00| The 1^st Meet

It was a night that I would never forget.

Maybe it was fated, the way I met her. Usually, people have the sweetest story to tell about their first meeting; of how the guy saved the girl's life, or how the girl is going to die of cancer or how the guy bullies the girl to no ends because he's rich and she's poor, just to name a few. But ours, the story of how I met her, was rather unique. It was so unique that when I later told the story to my best friend, TaeYang, he snorted through his drink.

“Are you even serious?!! You don’t even know her!!” he shrieked.

“But Gaho does,” I said, “I believe in his taste.”

“GODDDD!!!!” he wailed like a wolf.

Then, he went berserk.

“JiYong, are you insane?!! Dude, have you lost your mind?!!”

This was after I told him that she could be my soulmate, the one whom I hope to marry. 

Afterwards, TaeYang began his non-stop attack of scolding/nagging. I feel like I was a 10 year old again.

“JiYong, I think it’s the lack of sleep that makes you like this.”

*Nod*

“You’re going to forget all about it when you wake up tomorrow.”

*Nod*

“You’re an adult. This isn’t some puppy love sh1t.”

*Nod*Nod*

“F.ck this, we’re going home.”

And so, we went home. But all the way back, I couldn’t stop thinking about her. The way her soft hair falls off her shoulder when she tilted her head, the way her smile lit up her entire face, the way her eyes glitter when she looked at her dog. She’s like a ray of sunshine in a dark place; a newborn angel.

Well, at least, that’s how she seems to me.

So, you‘re dying to know the story how we met right?

Because I’m GDragon, I’m gonna tell you.

Yes, I’m a bad boy but I’m nice.

See the clever way I inserted the lyrics to Tonight there? Aren’t I smart? No wonder people call me a genius. Ha ha ha.

Okay, enough of self praise.

Let me get back to the story of how we met.

It was a fine night.

The moon was shining brightly and the stars could be seen in the skyline, which itself was quite a rare occasion for Seoul. I had never seen a moon so bright like that night. I think it was a God given sign of something great that is going to happen. I even remember telling my adorable wrinkled ‘child’, Gaho, about the moon.

“Gaho, Daddy thinks something great is going to happen tonight,” I had said to Gaho, to which he just barked softly to me. Unlike TaeYang, Gaho was very understanding. He never judges me regarding the matters of the heart.

True, Gaho is a dog.

True, Gaho can’t talk.

True, Gaho can’t actually judge.

But I can see it from his eyes. He understands his Daddy, especially after I’ve scratched him behind the ear.

Okay, enough about Gaho. Don’t you go fangirling on my child. He’s still an underage. Just keep your fangirling to me.

Moving on.

So I brought Gaho to the vet for his usual monthly check up. Gaho is delicate so I insisted on the monthly check up. Even though the vet had kindly suggested to me for a three-monthly check up, I told the vet, “Hey, he’s G-Dragon’s child. He deserves the best” and so without fail, I brought him every month to the same clinic, although he is perfectly fine.

What can I say? I’m just a doting father.

Then, that night, I met her. It was fated, I tell you, the way we met.

Actually, Gaho played a big part in our story. Usually, he doesn’t like to make friends, but that night, as soon as we arrived at the clinic, he had set his eyes on a certain female dog. He made a beeline towards the female dog without even waiting for me, that son of a dog!

I practically had to run after him. Then, I saw him just sitting there, staring in awe at his love interest, a Chihuahua in the cutest black and pink dog dress or whatever you call it.  Then, when I looked up at its owner, she smiled at me; her smile warm like sunshine.  That was when my heart started beating in a weird rhythm and I felt like I was on cloud nine. Just like Gaho, I stood there, just staring in awe at the gorgeous female in front of me. The world had ceased to exist.

So imagine us two, father and dog, just standing there, staring at the love of our lives, with our mouth slightly hung open.

Everything happened so fast. When I regained my sanity a few minutes later, I went to her and asked for her name and phone number because maybe “Our children want to date each other”.

Smooth, huh?

Gaho, daddy has never been so thankful of your existence. You might bring yourself a mommy.

Anyways, her name is Lee ChaeRin and this is the story of how I’m gonna make her mine using my G-Dragon’s charm.

Who knows, maybe you’ll fall for me too.

But sorry, my heart belongs to that only one person.

A/N: Hey guys, maybe some of you know me, maybe some of you don’t. Keke. This is just a short, cute story that I want to share about GD. Actually, this is one of my earliest works which I wrote for my best friend’s birthday (she claims GD is hers and I was broke last year, so this is the only present I could afford).
