This is a spin-off of Jonghyun and Taeyeon's story which began in Redefining Us. It is originally meant as a 3-shot/3 special chapters for that fic. However, the 3rd part ended up being 40+ pages long and so, I decided to just leave RU to Yongseo and create a separate one that would feature JongTae.

This is a short story co-authored by my good friend, @tartytorts, who also came up with the title for this spin-off. :p 

Just like RU, this story is divided into 3 parts. The first one is called Burning in Love. It's Jonghyun's story (which some, or most of you are already familiar with; it is the same chapter posted in the original). Part II is called Reigniting the Fire. That part is told from the female lead's perspective. Lastly, Part III is called, Fanning the Flame. In contrast to Yongseo, Part III of this story is the longest one. It is the reason why this spin-off was born. haha.

 I think the "fire" concept is quite obvious from the title. It is derived from Jonghyun's code name. LOL.
