Pure Pearl

Description

. . . er. Orphan. None of those names bothered Sook Ok besides "orphan". She masked away the hurt though and kept on her cool. She was the company ; everyone hated her. Everyone judged her. Everyone gave her dirty looks and glares and talked behind her back. No one said anything to her because they were afraid of her. She could sense their fear and it only made her stronger. But what happens when one day someone stands up against her, gets her to open to him and learns all the reasons why she is the way she is now, and why she is doing what she does?

Foreword

I startet to sob in his arms, my shoulders shuddering violently against his chest. This felt so good, so comfortable. This was a feeling I needed but never got, a feeling I craved for, something I needed.

One hand was on the back of my neck, and the other was on my waist. He held me protectively. Then he looked pulled my face away from his chest and stared at me. I had a feeling that I looked like , considering that I was wearing heavy makeup and I could feel the stickiness of my mascara across my cheeks.

I leaned my head in his chest so that he wouldn't have to see my ugly face, but then he sternly held my face out and pulled my chin up to look him in the eye.

"Stop... I'm ugly.. I have scars all over. I'm broken. I-I'm.."

"Shh..." he cooed. He placed a kiss on my forehead and wiped my mascara. "I'll help you princess."

He leaned back and lied on his back on my fluffy bed, then took a hold of my arms and gently pressed me against him. This felt so right, so secure, my head on his chest with his arms wrapped around me.

But this was just a dream, because nothing great stays in my life. It's time to wake up from reality, and as he softly snores I bid him a kiss goodbye and run.
