Taemin couldn't explain the different feelings messing in his head.

The day was hot; absolutely, ridiculously hot and he felt as though he could pass out at any moment, but, he was still happy, almost.

Taemin felt odd walking home with a larger group. Many times he had walked home with Kai, and often Amber and Xiumin, but he didn't really know Minho, or the rest of the boys that couldn't decide if they wanted to walk or run; constantly clinging onto each others backs and Taemin was sure they must have felt the smoldering heat, which made him wonder just how they had so much energy in the first place.

He was grateful that Minho had invited him over; almost excited but he couldn't help the unimpressed face he unconsciously pulled as Minho and Kai walked practically glued together along the sidewalk.

But he let it go. The look of distaste suddenly turned to that of shock when he reached Minho's home; he knew just from the path they took that the elder would have a home of expensive taste but as he stood on the doorstep, with his backpack gripped tightly against his shoulders, Taemin couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed.

Minho didn't question the look that decorated Taemin's face; in fact, most of the boys ignored him as he slowly followed them out to the back yard, completely oblivious as to why they were offering themselves as open prey to the torturous sun once more until he spotted the sun's rays glistening over ripples of clear water in the slight distance, only to be brought out of his delightful daydream once he felt the refreshment of the pool hit his skin after the boy named Yongguk decided to dive in. Taemin looked up, a small smile playing on his lips as he watched Minho call him over.

"Taemin-ah, are you coming?"

Taemin felt his knees go weak, but he managed to save himself the embarrassment of falling. Why did Minho's smile have to be so warming, so perfect?

Brushing away his thoughts, Taemin nodded harshly with a bright smile, before throwing down his bag and removing his sports shirt.

Taemin was impressed with his own body, he wasn't exactly muscular, but his toned, lightly defined abs weren't exactly anything to hide. He felt attractive as the sun's warm rays reflected off of his body, enhancing his milky skin and gently tanning his exposed chest. He had no shame what-so-ever, not even up against the more muscular boys. Kai had nothing on him.

After pulling his lengthened hair into a small pony tail, Taemin carefully stepped over to the pool; the heated tiles surrounding it lightly burnt the skin of his feet, causing him to jog slightly until he gently lowered himself into the shallow end.

The water was warm, but it still had a cooling effect; it felt refreshing.

Taemin couldn't help the sigh that left him as he gently stepped deeper; the water getting cooler and cooler as he took further steps, until it reached just below his collarbones and he felt himself hover slightly.

Bliss.

Taemin was too happy to care about social interaction with the rest of the boys; so he just watched from the distance, holding back a scoff as Kai giggled loudly at Minho; hitting the raven haired boy's shoulders. Taemin thought Kai looked weird..

His fists under his cheeks..

His eyes, open as wide as he could get them as he pouted..

Yah.. Was he doing aegyo?!

Before Taemin could actually let out the scoff that he had been holding back, he felt a wave of water flush over him; dampening his hair as he frowned lightly to find the suspect of the incident.

Taemin almost felt grateful that Junhong decided to soak him, otherwise everyone would be questioning his jealousy, but he still pretended to be mad. So very mad.

"Yah! What do you think you're doing?!" Taemin yelled, harshly slapping the water before frowning because ouch, that actually hurt.

"Oh sorry.. But why are you by yourself?" Zelo almost whispered, flicking the blonde curls out of his eyes before trying to smile at the angry, red headed boy before him.

"I don't really know.." Taemin replied honestly, earning a pout from Junhong who awkwardly pushed the water surrounding him out of his way as he stepped closer to Taemin.

"I see.. Well i'm going to get some lemonade; do you want to come with me?"

Junhong was the most innocent boy Taemin had ever met; he had the most innocent smile. It was impossible to say no to that face.

"Um, sure.."

"Okay!" Junhong clapped, accidently flicking water onto an unsuspecting Taemin's face. "But we have to go to the shop for it, Minho only has juice in the house.."

"..Then why don't you just have juice?"

"Because the day is hot! It's the perfect day for lemonade, don't you see?!" Junhong raised his arms, filled with excitement. "And its only round the corner so we'll be less than five minutes."

Taemin let out a puff of air before smiling at the overly-excited boy.

"Sure, let's go." He replied, shuffling though the water before he noticed the curly haired boy not moving from his position.

"Yah.. Aren't you coming?"

"You have to carry me."

Taemin pulled a confused frown.

"What?"

"I can't swim."

"Then why are you in a pool?"

"Because it's nice!" 

Taemin shook his head as Junhong pathetically stomped his feet under the water, before stomping over himself and offering his back to the oversized boy.

"This is only happening once.. Okay?!"

"Neh, Arasso!" Zelo giggled, wrapping his arms lightly around Taemin's shoulders for support, "I was thinking.. Do you want normal lemonade, or cherry? I think i want cherry.. Or apple! Taemin... Do you like orange? And don't let me forget, Bang wants peach okay!"

Ignoring the rest of Zelo's never ending speech, Taemin let out a sigh.

