Chapter 5: A Hard Battle

Chasing Biases

Soomin walked out of the girls locker room, into the dance floor’s hallway where most of her classmates and other students were starting to fill the place. Some students coming in for class, others on their way out.

Soomin had bid a farewell to those few girls and guys that talk to her, but she has yet to really make any good friends. Watching the students she was aquatinted with walk off, she couldn’t help but have a sting of loneliness hit her.

The only two that seem to be on the way to being good friends were Kai and Sehun. The two maknaes of the popular boy group, EXO.

“Hey.” She suddenly heard a deep voice behind her.

Soomin turned around to see Oh Sehun and Kim Jongin right behind her. She gave the two a smile before replying. “Hi.”

Three hours ago, this relationship between the three definitely wasn’t like this.

But after working everything out, during the second half of class, the three had nothing to share but a few friendly smiles between each other.

The three were slowly getting comfortable with one other through laughs and smiles, poking each other when the teacher talks, laughing with each other when one of them messed up a dance move, and Kai having a ball with Soomin as they made fun of Sehun. The EXO maknae kept his word well. Kai and Soomin seemed pretty impressed and happy about it.

As for Soomin, the student’s stares didn’t seem to affect her when she was around the two. And she definitely got stares.

It was like it all disappeared.

“Ready to go?” Sehun asked.

“Yup.” she answered happily.

“Come on Soomin-ah” Kai smiled holding his arm out for Soomin to take a hold, pretending he was her .

Soomin giggled and took his arm with a smile.

Sehun’s smile for Soomin quickly faded into a pout seeing how Kai easily took her attention away from him. As the two started to walk off, Sehun quickly ran up to the free side of Soomin and grabbed her hand to hold on to his arm like Kai’s.

Both Soomin and Kai could only laugh to themselves at Sehun’s reaction. His pout was something Soomin had been seeing all class, and she could help but squeal inside when she saw it.

“So what are you going to be doing today?” Soomin asked once they started walking off.

“We have a photo shoot today.” Kai answered before Sehun could.

“Yeah.” Sehun added in trying to push away his anger. “Some of our hyungs are going to pick us up at the gate.”

“Oh, well my unnie is going to pick me up there too. Lucky we are going in the same direction.” She sighed in relief. She didn’t want to make the guys walk her one way when they had to go the other. She didn’t want to trouble them.

“Hey, even if we weren’t we would still walk you.” Sehun told her sincerely. “Especially so no one like Sulli can bug you.”

“Well..I don’t want you to be late or anything..” she started to blush pretending she didn’t hear Sehun’s comment.

“No worries Soomin-ah. Our hyungs would understand.” Kai said reassuringly as they continued to make their way to the gate.

It was the middle of the afternoon, and the streets were filled with busy Koreans walking to their destinations. The fog from the morning had disappeared and the sun had taken away only the slightest bit of the wind’s cold bite.

Mirim stepped off the bus onto the busy Seoul sidewalk, trying her best to dodge the others that were around her. Her large eyes took in her surroundings then shot straight to the ground. Mirim adjusted her backpack awkwardly and started walking off in the direction of Soomin’s school.

Mirim was a Scorpio, quiet, mysterious, even sometimes strange. Her whole demeanor as she walked said that.

As for anger…you don’t piss off a Scorpio unless you want to get stung. Scorpio is one of the few Zodiacs you never want to be around when they are pissed.

As she was making her way down the sidewalk, those that were around her started bumping into her, she started to get a little frustrated. She still wasn’t used to the lack of personal space that seemed to be an everyday thing here in Korea.

A crowed bus she could deal with.

The feeling of someone following close behind her was different. Especially continuously bumping into others was annoying after the first three times.

Mirim sighed, gripping onto her backpack straps, as she continued walking to Soomin’s school slowly, still dressed up nicely as a teacher.

Mirim was uncomfortable. She wasn’t the type of person to dress up nicely on a daily basis, but being an ESL teacher, she had to dress up, no matter how uncomfortable she felt.

“Aish…next time, I think I might bring clothes to change into instead of staying in these.” she said to herself, ing her grey blazer.

Mirim kept her slow pace and could see the school’s gate in view a few blocks away. She smiled, happy that the walk wasn’t too far, but it faded away upon seeing a huge crowd around a large black van, blocking the gate’s opening.

