"How long...have you been alive for?" asked Chanyeol.

"For 485 years this year," answered Baekhyun. Out of nowhere, someone grabbed Baekhyun by the neck and pushed him to the wall, "Oh hey Jongin. Nice of you to drop in," said Baekhyun. He kicked Jongin off of him and was slightly out of breath.

"Yeah, I know. So, who is this human?" asked Jongin.

"Hi hyung," said another.

"Sehun, you're here too?" asked Baekhyun.

"I was bored so I just tagged along," said Sehun.

"So?" asked Jongin.

"Oh, he's just a very special human. He's able to see through my glamour," said Baekhyun.

"But hyung, your glamour is so strong," said Sehun.

"I know," agreed Baekhyun, "That's why he is special."

"Is that the only reason?" Jongin asked mischievously. Baekhyun was about to let out a punch but Jongin dodged it quickly, "Anyway, have fun hyung." The two of them disappeared and left Chanyeol absolutely confused.

"Who were they?" asked Chanyeol.

"Just some younger vampires I know. They greet me like that every time, so don't worry," said Baekhyun. "You live by yourself, don't you?"

"Yeah, Baekhyun-hyung, you're hurt," gestured Chanyeol.

"Huh?" said Baekhyun. Chanyeol went over to Baekhyun and held his arm. Out of reflex, Baekhyun slapped Chanyeol. The latter moved back from the hit, "Chanyeol, I'm sorry." 

"It's okay," said Chanyeol.

Baekhyun suddenly smelled blood. He hadn't realised his nails had skimmed over Chanyeol's face. He took several steps back, "Chanyeol. Listen to me, and get out of here as fast as you can."

"Hyung?" asked Chanyeol.

Baekhyun's eyes turned red and he felt his fangs extending. He couldn't hold back. He pushed Chanyeol onto the couch and leaned over him. He bit into Chanyeol's neck and began drinking his blood.

"Hyung...Baek...hyun...hyung...it...hurts, please...stop," breathed Chanyeol.

Baekhyun heard this and did his best to pull away. When he did, he stepped back. He saw Chanyeol, lying there. He was asleep from the sudden loss of blood. Baekhyun went and cleaned his face and changed his shirt. He got a damp towel and cleaned Chanyeol's neck and put a large bandage on. He knew there would be a bruise there later.

He sat down across from Chanyeol and just stared at him. He was worried. What was Chanyeol going to do once he woke up? Was he going to go running? Was he going to scream when he saw Baekhyun? Baekhyun actually didn't realise that Chanyeol had woken up and was staring right back at him.

"Chanyeol, I'm sorry about that. I understand if you want to leave," said Baekhyun. He got up and headed towards what looked like a bedroom. But then he felt two warm arms wrap themselves around him.

"Hyung, I think you must be overthinking things, but you know the real reason why I came back to see you right?" asked Chanyeol.

"What?"

"Because I like you, hyung," whispered Chanyeol.

"W-what?" he stuttered. He pushed Chanyeol away and moved back. "I don't age Chanyeol. You do. It just won't work alright? As much as you do like me, I-I can't accept it. You know it won't work, don't you?" asked Baekhyun.

"Yes, but that can't stop me from liking you hyung."

"But Chanyeol, I'll just end up hurting you again. Look at what I did today. I hurt you twice. I can't let myself hurt you again. The fact that you even know that vampires exist is a risk as well. If any of the others find out, they'll try to kill you Chanyeol..." Baekhyun continued to rant on and on about the negative things that could happen.

Chanyeol was frustrated that his feelings weren't getting through to Baekhyun. So he quickly grabbed Baekhyun by the back of his neck and pulled him in for a kiss - which immediately made Baekhyun shut up. "Hyung," he said as he pulled away, "if you can't accept me liking you, then you'll have to accept me loving you. This time I won't accept no for an answer." Chanyeol let go and skipped out of the suite cheekily, leaving Baekhyun frozen.

"Hey, Baekhyun-hyung. Hello? Earth to Baekhyun-hyung?"

"Huh? Oh hi, Jongdae. How are you?" he asked.

"Um, why are you talking like a robot?" asked Jongdae.

"What? Oh, sorry about that."

"What was that you said earlier? That if we found out about your little human we would kill him?" asked Jongdae.

"When did I say that?" retorted Baekhyun.

"Well, they're coming. They are probably wondering why your emotions suddenly skyrocketed into the love zone," giggled Jongdae.

"That's just great, just when the smell of a human is still fresh in the air."

Soon after that, 6 others arrived in Baekhyun's apartment. "That is a pretty darn good smell in here," one of them said.

"Quit it, Yixing-hyung," said Baekhyun. They sat down and all stared at Baekhyun. "Would you guys please stop staring!"
