Sometime in the past when there was still Heechul, Shindong and Donghae. Donghae isn't like his older brothers and often get's teased which led him to think if he is really adopted. The last part of the series

Donghae is a very good kid, he says ‘please’ and ‘thank you’, he thinks of others before himself, he’s the honest, charming, little angel in their family, which makes most people think whether or not he and Heechul and Shindong are brothers.

Heechul is an infamous troublemaker, prankster, player, etc. Shindong, on the other hand, is a gluttonous, indolent procrastinator. Two pain in the asses for their umma and appa so when Donghae came and was showed to the world, well, the neighborhood people would always stop and ask Teukie, “You’re son? Why, he isn’t like the other bad seeds.” which leads to an angry, annoyed Heechul-hyung.

Teukie was busy preparing dinner, chopping carrots, potatoes and other ingredients for dinner. She heard the door open and shut and knew her youngest just came home from Kindergarten. “Donghae is that you?” Teukie-umma asked from the kitchen. She heard a muffled voice, as if crying and the shuffling of socked-feet. “Hae, what’s wrong?” she asked worriedly when the site of her baby crying visualized from the kitchen’s door.

“Umma, am I adopted?” Donghae asked looking at Teukie with red puffy eyes.

“Who said? Where did you learn that word?”

“My classmates said so at school. Am I adopted, umma?”

“Of course not, what makes you say that?” Teukie umma was doing some finishing touches to the snacks she had just prepared.

“Because I’m different from Heechul-hyung and Shindong-hyung, my classmates said I’m puny and girly unlike my hyungs. People said that I act differently from Heechul-hyung and Shindong-hyung…” Donghae began to cry again. “Heechul-hyung agreed to them, even you and appa said I’m different! Am I really adopted… umma…”

Teukie umma dropped to embrace her baby and wiped away his tears with her apron. “Of course you’re not adopted. You’re my little Donghae, my little angel. Do you want to be like your hyungs? Troublemakers?” she asked and Donghae shook his little head. Teukie smiled with a slight tilt of her head to the left. “And I’m also happy that you’re not like them in terms of attitude. So let’s not talk about silly things, ‘kay and don’t believe everything your Heechul-hyung says.”

Donghae toughened up and nodded. Teukie umma offered the plate of chocolate chip cookies from which Donghae happily ate from. “Teukie umma…” Donghae called. Teukie bowed, and faced Donghae in the same level. “Yes?” Donghae chewed the rest of the cookie and swallowed hard.

“Saranghaeyo!” Donghae cooed, hugged his Teukie umma and pecked her cheek quickly.
