Kris looked at his handphone for the nth times. 78 missed call and 137 messages. It’s not that much. He don’t even look at the history as he already know who will text him like a mad man at that time.

‘Tchh,. Whatever,.’ – He shrugged before switching off his phone.

“Oh,.. My dear Yeollie,. Why are you here,??”

Mrs. Wu automatically hugged Sungyeol when she saw him on the door. She ushered the boy to get into the house.

“Mom,. Did Kris home,??”

Yeah, Mrs. Wu forced Sungyeol to call her as Mom and Kris even call Sungyeol mother as Omma. The same goes to their father. Their parents really approve their relationship and even eager to become in law.

The woman face drop.

“I’m sorry Yeollie,. But Kris is not home yet,.”

“He’s not,??”

“No,..”

And Sungyeol couldn’t help but feel sad and disappointed with a little bit of guilty.

“He seems different lately.”

Mrs. Wu added

“He doesn’t speak much. And he don’t even eat,. Mom is so worried,..”

Mrs. Wu walks to the kitchen. Leaving the poor soul that is feeling guilty alone.

“Did you want anything dear,??”

“No,. I’m going home,. Thank you mom,..”

Sungyeol run to the Mrs. Wu that is standing behind the kitchen counter. Give her a quick hug and a peck on her cheek before storming away.

Mrs. Wu chuckled. She kicks her right leg under the counter and soon enough, a globe of blonde hair stuck out from under the counter.

“What happened,??” she wriggled her brow.

“Nothing,. I just don’t wanna talk to him this moments,..”

Mrs. Wu laughs hard.

“Oh,. Look who’s decided to grow up,. Mom’s so proud of you. All this time, I taught that either you’re whipped or bottom but now you show me that you’re just as manly as your voice is,. Oh, you should know how weak you seem whenever you’re spazzing over Sungyeol.” – the old grown woman keep un rambled while wiping her imaginary tears. Kris scrunches his face in annoyance.

“What are you talking about mom.? Geez, you’re so embarrassing,..”

Kris scurried away from his mother.

“I’m proud of you son,. And you owe me an explanation,..”

“Oh and at least buy me cake for my marvellous acting,!!” she shout before Kris can reach his room. Kris groan in annoyance before buried himself in the mattress.

“I’m not whipped,. But I miss him,…”

“Ohh,.. Look who’s getting chocolate~~” Chen sing-song when Kris reach the table. It’s their reserve table since they always sit there since they get into Woolim High School.

“What,??”

“Oh,. Ge,. There’s chocolate in this table when we reached here and surprisingly it’s not for Luhan-ge but for you,..”  Tao explained while giggling.

“It’s cute,..” – He squeals again.

“Oh,. Shut up Tao,. And what’s so surprise that it’s not for me,? Maybe they had given up since they know I had Xiumin,. Right baozi,??” Luhan said before hugging the daylight of a certain baozi. He manage to makes a kissy face to the startled boy before he get shoved.

“Go away Luhan,. You’re weird,..” Xiumin scooted closer to Lay before put the unmoving boy arms around him.

“Now I feel safe,..”

“What,?? But,. But,. You can come here to me Xiumin hyung,. I can guaranteed your safety than that chips,..”

And suddenly, a chaos sparks.

“Now that’s rude,.” – Lay

“Baozi,. Come back to me,.” – Luhan

“Get away from me you chips,.” – Chen

“That action still seems cute for me Kris- ge,. I wanna taste the chocolate,..” – Tao

And Kris can’t help but sigh loudly.

“Don’t you want to stop them,??” Kris asked Xiumin as he’s the only one who can be considered as normal.

“Nah,. Not at this moment as least. They’re interesting this way,..”

Kris couldn’t help but rolled his eyes.

“And to taught you’re the oldest,..”

He whispered before turning his attention to the chocolate in his hand. The wrapping kind of familiar so Kris open the card that is attached on the top of the wrapping.

It’s already a week and there’s no hint that Kris will accept Sungyeol apologize. He just acted of course. When in reality he always giggled like a mad girl, squealing crazily and even laugh alone whenever Sungyeol do sweet thing for him (ie : making him chocolate every day, put card below his table, doodle his book that he left with ‘I’m sorry’ all over the page and his pitiful face whenever their eyes meet).

That morning, their class had a field trip (cliché I know). And to add in the excitement, they will be in it for three days two nights. And on top of that, Kris and Sungyeol get to be a roommate. With Xiumin as the third party unfortunately.

Everyone as in Hoya, Sungjong, Myungsoo and Luhan object it openly.

“I would never let it happen,..” – Hoya

“But Yeollie will be in danger when you put him with those 2 Exo’s.” – Sungjong

“Shift him with this Luhan princess,. I need to protect Yeollie from that Kris,..” – Myungsoo

“Hey,. I’m not princess and I just want to be with Xiumin. Only both of us will be good,..” – Luhan

“Sorry for that, boys. I’m not going to follow any of your ridiculous requests.” Mr. Choi said with his devious smirk.

“Now go before I let all of you sleep on the grass..”

And everyone – including their innocent classmates scattered to their respective rooms.

The said boy ignores the called. He keeps on busying himself on arranging his stuffed animals on the bed (God know how he managed to bring the stuffed animals on his seemingly small travelling bag).

Getting no response, Sungyeol walk slowly to Kris and hug him, burying his face on the boy chest. Kris just smiled slightly. Sungyeol is adorable whenever he want his attention. After collect himself from the euphoria, Kris pushed Sungyeol slightly.

“I’m busy,..”

“Sorry,..”

“……”

“Kris,..”

“…..”

Unable to keep calm, Sungyeol tugged Kris hand rather harshly.

“Kris,.. I am sorry ok,???” – Sungyeol is frustrated. That explains the increase in his volume.

And he almost smiles when Kris turns to his side.

“Ok Sorry,. As you know, I am Kris,. I hope we can be a good roommates then,..” Kris said while patting Sungyeol’s shoulder. He left the dumbfounded Sungyeol who in the verge of screaming.

The things that they don’t know, their other roommates had decided to shorten his time eating and come back faster that he said. And incredibly, he had heard everything despite the thick wall of the door.

“So,. Sorry and Kris eh,…”