Each and everyone of the girls there were shoulder to shoulder, screaming at the top of their lungs, even knocking on the windows.

“Great. More people..” the dark haired girl muttered to herself. She could even start to see more girls race for the crowd. It was like they were all popping out of no where and it was just causing the group to grow making it even worse.

“What the hell?” Walking closer Mirim stood a decent distance away from the crowd.

Who ever was in the van, they hadn’t stepped out yet. She could tell that much. The girls maybe going crazy, but seeing as they were pretty stable, they were waiting for that someone to come out.

She may be a bit of the curious type, but she brushed the thought away. The reserved girl just wanted to find her dongsaeng, and get out before whoever was in the van could come out and cause a riot. No way in hell did she want to be in a stampede of sasaeng fans.

Mirim walked from one side of the crowd to the other trying to find a way in, or just to even get a glimpse to see if Soomin walked out yet. Sure their appointment with her friend she had was about two hours away, but still being new to Seoul, she didn’t know how long it would take to get her and Soomin there to practice.

After seeing it was hopeless to get through, Mirim decided to message Soomin.

To: Lee Soomin Dongsaeng

Soomin-ah, I’m out by the gate waiting for you. It’s kinda crowded so try looking for me! I should be on your right once you get out.~

From: Lee Soomin Dongsang

Okay!~ I’ll look for you.~ :3

Just as Mirim put her phone away, the group of fangirls that were in front of her started to go absolutely crazy. The screams were so loud she though her eardrums were going to burst.

Even a large group of girls that were waiting on the outskirts of the crowd made a large wall off death, running straight into the crowd to try and squeeze their way to the front. That wall of death caught the dark haired young teacher, and pushed her into the suffocating crowd.

Everyone around her was pushing and shoving trying to find their way to the inner side to get a glimpse of whoever was here.

“OPPA! OPPA!” They all screamed one by one. The girls surrounding Mirim were loud enough to make her head hurt.

Mirim being the metal fan she was, has been to her fair share of shows where she has been in a situation close to this. However this seamed totally different. These girls here were really trying to push others out of the way. This was no friendly mosh pit.

“Rude es..” she thought to herself starting to push back when girls would push her.

“YA! MOVE!” a random girl shouted at her, pushing her off her feet into another behind her.

“Oh hell no!” Mirim growled and glared at the girl who pushed her. But before she could do anything the girl she was pushed into, pushed back.

“YA! YOU WANNA DIE?” she threatened.

Mirim rolled her eyes at her empty threat. “Please..” she hissed out annoyed.

Before Mirim knew it she was a part of a full out brawl as everyone started attacking each other, due to their greed for wanting to be in front. At least thats what it could of been. This one was more of pushing and shoving then hitting. A typical girl fight.

“YA WHAT DID YOU SAY?” both the of the two girls that she had bumped into closed in on her, but Mirim didn’t show any fright. She kept a cold hare stare that pierced right through them as she placed her hands in her pockets.

Suddenly both girls rushed her, one went for the hair to keep her in place, the other went for a slap that went straight across her face.

That did it.

The reserved girl from before was no more.

Mirim saw nothing but red as she could feel that sting hit her cheek, and the taste of blood in . The young girl hit her so hard, she bit her cheek.

Without even thinking, Mirim kicked the girl straight in the stomach sending her to the ground. As for the other that had a lock on her hair, she pulled Mirim’s hair, dragging her away and pushing her into a clear spot out of the chaos like she was a piece of trash.

“OH ” she shouted as she lost her footing, and could feel herself falling. Just when she thought she was about to hit the ground, she was caught almost horizontal to the cement, her hands automatically gripping to whatever put her arms around her.

The Scorpio girl was now more than pissed and was panting as she kept her eyes on the girls in front of her. She touched the edge of her lips to feel if there was blood from earlier. “I’m about to kill some ing es.” she thought to herself seeing the blood on her finger tips until a second thought entered her mind. “Wait..someone..caught me. I’m holding on to…someones arms..”

Looking to her side she saw a set of eyes she was very familiar with.

Mirim felt her heart drop into her stomach and her eyes shoot wide open upon seeing that face..

The boy’s owl shaped eyes were opened just as wide as hers must of been as they continued to stare at each other.

“Kyungsoo..ssi..” she breathed out.

