“Okay I will. Can we eat now? I’m really hungry. Do you want to kill me?”

I laughed. He’s really hungry.

“Are you telling me that you’re about to treat me lunch?”

“Okay, deal. “

He pulled my hand. He’s pulling me again. We’re holding each other’s hands. I’m not really holding his, but the fact that he holds mine makes it also the same. When we’re about to go out of the library he let go of it. He placed his hands inside his pocket. It confused me. Is he reluctant that we’re together? Or is he afraid that it could be his embarrassment that we’re together? Well I could care less. All I want today is food. I’m also hungry.

Every direction that he takes, I’m always following.  As I follow him, I saw people’s ugly stares on us. It’s not like we’re dating. What’s with them?? Not until I heard something.

“Is he dating Kibum? O my god, no way, Kibum is mine!” 

“Oh, is she the girl? “

“Who? Oh Yes, I guess she is Sophie. Kibum and Sophie are together again.”

“Yeah, right, she’s pretty, she’s Sophie. O my gosh, I like her.”

Kibum isn’t really popular in this school huh. Who the heck is that Sophie? I’m Gyuri not Sophie. Almost all students notice us and all of them are whispering. As if I’m stalking their prince, I’m not dating him. Kibum looks so cool. He didn’t even mind those whispers around us. He kept on walking.

We reached the garage. He does have a car??? I guess he is rich. We went on a gray car,  I think this one is a Mercedes benx. Finally, he looks back at me before entering the car.

“Where do you want to eat? “

He said  while playing with his keys.

“Anywhere. “  I said bluntly.

I saw him furrowed. It’s really irritating you know. Inside the library, he kept on holding me. He even let me sleep on his lap. After going out of the library, he stopped everything. And it is like he’s all alone. He’s walking by himself. He didn’t even try to look at me. Now, here in this garage where no people could see us talking, he’ll start to look at me again and talk to me sweetly. What’s wrong with him?

“Let’s go then.”

I’m waiting for him to open the door for me but he didn’t. He went inside the car and left me.  I went inside the car by myself. Didn’t he know how to be gentleman?

He’s busy driving. I could see no emotion coming from his face. I can see the coldness which I didn’t even noticed when we’re inside the library. He’s completely different now. Is this the real Kibum? It’s like things aren’t right. I know there’s something wrong. I can’t just do anything since I really don’t know what other people know about him. Maybe I should do some research later.

After 15 minutes he broke the silence between us.

“Gyuri, sorry for doing a lot of trouble today. “

He spoke with no emotion. What happened Kibum? Have I done something wrong?

“It’s okay. “

He didn’t speak to me again after that. I saw a huge restaurant. No, it is a restau club.

“This is my friend’s business. This is one of the most popular club here in Seoul.”

I’ve heard about this place before. Hyeri, she always mentions it to me.  Nevada Club, nice name.

“Let’s go”

Kibum went out the car. I went out by myself too. I know he’ll not gonna open it for me again.

“Kibum, why do we have to go here? We could have just gone to other simple places you know. We’ll just have to eat lunch, right?”

He laughed. I smiled because of that. I didn’t expect him to laugh but it feels good. I thought he’ll never gonna smile again. But it increased my confusion. He’s being sweet again.

“Yes, but I have a special favor Gyuri. Can we go now inside? Let’s just talk about it later. Let’s go?”

He held out his hand while smiling. I ignored his hand, I walk past him.

“You didn’t even opened the door for me twice. I’m not going to cling unto that. ”

I laughed while walking. I heard him laughed too. He ran after me. He held my left hand tightly. I’m surprised to see him smile. I let him held on my hand.

“Yah, mianhe. I forgot to do those things. I’m a bit frustrated a while ago. “

He held my hand tighter as he scratch the back of his head.

“Pabo.”

We both laughed together.

He never let go of my hand and I really wonder why.  As we go towards the bar counter, his clasp on my fingers increases. I see him smile while walking. I smiled too.

“Hey Yoseob, is there any vacant private cosmos inside? “

“Oh yes there is. Kibum, what’s up? Long time no see. “

They do some punch thing on each other’s hands. Boys these days.

“What cosmo number is available? “ Kibum looked at me.

“Check us in.”

“Wae?? Is she Sophie? Hyung, arimdawa!”

He looks so surprised. Again, another Sophie thing. I can’t get it anymore. I let go of his hand. I guess each time people call me Sophie I’m starting to get irritated.

“Aniyo. She is Gyuri. My classmate. What’s the number?“

“Mianhae Gyuri.” He bowed.

“ Ah, cosmo number 16.”

“Kamsamnida, serve my favorite dish . Palli Yoseob. “

“AH, NEH!”

The guy rushed inside. Kibum looked at me. I look away. I saw a his face turn away from me. He’s being insensitive again. He didn’t even let me choose my own food and didn’t even call me. He went away from me and I was left again staring at his back as he go far from the bar counter. I followed him. I don’t know why it affect me so much. I know, there’s something wrong. He is acting weird again. Way to far from what kind of Kibum I’m with a while ago. What’s with Sophie? Who is she? So many questions lingers my mind. But I don’t have this so called courage to ask him. I can’t even do anything about it.  I continued walking when I bumped into someone’s shoulders.
