Xiumin was only 13 when he meet Izaara. He is now 28. 

He was at the beach with his parents and little brother. There were people playing volleyball, getting a tan, eating ice cream, walking, and swimming. He got up from his towel and decided to swim a bit to help cool him down from the wave heat. 

As he plunged into the water and moved towards the deeper area he heard a cry and turned his head towards the source. 

"HELP! HELP!" cried a girl. His head kept bobbing up and down in the water. 

Xiumin didn't hesitate to help the stranger, and so he swam as fast as he could to help save her. More cries were heard, but this time from the beach. 

"Xiumin! Look out!!!" cried his mother. 

Xiumin turned his head to his right and saw a huge wave, but it was too late. He went down, down, and down. He tried to move his arms and legs to swim back up to the surface but he felt weak. He felt something pulling him deep down into the ocean. 

He saw the beautiful sun shining and the clear, blue water. Drowsiness began to fill within him and he blinked twice, trying to stay awake. He let go of his breath, deflating his puffy cheeks and causing bubbles to rise up to the surface. He closed his eyes and gave in to this helpless feeling. 

The next thing he felt was someones elegant hands wrap around his waist and a soft voice whipsering in his ear saying "I've got you and I'll help you, but please stay awake for me okay? Please.." 

The voice was angelic and sweet, and so he opened his eyes granting her favor. He was faced with a woman whose hair was jet black and short up to her jawline. He just stared at her in awe, and she looked at him and smiled.

"Thank you.." she said. 

They reached the surface and Xiumin began to cough as air filled his lungs. She just smiled and stifled a laughter. Once he got a hold of himself he said, "Um... Thank you. So much. My names Xiumin!"

He bowed and extended his hand out for a handshake, a puzzled look came across her face. She hesitated, but then she shook his hand. He gave her a gummy smile, and she returned it. 

"I'm Izaara." She said quietly and shyly. Xiumin noticed she didn't bow or anything, and that's when he really looked at her appearances. Shock came across his face and she started to get worried. 

"Oh my... Um. I'm sorry if I scared you! Just, forget about everything, okay? I'm so sorry. I just... I needed to save you and ...." she was close to tears. "It was very nice to meet you, Xiumin." Then she went deeper into the waters.

Xiumin plunged in the water and followed her. She started to swim faster and go deeper in the water. He almost caught her, but then he ran out of air and had to go to the surface for some air. 

He took a deep breath of the air and swam back to the shore. He heard his name being shouted and looked at his right noticing his family. 

"I thought I lost you..." gasped his mother and hugged him tightly. 

"No.. I'm fine Mom..." thanks to Izaara. He held up the teal scale to inspect it. The scale was beautiful and iridescent; he held tightly to it, engraving it onto his palm.

Hiiiiiiii (: This is a fanfic I'm sort of making up for a friend. I got inspired by a trailer that I saw many years back and I don't know the full plot of it because I've never seen the movie but I'm going to try and fill it in with my own imagination c: I hope you guys like it ? well, you don't have to but yeah.