Kyungsoo had stayed behind his two hyungs as the three EXO members stepped out of EXO-K’s black van. Suho had texted Sehun that they were out front, and warned them about the amount of fans that are around. Sehun had text back saying Kai and him were close so the others decided to jump out of the van and give the fans some type of service to make them happy.

For a few seconds it worked. Fans smiled, called for them, screamed ‘I love you’, as well as take pictures and ask for autographs.

Then the three started to notice, things were getting rowdy. More fans added to the crowd, as well as more seemed to try and move up front closer to them.

The boys slightly started to panic, until they saw how physical their fans were treating one another. Pushing and shoving was only something that could go so far.

The leaders took the initiative to figure out what was wrong, while Kyungsoo stayed in place close to their van.

These fans scared him.

He was starting to get nervous.

Suddenly he saw a girl get thrown out by her hair, and without thinking caught her before she could hit the ground.

“Holy crap what did I just do..” he thought to himself slightly regretting his action. He was a kind heart and he didn’t want anyone to get hurt but…the mix of the girl being a fan..and him being the one that caught her..that mix he didn’t like.

He was afraid of what she would do.

His body tensed up waiting for the young women in his arms to attack him with and oppa or a hug, even a kiss; which he could swear he’d drop her if she did.

But the dark haired girl..didn’t seem to notice.

He watched her eyes filled with fury continuing to stare into the chaos around them. He was amused as her dark eyes gave off the same aura as Tao’s.

Then he saw her reason, she was bleeding. His head told him that he should worry about it or show some sympathy but..

Her large dark eyes that he could help but continue to stare at, they were hypnotizing.

Her long black hair was course and tickled his skin. Her skin was a light brown but darker than Jongin’s.

He couldn’t help but think to himself that she was so different..but pretty even in her state.

As he subconsciously admired her, her eyes suddenly stared straight into his.

She finally notice.

Kyungsoo felt himself tense up again waiting for her reaction.

Her eyes were large and he watched them grow even larger, but she didn’t move.

“Kyungsoo..-ssi..” she breathed out. She said it so softly, so hesitantly, it made him wonder if they had met before. She sounded like she had known him before.

The way she said his name, made his heart beat so hard it hurt. He could even feel his eyes grow large with shock as his heart continued to beat against his chest.

“What do I do?!” he started to panic even more. “What is happening to me?!”

The large eyed boy didn’t get a chance to mutter a word. Everything had happened in the blink of an eye.

The dark haired girl with eyes almost as big as his had fallen in his arms so quick, and before he knew it she was pulled out of his arms just as fast into the sea of crazy fans leaving him with that “pain” in his chest.

Kyungsoo could hear the profanities thrown at her, as the many fangirls started to lay hands on her..

His eyes widened in horror, but something in him couldn’t move.

All he could do was stand there with his arms still in the position when he caught her, and with his jaw dropped as he watched her fight off all the girls that continued to attack her. He was speechless.

“Ya! How could you let go of her?” Suho suddenly yelled at Kyungsoo worried, looking into the mob that formed out for the brown skinned foreign girl.

They guys and their managers had been trying to get the crowd under control this whole time, but no matter what it all seemed to get worse.

“.” Kris hissed as him and Suho shouted at their fans to try and calm them down.

“YA! Stop! GUYS!”

“QUIT IT”

The two leaders continued to shout out to their fans to get them under control.

The pushing and shoving from earlier definitely had escalated.

“YA HOW DARE YOU LAY HANDS ON KYUNGSOO OPPA!”

“HE’S NOT YOURS”

“DIRTY ”

“!”

Hands grabbed for Mirim’s hair, and her clothes as many hands made contact with her face, her stomach, and any other part of her body the girls could hurt. Mirim was now being pushed around a circle of girls who were absolutely pissed. Each one of them landing some kind of blow on her, even as she fought back.

Mirim had only heard about how crazy sasaeng fans were, but these girls took it to another level.

“Get off of me!” She shouted at them pushing a few off of her. “ you guys I got pushed into him by accident.”

“LIAR” another girl yelled as the group outnumbered her.

When Soomin and the two maknaes made it to the gate, they could see the brawl that was happening right outside.

“What the hell?” Kai said out loud almost worried.

“Ya, you don’t think our hyungs are getting attacked do you?” Sehun asked looking towards Kai.

Kai ran for the crowd first, “Soomin-ah stay here.” Sehun said quickly before running after Kai.

