The sound of loud knocks on my door had woken me up from my deep sleep. I really hope it isn't the landlord, he's been on my back for the past few weeks. Ugh. I slowly shuffled to the door, hoping that he might get the idea that I wasn't at home. But it just kept going and going, so I sped up bit by bit.

When I looked through the peephole it wasn't the manager. Just a little, angry brown girl. She looked like her head was steaming and her face was really red. Then she yelled, "Get out here, you bastard!" I jumped alittle bit. She had never cursed in front of me. Boy, was it frightening. I creeked the door open to look her directly in the face.

"Can I help you?" I calmly said, leaning on the door and trying not to fall over. She grabbed my by the front of my clothes.

"We need to talk! And your bull exterior will not get you out of this!" She was fuming. Maybe I shouldn't have opened the door...? She pulled me to the couch and threw me onto it. Her voice was so loud and she just kept yelling about random things. She then slammed the front door closed and approached me. "What happened that night two months ago? And tell me the truth!"

I jumped again, she's so terrifying and I liked it. I quickly stood up and exhaled deeply. "How can I answer you if you're yelling at me like this?! And how could I know?! I was as drunk as you were!" She crossed her arms and huffed
