That Person
Hey You, Mr. Playboy
When Soojung got home, she decided to tell everything to Jinri. She was hysterical when she knew all of the details. At first she was upset at her because she kept all of it a secret from her. It’s a good thing that they were walking in the park, and Jinri can freely shout.
“So that’s why there was some spark when you and Jongin look at each other. Like there was really something.”
“He doesn’t love me, if that’s what you think, dear.”
“Well, based on your story, I can say that he’s already falling for you. Not to mention that--” Jinri faked a cough. “You know, something happened between you two. And you’re both ually compatible.”
“Choi Jinri!” She blushed.
“Come on, Soojung. Don’t tell me you don’t feel anything for him? You won’t be jealous with Seulgi if you don’t feel anything for Jongin.”
Soojung sighed. She had to admit, she’s been forcing herself to believe that Jongin could just give her . But deep inside, she felt something special towards him. So special that it hurt her thinking that he doesn’t feel anything for her.
“But what if I’m just using him as an outlet of frustration because of Minhyuk? What if I just needed someone to comfort me? What if I still love Minhyuk?”
“Do you still love him?”
”I promised myself not to love him anymore. And I think I succeeded doing it. But I still need to make sure.” She shook her head.
“Maybe try to see him again. And see if you still love him. If you already don’t, then it might be a good idea to confess to Jongin what you truly feel.”
“It doesn’t matter now. All that Jongin made me feel was just the effect of him comforting me because of my broke up with Minhyuk. Maybe he’s guilty because he’s the cause of why my ex-boyfriend hated me.”
“How can you say that? It’s not right for you to assume that. Have you talked with Jongin when you got here?”
Soojung shook her head. Jongin called her a lot of times but she didn’t answer. She also deleted all of his messages without even reading them. He even visited her last time but she didn’t open the door for him. When he left, she saw flowers outside. She wanted to throw them, but instead she hugged it and cried unexpectedly.