Little did the boys know that Soomin was right behind them.

“Hyung!” Kai shouted out to s in the middle of the circle, trying to make his way through the insane amount of girls.

“Suho hyung!” Sehun called out right behind Kai.

Soomin just stood there as she looked at the chaos in front of her. She could tell that they were all after one girl due to a cluster in the group.

Who ever the girl was, they had her pushed to the floor, but that was when she noticed..

“UNNIE!” Soomin screamed when she saw her old friend on the ground, being pounded on and kicked to the floor.

Soomin ran for the shifting mob as Mirim tried her best to get herself out and keep up on her feet.

“UNNIE! STEF!” she screamed out again running head first into the mash of sasaengs. With all of her strength, Soomin pushed the few girls that were on top of Mirim off and to the floor.

“YAH LEXI WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?” Mirm shouted once she caught a glimpse of her red headed friend, finally able to pull herself on her feet. She didn’t want Soomin to get into this mess.

It was too late, Soomin didn’t even get a chance to answer thanks to the hard hit that landed across her face.

“YA” Soomin snapped going straight for the girl that hit her.

“..” Mirim hissed.

She headed for the girl that was now harassing her dongsaeng, kicking her off of her with a little more forced than needed due to her anger. Suddenly both girls were pulled into more fights with others.

They all kept coming.

By this time, every girl in the crowd was attacking each other, leaving the boys to try and break it up.

Both Soomin and Mirim continued to get pushed around, and land a few hits themselves as they tried their best to keep on their feet. The girls were lost in the fact that now this fight was sorta personal. It went from defending one’s self, to sticking up for their friends.

“Soomin-ah!” she heard someone call out. Soomin found Sehun and Kai peaking in from looking over the sea of girls. The two were now in the middle of the crowd where she could see the other members were trying to look in.

Soomin could see the worried look on both Kai and Sehun’s faces when their eyes met.

Just a few minutes before, Soomin was nice and clean from a shower, skin completely untouched, hair that laid perfectly. The way they saw her now, a dark bruise was forming on her left cheek, her hair completely disheveled from being pulled left and right, she even seemed to be bleeding from a a cut on her forehead that was hidden by her hair.

“Soomin-ah!” They both called out for her again.

“YA! Make your way over here!” Sehun shouted to her.

Soomin turned to her unnie “We have to get to the middle!” she shouted to her over the screaming and cursing around her.

Mirim followed Soomin’s gaze to where she could see the middle and an open spot. The both ran for it, tripping, pushing, and fighting others over trying to get to the clearing.

The two girls made their way into their safe haven, arms grabbing them and forcing them into the car before they could get hurt anymore.

Safe at last.

“Where could they be? It’s not like Suho hyung to be late..” Chanyeol’s deep voice rang through the other six members. They were all sitting and standing around as they occupied a far corner away from the stage of the photo shoot. Each and every one of them were nervously fidgeting wondering why their remaining members haven’t shown up yet.

“They said they were going to pick up Kai and Sehun..it’s almost half of us missing, and said they won’t start shooting us until we are all here..” Xiumin said with some nervousness in his voice.

“Maybe they got mauled by some girls.” Chen said with a troll smile.

“Ya! You know that’s not funny!” Luhan smacked the back of this dongsaeng’s head. “Not with what we’ve been through lately!”

“AHH..wwwaaAEE!~” Chen whined rubbing the back of his head. “I was just trying to lighten everyone up.”

Tao rolled his eyes at his stupid hyung. “Tao-ya, text Yifan and see where they are.” Lay asked as he nudged the younger with his arm.

“Okay, okay.” he replied and started writing out a text then sending it.

A few seconds later, Tao’s phone went off. “He says they are almost here—“

“Too bad they can’t be here as fast as he texts.” Baekhyun sassed. “We are almost thirty minutes behind schedule!”

“I didn’t finish! Kris gege said that they got into trouble and they brought people with them..”

“EH?!” they all gasped.

“Trouble?” Lay asked again.

The seven members looked at each other trying to think of what the Chinese leader could be talking about. For Kris to be okay with bringing people, it had to be serious.

After a moment of them all thinking to themselves, Tao’s phone went off again. “They are here..” he said.

Not even a minute later the members could hear the metal doors of the large  warehouse studio open.

The five missing members of EXO walked in with two girls.

