RealisationsJongin was somewhere else this evening and Sehun had nothing better to do than to wander around the city. He was used to Jongin disappearing randomly by now and Sehun thought it would be like any other evening Jongin disappeared. But this one was fated to be different. Sehun liked to walk around all night and then somehow end up back at home at some point. He took a different route each time but nothing interesting ever showed up.
In the calm of the night, Sehun suddenly heard a very fast heart beating. He could smell sweat, tears and even blood. He skimmed the area and turned to where the smell was coming from. He could now hear about 4 pairs of footsteps. He peeped out of the alley and saw a guy running for his life. He saw 3 other guys chasing him. He was bored so he wanted to have some fun. He stepped out onto the street and they all stopped running.
"Hey, you three back there," he said.
"What ya want kid?" asked one of them.
"Oh, I'm really bored this evening and I just wanted to have some fun." He ran towards them and they tried attacking but they failed. Instead they all just got kicked to the ground by Sehun who had kept his hands in his pockets the whole time. After he had dealt with them, he dragged all of them into the alley way he had just come out from and left them there.
The other guy who had been running away from them, began to back away, "Please d-don't hurt me."
"Why would I want to hurt someone who is already hurt?" asked Sehun. He moved closer to the guy and grabbed his left arm. He began to pull him along and they walked to Sehun's house. He unlocked the door and switched on the lights as they got inside. He got the guy to sit down on a chair and he went to get a first aid kit. Although he was a vampire, he still kept a first aid kit for some odd reason. "Your right arm is hurt right? I saw you when you were running. Your arm looked a bit stiff. And you've hurt your legs as well, right?" asked Sehun.
"Uh, y-yes," answered the guy.
"Take off your jacket," demanded Sehun. As the human took off his jacket, Sehun rolled up his pants. His knees had burn marks on them, most likely from skidding across the floor. His arm was scratched which was probably from running passed trees or fences. Sehun silently cleaned the human's arm and bandaged it. He applied some cream on the burns, which the human winced because of the pain. Sehun bandaged his legs as well and rolled the pants back down. He threw out all the dirty gauzes and wipes into the bin and put the kit away.
"Thank you v-very much," he said.
"Don't mention it. I'll take you home if you'd like. It's pretty late and you wouldn't want anything to happen again right?" asked Sehun.
"Thank you, but it's alright. I don't live very far from here. Actually I live only a few blocks away," he said.
"Great, then I'll take you home. Since it's only that far," said Sehun. He already got his shoes back on and opened the door. The guy followed, slightly taken aback by Sehun's actions. As they began to walk, Sehun noticed that the human was having a bit of trouble walking. So he stopped and gestured for the other to stop as well. He carefully lifted the human onto his back and decided that he would give him a piggy-back ride the rest of the way.
"I c-can walk o-on my own," he protested.
"I know you can, but I'm not letting you."
The guy had nothing to say back but, "It's that one over there," he pointed. Sehun walked up quietly to the house and got the guy off at the door. "Uh, thanks. What's your name?" he asked.
"Oh Sehun."
"Luhan," he said.
"What a pretty name. I don't think I'll forget it very easily. See you around Luhan," said Sehun. He walked back home quietly, not making much sound.
Luhan on the other hand couldn't help but remember how cold Sehun's hands were. Even when he was helping Luhan to cover up the injuries, his hands were so cold. On the way back, Sehun's neck was cold as well. He seemed to be so kind-hearted. Luhan actually felt sad when he realised that he wouldn't be able to see Sehun again, unless he was lucky. Which of course, he was, but not in a anyway that he had imagined.
