Kris rubbed his eyes, shoving his phone back under his pillow. He rolled over onto his side, keeping his eyes closed in hopes of falling back asleep. But the thought that she had texted him so early in the morning (especially with the time difference of 1 hour) meant she was up at a totally unreasonable hour. Maybe she had woken up and had the urge to text him. Or something like that. He was too tired to think properly. Squeezing his eyes closed tighter, he emptied his mind and tried to sleep again.
