First Phone Call
Runaway Angel
“Shh. You guys are going to wake her.” A deep husky voice whispered.
“But noona is just to pretty.” Another voice pouted.
“Shh. Go go go. We have to go to our schedule.” Another husky voice ushered quietly.
“Aw. Can’t we wait until Dahee noona is awake? I feel bad that we’re leaving without saying ‘goodbye’.” A voice stated.
“Yah. Boys, hurry or we’re going to be late.” A voice ushered.
BAP heaved a sigh as they stepped away from the sleeping Dahee and made their way out of the dorm. They were up early to start their schedule while Dahee was still fast asleep or so they thought.
When the door finally closed, the angel slowly peeled her eyes opened. She sat up and turned to look at the front door.
A sigh escaped her lips as she turned back to look down at her blanket that was on her lap. “They’re up so early to do their schedule already.” She whispered sadly.
Then a beeping sound was heard.
Dahee looked around and saw her phone that was next to her. She had slept on top of it. Heck, she forgot that she even had a phone.
The angel picked up her phone and unlocked it. There was a message from Daehyun.
Just upon seeing his name, Dahee’s heart skipped a beat. The feeling was still foreign to her so she was scared to why she was reacting in such a way.
Cautiously, Dahee opened the message just like how BAP had taught her.
‘Sorry for leaving so early in the morning. Hope you’re not too bored today. If you are, just text us and we’ll keep you company. (:’ – Daehyun
A smile stretched across Dahee’s lip as she read the message.
It wasn’t much, but it did touch her heart though.
‘It’s okay. Have fun today and don’t overwork yourselves. ^^’ – Dahee
Daehyun stared at his phone with wide eyes. He just kept rereading Dahee’s message because he couldn’t believe his eyes what he was reading.
His literally felt like his heart was going to jump out of his body any time soon because it just kept bumping against his ribcage.
Never had he felt like this before and feeling it now was definitely something weird, yet nice.
A smile stretched across his lip as he read the message once more. Warmth spread throughout his chest. *Dahee, why is it that just by reading your short message make my heart race like this?*
“Daehyun hyung~” Zelo called bumping shoulders with the older male.
Daehyun looked up and quickly slid his phone into his back pocket before turning to Zelo with a smile on his face, “What’s up?”
“What are you doing here by yourself? Aren’t you hungry?” The maknae asked.
Daehyun let out a small chuckle, “Yeah. Let’s go eat.” He started to walk back to where the staff and the other BAP members were sitting and eating their breakfast.
Zelo scratched his head, “That was weird.” He shrugged, “Oh well. Better go use the bathroom.”
Dahee pouted as she flipped through the TV channels. She was bored, really bored.
“This is boring.” She sighed. Dahee turned to look at the window and she saw how clear the sky was.
An idea popped in her head as a smile crossed her lips. “It won’t hurt if I step out for a bit, right?”
The angel jumped to her feet and quickly rushed to the front door to only pause. She remembered that it was cold outside and not to mention, she didn’t have any shoes. When she and BAP sneaked out of the hospital she was only wearing the hospital clothes and their slippers.
Heck, she was still wearing the hospital clothes.
Dahee wrinkled her nose in disgust, “I’ve been wearing this for two days now. Ew. Dahee, you really need to shower.”
The angel backed away from the front door and went back to couch. She sat down and heaved a dejected sigh. “I’m so bored. I need to shower too.”
“I’m bored.” Jongup blurted as BAP sat around doing nothing since it was their break time.
“Me too.” Zelo said in agreement.
“Then go to sleep or do something.” Youngjae stated.
“But what is there to do?” Jongup asked as he turned to look over at the older male.
“Sleep.” Daehyun replied shortly.
“But I’m not tired.” Jongup pouted.
“Then go walk around.” Himchan stated.
Jongup heaved a sigh and stood up, “I’ll do that.”
“Oh, let me come with you too.” Zelo stood up and the two youngest members went on a walk around the building of course.
“Finally some peace and quiet.” Yongguk finally spoke up.
The other three members nodded in agreement.
“I think I’m going to go to sleep. I’m tired.” Himchan yawned as he closed his eyes.
“Same.” Yongguk said as he pulled his cap lower so that it covered his eyes. He crossed his arms over his che
