After Baekhyun and Chanyeol came back, the group continued to talk some more. Slowly, each couple went back home, and left Baekhyun and Chanyeol to rest. As Sehun and Luhan were walking back home - well, to Luhan's house - the latter seemed to still be in shock for some reason. "Luhan, are you okay? You still seem tense," asked Sehun.

"Huh? Oh yeah, it's just that Chanyeol seemed so calm about his change. The others were so indifferent about it too. I was impressed by how Kyungsoo was so calm though," answered Luhan.

"Yeah, Kyungsoo said that Jongin had this weird calming affect on him. Which really is ironic considering how reckless Jongin is. But you're alright now, right? Just getting over the shock of it all?" asked Sehun.

"Uh-huh, I should be fine after a good night's rest, so you don't have to worry too much," said Luhan.

They reached Luhan's place and Sehun walked him to the door. He kissed Luhan on the hand and said, "Good night Luhan, just say my name if you need me." He walked away once Luhan was defnitely inside and went home to rest as well. Before that however, he had to go out and feed. Which he did, but then he heard a bang in the distance and heard screams. People were running wildly from the direction where his house was. He ran to Luhan's house and checked inside. There was no one there.

"Sehun," said Baekhyun. "We got Luhan out, don't worry. You should thank Chanyeol. He managed to get Luhan out before the accident happened."

They went over to where Chanyeol and Luhan were. Chanyeol was calming Luhan down. Sehun ran over and took over from Chanyeol. "Thanks Chanyeol, but what was that?"

"The house next door burst into flames," said Chanyeol. "Luhan-hyung, are you alright?" He reached out but then was slapped away by Luhan. The latter seemed to be afraid and still in shock. Of course, Chanyeol took his hand back, not wanting to cause any trouble. "Sorry hyung, I forgot about that," said Chanyeol.

"Forgot about what?" asked Sehun asked as he stood up.

"It seems that the person who decided to blow up that house, was a guy with many problems. He actually entered Luhan-hyung's house and...tried to attack Luhan-hyung. I killed him before I got Luhan-hyung out of there," answered Chanyeol.

Sehun got up and pushed Chanyeol up against an electricity beam, "How the hell did he get attacked so that he doesn't even want to be touched?" he asked with clamped teeth.

"H-he tried to...molest- "

"That's enough," interrupted Luhan. "Sehun, let go of him, he didn't do anything wrong. You know that."

Sehun let go of Chanyeol and moved to Luhan's side. "Luhan, you can stay at my place for now," said Sehun.

"Call us if you need anything," offered Baekhyun. He and Chanyeol went back home.

"Sehun, there was no need to do that," said Luhan as they walked over to Sehun's place.

Sehun was walking in front of Luhan. He stopped and turned around, "I should've sensed something. There must have been something that I missed. Luhan, if I didn't leave you alone and I went inside with you, I could've protected you from that e! But no, he got to you and you had to be saved by Chanyeol instead! Why didn't you say anything? Why didn't you call my name?" ranted Sehun.

"Because, the guy had a gun. He threatened me with it, so I couldn't call for help. Chanyeol got hurt, but was obviously fine because he's a vampire. Sehun, I think you're just jealous that Chanyeol saved me instead of you."

"Jealous? Yeah, I admit that I'm jealous. But Luhan, you still could've- "

"What? What could I have done Sehun? Should I have just called for you and risk both our lives?" asked Luhan. Sehun had nothing to say to that. Luhan was protecting him? Why would he do that and risk himself for a vampire who could heal? That's right. Luhan did it because he loved Sehun. "I need to cool off, so don't follow me, Sehun. If I come across another e like that one, I might just call you and get killed," Luhan walked off into the distance, leaving a speechless Sehun.

Sehun reached his house and sat down on the front stairs, "I'm such an idiot, aren't I?"

Luhan was walking towards the city. He had to get his head cleared. So he went into a pub and took a seat at the bar. "One glass of Everclear please," ordered Luhan.
