Chapter 12. - Lucky and Unlucky 

Dara's P.O.V 

I finally unload the last bag into the cabin, placing it at the corner. Those lazy asses have gone to get some wood for a fire at night. Maybe I can burn some of them at the stake. Oh how lovely that would be! 

I decide to go look around for a bit. I gaze around the lake. Too bad I can't swim.. But I've never actually liked swimming. It was always stupid for me. You'd rarely even need it in life. Shh.. truth is.. I'm afraid of drowning. Or being shoved in again. But that's another story. 

I make sure the door is locked, before I start to wander around the cabin. 

"Hurry up you s!" I heard Chanyeol yell. 

"Jeez, you're not the one holding 5 logs of wood!" I heard Xiumin protest. 

"Yea man. You're only holding like.. two." I heard Lay snicker. 

I watched as they all trudged up back to the cabin. "Hurry up you s!" I mock Chanyeol, smirking at them. 

"Very funny." Sehun scoffs, letting down a bunch of wood as Luhan follows. 

"You guys are weaklings." I roll my eyes. 

"You weren't the one doing it." Luhan argues, dropping down the wood, and stepping closer to me. 

"Fine, I'll do it later. But just don't expect me to-" 

"Dara?" Someone asked. What? Who was this? I spun around. 

"Hae?" I grin, running over to him. 

"Yea! It's me!" Donghae smiles, enveloping me in a hug. I hug him back, as tightly as possible. Oh how I missed him. Donghae was my best friend. During the past summers our families would come here and their lake house would be right next door. 

We have known each other since we were both 12. Me and Hae would hang out every single day. Skipping rocks, playing tag, pulling pranks on my brother and his sister. Okay, I admit I may have a tiny little crush on him. 

"I missed you so much." He mumbles, as we still stand there hugging.

"Me too!" I smile, looking up at him.

"Ahem."