"Ah- Kibum-ah, stop kicking me!"

"Eh? I'm not you idiot!"

"Then what the is hitting my leg?!"

"You're probably stuck on something..."

"This is an absolute piss-take.."

Kibum and Jonghyun had been pleasantly enjoying their afternoon with Jinki. They decided to make iced tea, sharing it with the elder before resting on a shared sun lounger once Jinki had abruptly nipped out. But the boys didn't mind; Kibum had finally changed into shorts after the overwhelming heat began to cause him discomfort, and Jonghyun was happy enough to pull the chair into the shade before tangling his body with the feline boy's and enjoying the weather while it lasted.

Unfortunately for the two, it had lasted less than long before they both frantically shot up at the sound of another's name.

"Taemin-ah, are you coming?"

Both Jonghyun and Kibum hadn't realized the presence of the others, and that's why they sat now, hidden in an oversized bush decorating the balcony overlooking the pool, whilst Jonghyun got a little more than upset with an extremely un-welcoming twig that was trying hard to settle itself up his backside.

"Kibum, this is stupid."

"Aniyo! Jonghyun why is Tae-baby all by himself? He looks so sad.."

"He looks pissed off."

"Jonghyun don't be cruel that's just his face.."

Jonghyun frowned, not like Kibum could see it anyway.

"No, i mean he looks annoyed, see!" Jonghyun pointed his finger slightly though the leaves into Kibum's line of sight. "The blonde boy, he's being cute to Minho and Taemin is pulling a face at him... I don't blame Tae though, what the hell is that boy doing?!"

"Whatever Kai's doing, Minho seems to be enjoying it.."

"Yah that's Kai!"

Jonghyun felt a harsh smack across his lower back.

"Seriously Jonghyun, do you want him to hear you?! So stupid."

"Shut up.. Ah i so badly want to say hello.."

"Then why don't you?!"

Kibum carefully pushed through the shrubbery until he was at least slightly closer to Jonghyun, before pushing through the leaves to make another peep hole with his hands.

"Because you're here?"

"So? I'm pretty sure that blonde boy and that Yongguk guy like me.."

"Sure they do, but wont it be awkward for Minho and Taemin to see us together?!"

Kibum pouted slightly before pulling his way out of the bushes; accidently ripping Jonghyun's shorts slightly before he fell out onto his , but not once standing up as he was sure the boy's would see them.

"I guess.. Okay Jjong, you can come out now.."

Kibum waited as the elder remained in the shrubbery.

"...How?"

"Just fall back."

"Awesome!... Kibum, could you be so kind as to move this twig away from my before i fall back please?"

Kibum couldn't help the scoff that left his lips, before crawling over to the elder and moving the bushes with his hands. 

"Wow, that thing really wanted you.." Kibum laughed, moving the oversized twig aside as Jonghyun lowered himself from the surrounding leaves, letting out an 'oomf' as he collided with the stone flooring before rubbing his head harshly.

Key couldn't help but cringe at the dirt on their clothes, and the leaves decorating Jonghyun's perfectly blonde hair.

"You're a mess." Kibum wasn't being rude, it just sort of fell out.

"Yah, you can talk! Since when were spiders an accessory?!"

Jonghyun let out a loud laugh as Kibum began flailing around, his perfectly manicured hands tugged at his hair harshly as he tried to remove the non-existent insect which Jonghyun had ever so lovingly pointed out to get back at the younger. Jonghyun felt like he won when Kibum crawled in between his legs, gripping him tightly.

"Is it gone?! Jonghyun, is it gone seriously!?" 

Jonghyun let out an almost silent giggle.

"Yeah its gone baby, in fact, i think you killed it, Bummie you're cruel!"

"I hope it suffered." Kibum replied, giving Jonghyun his best puppy eyes, (or as Jjong called them, Kitten eyes) before releasing the grip he held on his shirt. Both boys froze at the yelling of another member of the group downstairs.

"I see.. Well i'm going to get some lemonade; do you want to come with me?"

Jonghyun and Kibum locked eyes, before almost telepathically questioning each other.

"Cue to leave?" 

Jonghyun nodded quickly, gently pushing Kibum off him until they were both on all fours, before patting the younger's to make him move faster as they made their way inside the home.

As they crawled through the kitchen, Kibum felt slightly stupid and so he stood up, pulling his blonde lover with him before dragging him through to the living room, where Jonghyun's parents were making that all important phone call.

Kibum guessed their presence must had startled the two, since Jonghyun's step-mother instantly hid the phone, a look of shock decorated her face, as well as the older man's before they both raised hands to their hearts, smiling awkwardly.

"Jonghyun, dear, what is it?"

Apparently Kibum didn't exist.. Never mind.

"Uh.. We're going back to Kibum's now, can you tell Minho for me later?"

Kibum heard the faint voice of a horribly squeaky girl, her tone questioning as Jonghyun's step-mother slyly placed her finger over the speaker once she caught him trying to listen.

