A/N: I'm finally updating. Wow...... Anyways there have been some changes to character Zhen Jia Lyn, her name is now Zhen Bao Yu.  Also, seeing as I'm in college and going to be busy (You guys: *in Fluffy's girl voice* We know you've said that soooooo many times!") so chapters will be shorter. 

Also the fans found out about Ae-Seok, which will be brought up......now.....

Xiumin was busy multitasking, he was playing with Ae-seok and looking up comedy bits and memes on the internet. Reading them out loud to his four-month-old child. Loving the sound of her laughter at the English comedy that he translated for her. They were listening to an old Lewis Black comedy. Did it have swearing? Lol yeah! Did he teach her those words? Also, yeah. Father of the year, amirite? Of course, I am. After it ended he put some music on for her so he could browse the web looking for the best K-gossip.

Unfortunately for him the top trending article was about him and Chen. To make matters worse it included Ae-seok. A scared Minseok opened the article and read it.

“Is Chen pregnant? SM’s manager refuses to confirm or deny the rumors. Even saying “It’s not your business” No other SM idols would talk about the topic either changing the subject or ignoring their fans. Recent photos have surfaced of Kim’s alleged pregnancy and of Minseok holding an infant. No one knows why Xiuchen would keep this a secret but a few Exotics have shared suggestions and reactions to the news.”  

He even saw the fan interviews.

“I’m sad they didn’t tell us. I guess I can kind of understand why they’d keep it a secret.” One said

“That would explain why I saw them at the doctors so many times.” Another commented

“How do you feel about SM management and fellow idols not saying anything.” An MC asked.

“I think that was very mature of them. It’s not their news to share with us and the new parents deserve their privacy. And honestly with all the bad things that has happened in the past to pregnant/gay males in Korea, who could possibly blame them?” One male ranted.

Xiumin appreciated the honesty in the fan. Fans like him, Xiumin wouldn’t have minded sharing this news with. On the one hand, he did feel bad for keeping his daughter a secret from his fans but he wouldn’t change it even if he could. It was for Chen and Ae-Seok’s safety and so Chen could finally get the rest he deserved.

He did more research to see want fans knew about Chen’s pregnancy and Ae-Seok. He even came across the video they made before Chen’s baby shower. He re watched it for a cute trip down memory lane. After the video, he took a deep breath and went to the comment section and of course, fans wrote about Chen possibly being pregnant. Most showed concern for him.

“Chen oppa, you look so sick *sad face* Please get some rest. Hope you feel better soon.” Comments like that gave Xiumin a sigh of relief.

Other comments were trying to proof Chen was pregnant.

“Notice how he’s sitting down and covering his stomach every time he’s shown? He’s clearly carrying a child. Just isn’t ready to let us fans in on it yet.”

The looked to Ae-Seok with a worried face. She looked back at him with a face of concern. She was laying on a pillow next to him. Cuddled gently under his arm. He looked as if he was about to cry.

“I can’t keep you a secret forever. I’m just so scared of the negative reactions.” Xiumin said as he cuddled his chubby face into hers. He turned off his laptop, put it on the ground. He then grabbed Ae-Seok off her pillow to place her on his chest. Taking deep breaths as he looked at the child. “Let’s see what Chen wants to do about this.”

Meanwhile Chen was with D.O and Lay making funny Instagram updates which included Chen singing, Lay dancing and D.O doing funny impressions of Chen’s soprano voice. All three laughing, having a great time. They started answering fan questions, well except for the ones that involved Chen’s pregnancy. They would be answered when Chen was ready. Luhan came in wearing a cookie monster outfit, eating vegetables to confuse fans.

Chen suddenly got an uneasy feeling. Maybe it was his newfound motherly/fatherly senses so he acted. Leaving the room while they weren’t filming to check on his family. He made it back to his dorm, greeting the other occupants of the room. Entering his shared room with Xiumin and their baby he heard muffled cries. Not from the baby but from his boyfriend.

“Xiumin hyung, what’s wrong?” Chen asked sitting on the bed next to him.

“We can’t keep her a secret forever.” Xiumin answered. “Plus, I think the fans know about her. What do we do?”

“I think it’s time we come clean.” Chen said. He held the baby in his arms, comforting her as if he knew she wanted him to hold her.

“Ok, How though?” He asked.

“We post a picture of the three of us. Give a little information about her, reveal why we kept it a secret and see how the fans react.” Chen suggested. That’s what they did. They ask D.O if he could take the picture for them. He agreed on the condition he could get a picture with her too.

It’s unknown whether it was just them getting a cute family picture in or that the weight of the secret is finally being lifted of their shoulders but Chen and Xiumin looked so happy in the picture. Finally, they were sharing the information with the public and couldn’t wait for the wave of positive reactions. Chen posted the picture to his weibo page with the caption:

“Her name is Kim Ae-Seok and she was born on December 21^st, 2013”

Xiumin’s caption read:

“We hid the Chen’s pregnancy in fear of crazy fans. We’ve experienced many traumas because of them. I didn’t want Chen losing the baby because of them. I thank you for the support exotics have given us and hope you understand our (mostly my) decision.”  

As the day went on their posts were flooded with support. More support than Xiumin thought. Hopefully the ignorant ones were keeping their comments to themselves. News channels were sharing their versions of the stories. One station showed Leeteuk as he was walking back to the dorms.

“How long have you known?” A cute young MC asked

“They told us about a week after they found out.” He answered. “We kept quiet about it because it wasn’t our news to tell. It was theirs.”

Other MCs were fanning over the baby saying how cute she is and how lucky she is.

“She’s a baby being raised by bigger babies.” A male MC stated.

“Ya got that right buddy.” Ae-seok sassed in her head. She wished she could speak and watch her parents get all excited about it.

Later that day Xiumin did a live video with Ae-Seok, answering questions and saying how he plans on becoming a “twitter dad.” Meaning he’d update the fans with funny things that Ae-Seok does. Stating his inspiration for this idea is Batdad.

The next day he posted his very first video. It was early in the morning and Chen was still sleeping. He had the batman mask on and was in the lower left corner and had the same expression.

“CHEN!” He yelled in a bat voice scaring his lover awake. “Where’s my breakfast?”
