The Exchange
I Wish I Didn't Love YouYou could say loving him was simple. He was everything a girl could wish for in a man. He was the kind of person to take your breath away just with his presence. The kind of man who would do anything to protect you and keep you away from harm. Who gave you the love no one else could. The kind of love which would consume your thoughts and emotions making you forget all the bad in your life. He was the kind of person that every time you looked at him the feeling would never change it was the same feeling as the first time you laid eyes on him. His name was Zhang Yixing.
I was a third year high school student when I had my first encounter with him. He was a foreign exchange from China who was sent to Korea to experience life on his own without his parents. That year was the life changed and nothing would be able to be the same ever again. I was a part of the advance placement Chinese class and ranked first every year. Which was why I was chosen to mentor the exchange. My father was Chinese and my mother was Korean.
My father was the kind of man who would obey his wife well most of the time that is. Intellectually I took after my father but emotional and physically I took after my mother. My mother was the kind of wife who ruled the household because if my father did it well let's face it we'd be miserable. The nice thing about my dad though was that he always loved to teach me about our Chinese heritage. He was the reason my Chinese was completely fluent. Which is another reason why I was chosen to mentor our new exchange since his first day.
The day in which I could never forget.
"Hello, my name's Zhang Yixing" the boy said as he bowed to the entire clas