"Yes sure, have fun boys!" She nodded enthusiastically, waiting for the boys to leave and Kibum felt more than uncomfortable as he pushed Jonghyun out of the room.

Kibum kept his discomfort to himself since Jonghyun hadn't appeared to have noticed it, and instead resorted to texting Taemin, asking him where he was just because he was curious as to how the younger would reply, before taking Jonghyun's hand and leaving the home.

It didn't take long for Taemin to reply, which surprised Kibum slightly, and he couldn't help but feel a little shocked at the younger's response.

"From - Taemin <3

Hey Key! I'm at school silly! Didn't i tell you we had sports day? Keke, but i miss you, i'll see you at home later, maybe we can get ice-cream and watch a movie? I don't have work :3 love you x"

Key furrowed his brows.

"He can shove his ice-cream up his arse the lying little ."

"What?"

Key almost forgot he was with Jonghyun, did he say that out loud?!

"Oh nothing.. Just Taemin."

Minho carefully pulled himself out of the pool before ruffling his hair and heading over to the sun lounger.

He was grateful of his large home; both him and his two brothers were lucky to be from a fortunate family; it was nice for him to be able to invite his friends over and actually have something to do. Most of Minho's friends were from the rougher sides of town; they had small houses and were dramatically less fortunate but Minho didn't mind; he liked them really for who they were, not their backgrounds and he thought it was nice for them to get away in a different environment.

Every time they asked to come round, every time they even indicated, he always said yes.

There were so many rooms in the house that there had been times he hadn't even hung out with his friends.

There had been times that Yongguk wanted to get away from his family, and so he would live with Minho for a few days; spending most of his time in the living room or the spare bedrooms (because he liked to try them all) and Minho often didn't bother him either, it was like living with his brothers, he knew they were there, but he let them get on with their own business, occasionally spending time together.

Minho liked that about his friends, they could hang out without really hanging out; they didn't need to be constantly glued to each other but something about Kai.. Something about Kai was different.

Ever since he had helped him, Kai had been attached to Minho like he was some form of God, but what surprised Minho the most was that he really didn't mind, and so he couldn't help but smile as Kai threw himself onto the sun lounger beside him, before letting out a quiet chuckle.

"..It's so hot, no?" Kai laughed, closing his eyes before crossing his arms over his stomach.

Minho still felt bad for Kai, his hair layed back against the chair, exposing his flawless face but Minho couldn't take his attention away from the darkening bruise that covered half his nose, almost traveling up under his right eye.

"Too hot." Minho replied, mimicking Kai and closing his eyes.

"It's never too hot, you're just not cool!"

"Ouch.. Remember who's home you're in Kai!" Minho laughed, not even slightly offended by the blonde haired boy who reached over to slap his leg lightly.

"Nah but seriously, i feel like i'm melting.."

"I think you're doing the complete opposite, I've never seen someone tan so fast.."

Minho opened his eyes slightly, looking over to the blonde boy who had effortlessly caught the sun, darkening his skin tone and flawlessly enhancing his abs. Minho felt slightly jealous, he wanted a tan to enhance his muscular body too; but he just burned, always burned.

"Ah but that's not a good thing, pale skin looks so much nicer."

"You're lying."

"I'm not!" Kai sat up offended. "Really, i think it looks more youthful, more beautiful."

Minho felt slightly uncomfortable in an unexplainable way as Kai scanned his body, unconsciously smiling to his self as he traced Minho's upper body with his eyes, before smirking at the raven haired boy and letting out a giggle.

Minho didn't feel a horrible uncomfortable; he felt more like an exposed uncomfortable, like he was showing himself off to a lover, being judged for the first time; it was a strange feeling, he almost felt .

"I think the boys are back, do you want lemonade?" Kai asked, finishing his sentence with a stunning smile.

"..Yeah, sure, thanks.." Minho replied awkwardly, repositioning himself before he lay back down.

"I'll get you apple, yeah?" Kai giggled down at Minho, who inwardly questioned him with wide eyes because how did he know that Minho would have preferred that to normal lemonade?

"I'd like that.."

Minho liked Kai.

Minho liked Kai a lot.

I have taken too long to update this! Forgive me ;-;

But i have perfect reasoning, i swear! I was cut off by three problems for the last what.. 11 days?

Problem one took up 85% since it was my sisters and grandma's birthday & loads of family decided to come down, blah blah blah i wasn't allowed to be anti-social and in my room on my laptop all day..

Problem two took about 10% with was the oh-so lovely, writers-block. -.-

Problem three took up a lonely 5% because i dont know about you BUT I AM SAD about this Kris thing, i dont really know whats happening but it's breaking my heart because i like Kris and i want him to be happy! I just.. 

Leave EXO Alone!!

(Seriously though i am openly sad about the situation..)

But anyway.. I hope you'll forgive me and i promise for those of you who are thinking, "wtf so little Jongkey", I really am going to try and base the next few chapters (at least) solely on them so yeah, i know this is drifting but.. Idk i like 2min.. but yeah i will involve loads more Jongkey soon. (don't hate me ;-;)
