Countdown
Description
“Three. Two. One! Ready or not, here I come!”
One way or another, people play the childish game of counting down. Everyday. School. Office. The market. The hospital. The playground. Everywhere, at any time. We are just ignorant of this fact.
“Your son’s only got a year to live. I’m sorry.”
Living. Dying. Laughing. Crying. How fast a bird flies. How slow a turtle walks. How long a television show airs. How much time there is left to live? How sudden one person can die. Conclusive and determinative.
“I’m excited for your birthday party, girl. Make sure to invite hot guys, okay? Bye!”
Countdowns can be very depressing at times. But, when we come to know how to use it right, it bring us hope. It teaches us to believe. To grasp for tomorrow. To expect. To look forward for the future.
“Daddy’s going to work now. I’ll come home early, so wait for me. Okay? See you later, baby. I love you!”
Count the time when you want to hope. When you want to expect. When you want to believe. When you are ready to wait. And, if you are ready when you reach the ‘zero’ of your countdown