Sehun and Kai walked behind a small framed girl with bright red hair, and Suho had his arm around a dark hair, light brown skinned girl.

The both had to be foreigners, they all thought, but the brain teaser was what the hell were these two girls doing with any members of EXO?

As the other members started to come closer to them, the other seven started to notice that these girls were hurt. Blood running down and showing from different parts of their faces, and dark bruises were starting to decorate the parts of skin they could all see.

The guys’ first questions didn't matter anymore, the were all taken back seeing that the guys came in with injured girls.

Both of them looked no older than all the EXO boys.

“Holy crap what happened?” Chen spoke up first as the five boys came close with the girls.

“Who are these two?” Chanyeol asked looking at the two as if they were aliens.

“Ya, ask questions later! Can’t you see they need some help? Especially this one..” Suho said with is arm still around Mirim.

“Come on, let’s get to the dressing room and help these two clean up, we will explain everything.” Kris stated coldly already heading towards the back room.

The boys quietly followed behind their leaders, and sat on the large couches that were in the dressing room for them due to their large number.

“Get the medkits out,” Suho commanded for one of the members to do as he helped Mirim sit on the couch,”Kris, go talk to the photographer, or get manager hyung to. Tell them what happened, hopefully they won’t be to upset about starting late..”

Kris only nodded before walking out of the dressing room leaving the rest of the members alone with the two girls.

Soomin had sat down next to Mirm, but neither of them said anything at all. All the two girls could do was stay quiet and keep their eyes on the floor.

They were speechless.

They were in front of twelve very well known singers, not to mention good looking.

What could they say?

Lay came up to the couches from behind, sitting two medkits on the couch in between the girls.

Suho had chosen to take a seat next to Mirm while Sehun and Baekhyun started to patched them up.

With Suho being a leader and EXO’s “Guardian Angel” what was wrong with being an angel for these two injured girls?

“Excuse me,” Suho started off softly and slowly hoping that the foreign girls or at least one of them spoke Korean. “Are you okay?”

Some of the EXO members that were watching, face palmed themselves at the obvious question, while others were curious if they would even understand.

Mirim looked towards Suho with soft eyes before speaking in Korean. “Neh..I’m okay.”

Suho internally sighed in relief knowing that there won’t be a language barrier. He gave her a smile. “You got really hurt didn’t you?”

“Oh..aniyo!” she tried to cover up until Baekhyun made a slight move against her nose. “Ah!” she hissed pulling away.

“Ah! Miyanhaeyo!” Baekhyun replied quickly. “I’ll be more gentle..”

Mirim just gave the main singer a little smile then decided to stay still as he cleaned her up. He didn’t hesitate to smile back.

As for Soomin, she felt that it might of been a bit bittersweet that Sehun was the one who chose to step up to clean her. Her heart still wasn’t in the right place after everything that had happened this morning. She would of rather had Kai do it..but since her and Sehun were kinda on good terms right now, she decided not to say anything about it. She just wished she could calm her heart down.

One of his hands gently held her head up to keep from looking down, while his other hand moved her hair back to find the bleeding cut on her forehead.

Sehun’s look towards her didn’t read anything at all. It was his usual cold stare..or straight face actually.

The face she always fangirled about…

She felt his caring touch as he started cleaning off the wound on her forehead, “Ugh just ing slap me already..” she thought to herself hating that he was so close. She had no where else to look but straight at him..

Kai was on the same side of the couch as Sehun and Soomin, he sat there watching the two get fixed up as well as keeping an eye on what would happen between Sehun and Soomin. That awkwardness was there again..he could read Sehun like a book. But it seemed to be because they were all in front of the whole group.

Kai looked away from the two next to him, deciding to shrug it off for now, to see that on the other side of him, Kyungsoo was staring straight at the dark haired girl. His eyes were so focused it was almost like he was trying to stare into her soul.

This coming from the one member that doesn't even dare to stare at a girl, was strange. His hyung has never even had a girlfriend.

“Kyungsoo hyung would always tell me his mom taught him to never stare at a girl. Thing is, she sounded more on the ‘don’t-you-even-dare-look-at-a-girl’ side.” the dancer thought to himself. “What would make him break his mom’s rules now?”

Kai nudged Kyungsoo forcing his stare to break. “What are you looking at?” he whispered to him trying to keep their conversation hidden from the others. By this time Suho and Baekhyun were having a small chat with the dark haired girl. Even the rest of the members were talking amongst themselves while looking back at the two girls every once and a while.

