I tried to apologize to the unique singer she ignore me and stared hard at the ground. 
Looks like I'm in big trouble...

(Present)
I just stared at her before answering "I just came down to get a glass of water...how can you see when it's pitch dark?" I asked her.
"I had a flashlight but it just went dead. Why are you asking?
I shrugged. "Just curious." I said and I walked passed her and when into the kitchen, noticing that she was following me. I grabbed two glasses and filled some water inside both of them and I turned and gave one to her.
"I can get my glass of water, ya' know." She said while I took a sip of mine. I watched her a sip of hers and said "I know what you can do... and pulling pranks isn't one of them." 
She almost spit it out when she heard me and looked at me with a frown. "What did you say?" She demanded and slammed her glass and turn fully towards me.
"I said..." I started to say as mimicked her actions and walked over towards her. "Pulling pranks isn't something you're good at. It was horrible. You guys didn't even act like a couple."
"My prank was horrible? Yours was the worst! How dare you trick me and Nana like that? I scolded Se-ho for nothing. I was trying to calm you down yet you were the one I should scolded! I don't even understand why you guys did it." She said angrily at me.
"I did it to get back at you. That way you'd feel how angry I was." I explained to her in a calmer tone.
"Why did my prank make you so angry? Were you jealous or something?!"  She asked while staring at my face. 
I said "Yes I was jealous. I was upset. I was angry. I felt like I had rushed  here for nothing. But I knew..." I took a deep breath and looked into her eyes. "I knew you wouldn't do that to me. I didn't doubt you for a second...."
"But you were still mad when I confessed to you in front of everybody and that wasn't even the half of it. I've been missing you like crazy for the pass few days and that it took for me to realize that I've fallen for you Lee DongWook. Okay? I've fallen for you! Are you happy now?" She yelled at me before looking down on the floor, cheeks as red as cherries. She's even cute when she's angry... I thought before noticing her bed attire. 
She still had that black shirt on with the smiley face on it and small shorts. Her hair was pulled up in an cute messy bun. That's when I noticed her shivering. "Are you cold?"
"Im fine!" she said quickly, never taking her eyes off the floor. 
But as soon as I heard the the storm let a roaring thunder that seemed to hit the ground hard, Bom got so startled that she jumped and wrapped her arms around me.
I smiled to myself as I wrapped my arms around her. "So thats why you stayed by the stairs..." I teased.
"Shut up." She mumbled yet she hugged me tighter.
I just laughed silently and laid my cheek on top of her head. "Bom...I might have seemed mad then but deep inside I was happy. Why would I just be mad at the girl I've liked ever since I laid eyes on her?" I explained softly.
"Well it sure did seem like it..." She said softly and nuzzled her nose in the crook of my neck. 
"Well it wasn't...and I'm sorry for my prank. I didn't know you were gonna be upset about and I apologize. Am I forgiven?" I ask and leaned back to look at her face. My eyes widen when I saw tears streaming down her face. "Whats wrong?" I asked worriedly.
"I just...I was worried that you wouldn't like me anymore after the prank and I've just missed you so much. And I'm scared of thunder." She confessed, which earned a laugh from me when I heard the last part.
I use my thumb to wipe her tears away and I smile at her. "Bom, I never stopped liking you and I never will. You don't ever have to worry about that. In fact I realized tonight...that I'm in love with you." I confessed.
"You're in love with me?" She said with wide eyes. 
"Yes....it was love at first sight for me." I said quietly and leaned down to kiss her...

Author's POV
The next morning, during breakfast, everyone was chatting happily when Soo-hyun happened to look at Dongwook and frowned. "Dongwook."
"Yes." He said and looked over at her.
"What happened to your lip? It's looks swollen." She asked and he felt his lip before smiling to himself. "Uh, I guess I had bit my lip through the night while I was sleeping. That storm was really scary. He lied smoothly and looked at Bom, who was blushing a bit while eating her food.

Dongwook and Bom didn't tell a soul what happened last night. They decided to keep it a secret for a bit longer before they would tell everyone the news. After what happened last night, I'm sure they wouldn't find it hard to believe that the two were dating.

Little did both of them know that the cameras were on that night and recorded the whole thing and knew who the real culprit that bit his lip.They would have a lot explaining to do when this episode gets out.
