I don't like where this is going.
Thought that coin is a symbol that luck will come flowing,
Instead it is the opposite that is showing,
Business has been but slowing.

To the borders we're no longer allowed, let alone the uptown.
How are we supposed to get some silver quarters to not feel down?
What a frustrating sight, everyone's faces decorated with frown,
And whoever wears shoes down here, when they don't even own a gown?

I reach home with empty hand,
Except for that gold coin that looks pretty grand,
I wonder if it comes from the upper land,
Nevertheless I'm so sleepy now, I can barely stand,

But I'm eager to show the coin to lil' sister, her scream will soar,
"Jungmin-ah, look what I got," will she adore, or will she be sore?
But what is it that greets me at the door?
Only Omma's weeping and Appa's words of deplore.

"Where's Jungminnie, and what's happening?"
Seeing their sadness, I can't help but flapping,
But it is their answer that left my mouth open, hanging,
and my world suddenly is blackening.

Suddenly Omma interrupts, "Oh what if my precious daughter gets her first bobo?"

"Wait, you two are talking too fast,

Suddenly Omma hits me and yells in aghast,
"So you mean, you already bobo her in the past?"

"What's the big deal, for crying out loud, I'm her brother!
Or is it that hobo, that you rather?"
"Stop this nonsense at once," Appa's voice roars like thunder,
"But what's that in your hand?" His speech turns to a stutter.

"That coin, that's the logo he showed,
To you, did he bribe or goad?"
"What, of course not, do you take your son as a toad?"
"Then think of something, before I explode!"

I inspect the coin that looks like a medal,
Turns out, there's inscription, on the yellow metal,
"Kim Kyujong," I read, ah, so this is the devil?
So much for being from a society of high level, I ain't gonna be gentle.

"So, our son, save your sister now," mercilessly they throw me out in the cold,
Aish, can't I at least have meal and some sleep first, my anger grows, twofold.