“Nothing.” he hissed back, his eyes still on her.

“Hyung..”

“Jongin-ah, stop.” Kyungsoo whispered firmly.

“Then why does it look like you’re thinking so hard? Is it something about that girl?” he asked pointing at the young teacher.

Kyungsoo didn’t say anything. He just kept his eye on her as her looked at her.

Yeah, it was about the girl.

The owl eyed boy’s mind was in ruins.

It was like a tornado tore through it, and it was all because of that girl. The worst part is was that he knew she was trying hard to no look back at him, and it was driving him insane.

Everything was to blame on what happened back at the school.

He needed to know if that feeling from before would come back if their eyes locked again. So his decision was to keep staring until that happened.

Kyungsoo started to bite his lip out of nervousness until Kris walked in.

“We talked them into giving us a little time to get them fixed and out of here.” Kris stated and walked over to the members on the couches.

His eyes pierced straight through the girls, and the two maknaes.

“Hyung stop.” Suho wanted Kris to pull back his stare.

“I want to know what happened.” Yifan said sternly ignoring EXO-K’s leader. “Who are you two?”

Suho turned back to Mirim, who was giving a scowl back to the other leader. “Don’t mind him.” he said to her and to Soomin with an angelic smile. “What are your names?” he asked politely with charm.

“I’m Lee Soomin.” the younger girl piped up with a smile.

“I’m Shin Mirim.” the dark haired girl replied softly with a small smile as well.

“This might sound a little..strange..but, do you happen to know who we are?” Suho asked carefully.

Soomin and Mirim could only smile and nod.

“Yes, we know who you are. We are actually big fans, and Soomin-ah goes to school with Sehun-ssi and Kai-ssi.”

“You two know each other?” Kai asked Soomin confused causing both girls to looks towards the maknaes.

“Of course! This is my unnie I was telling you about!”

“What!” Kai and Sehun both asked surprised.

“That’s noona?” Sehun asked.

Soomin just nodded with an innocent face.

“Heh, Hi Sehun-ssi, Kai-ssi.” Mirim waved.

“Oh, noona you can call me Jongin.” Kai smiled brightly.

Kyungsoo instinctively smacked Jongin’s head. “OW! WHAT??” he shouted.

“Who said you could call her noona?!” Chen shouted, now that the rest of the members were in the conversation.

“We don’t even know how old she is.” Luhan pointed out.

“What year were you born in Mirim-ssi?” Baekhyun asked still sitting in front of her.

“Uh..1992.” she answered.

“You’re the same age as me, Chen, and Yeolie!” Baekhyun smiled.

Mirim couldn’t help but smile back at Baekhyun before speaking again. “Ah..it’s okay if they call me noona. Since they go to school with Soomin-ah I will probably see more of those two.”

Kai gave Mirim his large smile, and Sehun a small one before slightly bowing. Mirim bowed back.

Kris cleared out his throat. “Well Mirim-ssi, if you don’t mind I would like to know what happened at the school.” he hissed out annoyed.

Mirim refused to look towards Yifan but her emotions showed that she was annoyed with him as well.

Kyungsoo saw her expression and couldn’t help but smirk at it.

“What did happen unnie? I come out and I find you being beaten up by a bunch of fans.

The EXO members that hadn’t the slightest idea of what happened all gasped.

“All this damaged done to you was by our fans?” Xiumin asked out loud.

“If you want to call them fans..I think most of the ones that did the damage were sasaengs…” Mirim mumbled touching the few bandages that were on her face.

The EXO member all physically shivered hearing the word sasaengs.

“What made them all go after you?” Baekhyun asked.

“Well at first I got pushed in when you guys probably came out of the van. This huge wall of girls caught me with them and forced me in. Then these two girls picked a fight with me during the few seconds of pushing a shoving for me running into them. Got slapped and pushed towards the middle, then before I knew it I was back in and was their target..” the boys got confused for a second.

“I think we’re missing something.” Kris said out loud with his arms crossed. He knew what happened he saw the whole thing when Kyungsoo caught her. He couldn’t help but think of the exact reason why she wasn’t confessing to it. He noticed that Kyungsoo expression had changed as well during the explanation.

Kyungsoo was even gripping onto his pants listening to her explanation. When he heard that she was purposely leaving him out of it he started to get annoyed.

