Make You Smile
Hey You, Mr. Playboy
Soojung decided to have a one month vacation from her work. Yesterday, Jinri and Jiyoung visited her. They were worried about her, and they asked if she’s been okay. But still, she didn’t want to tell them all the details. She needed time to be alone and relax. She wanted to get out of the city. But where would she go? When she got home that afternoon, she saw Jongin at the porch. He then gave her a killer smile while holding a bouquet of white roses. Is this a drama? Why would he bring flowers?
“Yes?” She asked, while looking at the roses. It was well arranged.
“I was just visiting you.” He said, as he handed the bouquet. That was the first time for her to receive flowers from a guy. Minhyuk didn’t even give her flowers before. Even the simplest kind. She smelled them.
“Thank you, Jongin. Do you want to have dinner here? Can you just wait a little, I’ll just cook.” She offered him.
“Don’t bother. I have a better idea. Let’s just eat outside. My treat.” She agreed. They went to a Japanese restaurant.
“How are you?” Jongin asked as they wait for their food.
“I’m fine.” She tried to make her voice lively.
“You’re not okay.” He said, concerned.
“Fine, I’m still miserable, alright?” She sighed.
“I understand. You love him, and it’s not that easy to forget him.” He then smiled bitterly. “Lucky bastard.” He silently said as he shook his head.
“I don’t want to love him, anymore. You’re right. I don’t need someone like him in my life.” Soojung tried to be happy while eating that night. They talked about their family. She now knew that Mrs. Kim likes ballroom dancing. Jongin said that he will bring her to his mother’s ballroom club this Saturday. She agreed. She also needed to relax.
“Smile. You look prettier when you smile, you know.” He said. Soojung pouted at him. “I can make you smile.” He confidently said.
“Really?” She asked, testing him. And then, she was shocked when he started to sing.
When your warm hands get cold suddenly.
