The CEO himself unveils the concept when StarNews settled an interview with Sm Entertainment. He said that these girls will rule, invade and dominate the whole Kpop world and even International with their Strength, Passion and Love and show their special talents. They trained the girls for years and the girls tried and did their best to be what they are now.

"Ribbon" as we know is an accesory for girls to make them look cuter or prettier. "Ribbon" symbolizes the girls' beautiful, pretty and cute faces. "Angels" describes that the girls are very angelic and it also means Peace of the girls. Despite their girly name and appearance, The Sm entertainment CEO said that these girls are very Cool, Swaggers and sometimes Boyish to their limit. The CEO even said that the girls can do what boys can do. The CEO also reveals that the girls has two official colors, Baby Blue and Antique White. It defines the two sides and attitudes of the girls.