“Yeah..what made them target you?” Kai asked.

“…When I was pushed into the middle..I was about to take a nasty fall..until Kyungsoo..-ssi..caught me.” She blushed. Mirim looked towards Soomin who just had her jaw dropped. She already knew Soomin must be screaming in her head.

“So when I got pulled in,” she continued.”they were all cursing at me and beating me for touching their oppa.”

“Oh my God Mirim-ssi..I’m so sorry.” Suho said softly.

The dark haired girl looked at each and every member seeing that they all had a sorrowful look on their face upon hearing that she said.

“Guys it’s okay.” she tried to tell them all but none of their faces changed.

“Mirim-ssi..we are all really sorry for you to go through this. Getting hurt like that.. These sasaeng fans have been getting worse lately..” Luhan spoke up. The guys all nodded and agreed.

“Guys really. Things could of been a lot worse but I just have a few cuts and bruise. I’m not blaming you for anything. happens.” Mirim brushed off. “But I do want to say thank you. Thank you for bringing us here, thank you for being so nice..thank you for taking care of us.” Then Mirim’s eyes finally turned to Kyungsoo. “Thank you, it means a lot.” she finished.

The group all remained silent pondering on if their apology was really the most they could do. It didn’t satisfy the boy group at all, but they all smiled hearing Mirim’s thank yous.

As for Kyungsoo..he finally got what he wanted. She looked straight at him and his heart was doing the same as before..it hurt so much banging against his chest. Kyungsoo tried hard not to reach for his chest or hunch over. All he could do was swallow hard and keep calm. He let out a shaky sigh.

“OH CRAP” Mirim shouted looking at her watch.”Soomin-ah we have to go or we are going to be really late!”

“Ahh okay!” she panicked.

The two girls shot up and so did the boy group. “Whoa what’s wrong?” Luhan asked.

“We have some where we need to be, I’m sorry to just leave like this but we really need to leave now.” Mirm said hurriedly grabbing her stuff. Soomin did the same with hers and turned towards her two new friends and waved.

Mirim bowed 90 degrees for the boys and as Soomin turned from her friends seeing Mirim, she bowed down as well. “Thank you all again for this. I’ll never forget it.” she smiled as she came back up.

“Me too!” Soomin jumped up.

“Ah and Sehun-ssi, Jongin-ssi, please take care of Soomin-ah at school :)” Mirim turned to smile at the younger boys.

“Neh~” they smiled back and waved.

Just as the two were about to run off Suho stopped them. “Mirim-ssi wait!”

“Neh?”

“Look..I don’t know about the others but I’m not completely satisfied with leaving things like this. I’d like it if we could trade numbers incase you need anything. I feel like we should make things up to you some how.” Suho explained sincerely. Some of the boys behind them nodded with him.

Kris even found himself next to EXO-K’s leader. “I actually agree with that. No loose ends. There has to be something that makes our debt clear.”

Mirim internally rolled her eyes at Kris’ way of agreeing. He made it sound more like ‘I don’t ant to be in your debt.’ kind of thing.

She sighed but agreed and traded numbers with both leaders.

“Thank you Mirim-ssi. Maybe we will be seeing each other again.” Suho smiled as the rest of EXO came up behind him to say goodbye.

“I think we might.” Mirim smiled before the two girls ran off waving.

Once they saw that the two girls were gone, Kris and Suho turned around to see that D.O was still sitting on the couch.

“Kyungsoo-yah what’s your problem? You’ve been sitting there like a statue the whole time.” Kris asked with his annoyed tone.

“Why were you being so rude?” Suho asked as well.

The rest of the boys just looked at the lead vocal confused.

The owl eyed boy didn’t flinch at his leaders questions. He just continued to sit there for a second longer. “I did wrong. I’m sorry..but that girl has me on edge..” he half lied.

“Why?” Kai asked as he sat back down next to his hyung.

“I was just scared. I was hoping that she wasn't like the rest of them.” he answered coldly. “I don’t trust girls…”

His bandmates decided not to question him anymore. They all just sighed and shocked their heads at their friend. They all knew how traumatized he is, even though they found it very strange for him to act like this in front of a fan instead of professionally like he usually does.

As the EXO members chose to let Kyungsoo be, they missed a big element.

That element was how Kyungsoo really felt about Mirim…
