"Yixing we can't talk here" I said glancing around the room in worry. All eyes were on Kris and I. Especially with the recent rumors in the tabloids that were going around but I guess you could also say they weren't exactly rumors considering they were all true.

“Then come with me. I know a place we can go.” He whispered as I nodded “I’ll leave now to avoid suspicion but meet me out on the patio it ten minutes”

I nodded once more and watched his retreating figure. My heart felt like it was being twisted and it was painful. Jia knew. She knew everything about Yixing and I’s past. She knew about Kris and I. I steadied myself while leaning against the bar. Truthfully I felt a bit faint.

I switched my gaze between the patio and the clock until it had finally been ten minutes and made my way out to the patio. My steps towards the doors were quick as I gently moved my way through the crowd of people.

As soon as I slipped out of one of the doors I was hit by the fresh spring air. I glanced to my left to find Yixing leaning against the wall. No one had gone out to the patio since they were all busy socializing. It was a nice spot and led out to a lush secluded garden with a maze of hedges.

“Shall we?” he smiled and extended his hand towards me which I accepted. He led me into the garden which gave us the privacy we needed.

“Please, tell me what is going on” I pleaded as we came to a stop as soon as we were far enough away from the party.

“My parents are forcing me to marry Jia” he informed as I fiddled with my necklace “Believe me I want out of it as much as possible but Jia has a request of me.”

“What request is that?” I said nervously as he pulled my hand away from my necklace.

“To help her get Kris back” he answered me as I felt my heart freeze momentarily. It would be natural for her to want that “So please Mei, let her have him. If not for your own sake for mine.”

“Xing, I don’t know if I-“I held his hand dearly as I tried to explain but paused “There is so much I can’t bear to do to him. There’s Luhan and his family would come after me. Xing he wouldn’t let me leave even if I wanted to!”

“I can’t see you live like this anymore! I love you Mei with all my heart and I can’t sit back and watch you suffer anymore!” he pleaded as tears welled up in my eyes “I want to be able to take care of you and give you everything you’ve ever wanted! I would pluck all the stars out of the sky if I could for you but he wouldn’t. His infatuation is only surrounded around the fact that you resisted him and were the first and only to ever do so!”

“I want to!” I cried running into his arms
