"Nia, my dearest maiden, I love you with all my heart, will you be mine?" He asks holding my hand. He leans in closer to my face and...yells wake up??

 

"Wake up!" I open my eyes to see my overly hyper friend Chanyeol jumping up and down on my bed

 

"Leave me alone!" I yell at him as I push him off of my bed and he falls to the floor with an umpf  

 

"You have to get up we have school!" He yells at me and pulls the covers off of me and throws them on the floor. "Don't wanna" I say with my voice muffled by my super soft pillow.

 

"Niiiiaaaaaa, get up right now or I will get Tao to wushu your !" Chanyeol yells dragging me to the floor.

 

  "Here put these on" another voice I recognize as Ren says throwing clothes at my face  "Rude" I mumble as I head to the bathroom and take a shower.  You're probably wondering why they are in my house at this ungodly hour they force us to go to prison? Well, it's because when I was 9 or 10 my parents died and I inherited their house. I felt lonely so with their parents permission, they moved in with me. It's easy to say that this house is never quiet anymore. I get out of the shower wearing the outfit Ren chose for me. I make my way downstairs to see Xiumin at the oven cooking breakfast for everyone. I sit down at the island and Xiumin places a plate in front of me. We all eat quickly and head off to school. Since I don't live that far from the school, we make it to school extra early. We walk over to where we usually hang out in the mornings before school, under a tree on the lawn of the school. 

 

"Guess what guess what guess what?" Lay asks jumping up and down excitedly

 

"What?" I ask and he smiles

 

"It's my birthday next week! I'm going to be officially a 16 year old!" Lay says jumping up and down 

 

"Next week? Why didn't you tell us earlier! Now we don't have nearly enough time to plan a party for you!" Ren shouts throwing his hands in the air and falling into my lap dramatically. I laugh at him and his hair 

 

"Hey Lay, weren't you supposed to have tutoring this morning?" Jongin asks and Lay jumps up "Oh yeah! I almost forgot! That's for reminding me Kai!" He says hugging Kai and running towards the school building.

 

"So what are we going to do about Lay's birthday?" I ask and await replies

 

  "We could get him a real  unicorn!"

 

  "We could get him bubble tea, I bet he likes bubble tea!" 

 

"We should get him a panda, who doesn't like pandas?"

 

"We can just get him a stripper"

 

"Ren unicorns don't exist, Sehun you only want to get him bubble tea cause you want some, Tao he doesn't want a panda, and no we are not under any circumstances hiring a stripper Kai" I say and he smirks at me

 

  "Who said anything about hiring you got one right here" he says winking at me while grinding in the air. Before I can yell at him, the bell rings and we all head to class. I surprisingly have all my classes with Taozi.  "Hello class I am Mr. Breaksu and your teacher is absent today so you have these worksheets to work on." The sub says handing us 5 worksheets. 

 

"Can we work with partners?" A girl asks and the teacher nods. Tao is waking over to me when someone beats him to me.

 

"'Elo love I'm Harry but you can call me tonight" he says winking at me and I resist the urge to puke.

 

  "Yeah Airy how about I don't call you tonight and you leave me alone?" I say to him and he smiles "ooh feisty I like it" he says sitting in front of me

 

"Why are you over here?" I ask Him and he shrugs 

 

"I saw you and thought there goes my future wife" I smirk at him  "really? well when I saw you I thought oh great, my day just turned for the worst." He opens his mouth to say something but is cut off by me being pulled away from him. I turn my head and see Tao dragging me to another side of the room. We sit down and start the worksheets. I notice that Tao is unusually quiet and it scares me.

 

"Tao?" I ask but get no reply 

 

"Taozi?" 

 

"Panda" 

 

"Ziiiittttaaaaoooo" 

 

"Huang Zitao"  

 

"Tao please talk to me I'm sorry for whatever I didn't to make you mad" I say still getting no reply 

 

 "Huang Zitao, if you don't talk to me this instant, I will throw away all of your many panda plushies you stored in my room" I say and he looks at me shocked

 

 "You wouldn't?" He asks concerned and I shrug 

 

 "Try me" Is all I say before the bell rings signaling us to out next class

 

 -----time skip>>>>>LUNCH 

 

The bell rings signaling that it is lunch time. I walk to the lunch room with Tao and get a pizza, applesauce, and fries. Tao also gets the same thing and we head outside to our hangout. We are met there by Atom and Ren who are in almost all of the same classes. When all the others get there (except Lay), we start our normal conversation until Lay comes running in.  "Sorry....I'm...late....had...to.....talk....to...tutor" he says out of breath. I look at him and notice that he doesn't have a lunch with him. 

 

"Lay, do you have a lunch?" I ask him and he shakes his head. Before I can do anything, Xiumin passes the rest of his lunch to Lay

 

 "Here Unicorrn, you can have the rest. I'm full anyway" he says as Lay hesitatingly takes the lunch from him.  We are talking like normal until something or should I say someone just has to come and ruin it. That someone being Louis ing Tomlinson my worst enemy. Louis and I have never ever been able to get along. He would always bully Tao, he's the reason Tao's parents made him take wushu lessons. I glare at Louis when he walks over to us. 

 

"Oh looky here, we have the freaks let me introduce you to them" Louis says walking over to us with his goons Nathan, Liam, Niall, and Zayn.  

 

"Here, we have the freakish Cry baby Panda" he says pointing at Tao  

 

"The freak with a lithp Thehunnie" he says pointing at Sehun making fun of his lisp  

 

"The freaky girl.....Ren" he says making Ren look down  

 

"The creepy orange haired giant freak" he say pointing at Chanyeol  

 

"The Kai" he says pointing at Kai 

 

"The gay unicorn Lay" he says pointing at Lay 

 

"You, I don't even know what to say  bout you" he says pushing Atom to the ground making him fall on his hand and cry out in pain

 

 "And last but not least the queen of freaks...Nia" he says pointing toward me but I just flip him off. I look around me and see that they are crying or close to tears. I finally decide that is enough  

 

"Hey!" I yell at Louis as he and his friends start walking away. I get right in front of his face and slap him  

 

"What the is your problem? I don't give a if you mess with me but if you mess with my friends, that's when you cross the line" I yell in his face 

 

" please what the will you do to me?" He asks and I punch him in the face as hard as I can.  

 

"You ing ! I think you broke my nose!" Louis yells at me and I roll my eyes 

 

  "Don't with my friends" I say as I walk back to my friends and decide we are ditching the rest of the day. We walk back to the house. They all sit around the house all of them crying now. I walk over to Atom and take his hand in mine carefully. It is really swollen and purple. I take him into the kitchen. 

 

"Atom I think you might have to go to the hospital for this" I say pointing to his hand and he shakes his head. I know Atom is afraid of hospitals so I make a deal with him. I hand him and ice pack and 2 pain killers 

 

"If the swelling hasn't gone down in an hour and you're still in pain I will force you to go to the hospital" I say and he nods. I walk back into the main room with Atom in tow...this will be a long day. I think to myself.
