Kris felt something strange, his heart was beating faster than usual and he noticed his dragon tattoo on his arm glowing. He doesn’t understand why but he feels like he wants to come to her like there’s a sudden connection between them. He stood up from the bed and went to the balcony to look closely at the girl wearing simple white dress but the girl immediately runs inside the house. He felt disappointed and dismay that he didn’t see her face clearly. But then, he remembers the reason why they are here on Earth, to find the chosen one to kill her.

“I shouldn’t feel this way” He murmured while closing the door of the balcony but glances back where he saw the girl before he finally closed it and threw himself on the bed, staring at the ceiling thinking about her.

“Kris” Donghae peeks through the door checking him up if his okay.

“Ah, hyung why?” He asked as he sat up. Donghae fully open the door and walks inside.

“Nothing, I just want to check if you’re asleep. Here in Earth people sleep atleast 8hours everyday.”

“Ah, I see but I’m not sleepy I want to go outside to look around if it’s okay with you.” Kris asked

“No problem you can go outside whenever you want and so as the others. You’re free here on Earth but be careful while you’re outside. A lot of humans are now having a feeling that vampires are real because they believe that vampires are just fiction” Donghae explained and he nodded his head.

“Okay, I’ll check the others.” Donghae left the room and once the older closed the door, Kris immediately grabbed his jacket and went outside using the window. He jumped from it and run towards the forest. He stopped from running when he heard something. He hides himself on one of the trees there, observing the place.

Meanwhile, Yeon is also coming to the forest to get some fresh air since she felt something strange earlier to the boy next door. She carefully walk to the forest afraid that Siwon or Yoora might caught her sneaking out again just what she always do. She was holding a lamp and continues to walk when she accidentally tripped on one of the branches that fell from the tree.

“Ahh!” She fell on her still holding the one only source of light she has. She brings the lamp closer to her ankle and saw that it was bleeding. She also has some bruises on her right leg. She tried to stand up but failed, instead the lamp she was holding fall on the ground and now it was dark, thanks to the moonlight that serves as her light but not enough to see the area clearly. She was crawling to the nearest tree to stand up because her leg is badly hurt. She thinks that she got sprain her ankle and then she heard some noises near her.

“Siwon oppa? Yoora?” She called while crawling up to the tree and she successfully stand up by the help of the tree. She looks around to see if someone is with her inside the forest. She waited if someone will come out but no one comes out. She tried to walk but she felt a strike of pain coming from her ankle that’s why she ended up falling on the ground but before she could finally fall, a pair of arms snake around her small waist pulling her up so she could stand up. She looks up and saw a pair of red eyes looking straight at her. Her eyes grew wide and her body froze. She wants to scream but nothing comes out from but the most surprising is that person also looks at her with wide eyes.

Kris can’t believe what’s happening right now, he finally found the girl that they are looking for here on the forest. He just really want to help her but once he touch her, he felt the sudden electric shock that Master Li told them on how to know who’s the right girl and now here he is with that girl. His eyes immediately turn red because of the mission they have to do here on Earth and also because of the tasty smell of her blood.

“Who are you?” Yeon asked him with a terrified face.

“I will be your biggest nightmare” He answered and was about to bit her but something stopped him and again the strange feeling comes back to him. Instead of biting her he planted his lips to her. He kissed her passionately and Yeon’s eyes got wider. He stole my first kiss! She said into her mind while Kris is continuously kissing her. Her mind tells her to push him away but her heart said the opposite. Kris didn’t know why he’s acting like this towards her but all he knew is he wants her so badly. Even though they didn’t see each other clearly, both of them know that they have mutual feelings to each other. Kris pulled away and looks straight in her eyes.

“I don’t know who you are and why I’m feeling this way to you but I’m sure we have something, a connection that only the two of us know.” With that, Kris left her alone the dark forest. She touch her lips once he’s gone away, thinking who that man could be.

Kris runs quickly as fast as he could just to go away from her but his other side tells him to come back. He finally gets inside the house and he noticed that Luhan and Sehun are still in the living room watching tv with Tao who’s amazed by the house.

“Kris ge!” Tao called him but he ignores him and went to his room. He locked the door and shrugged his jacket off. His heart is still pounding until now and his tattoo is glowing again. That girl, I have to kill her but why I’m feeling this way that stopping me doing my mission. That was my chance but why? Kris thinks while looking at the window of the other house. She’s living beside us; she’s that girl I saw earlier at the balcony. I think Donghae is right. The protector is Choi Yoora.

On the other side, Yoora keeps pacing back and forth inside her room because she can’t find her best friend. She gets out of her room and saw her brother Siwon on the living room reading some papers.

“Oppa, did you see Yeon?”

“Nope, why?” Siwon asked tilting his head when the door burst open and reveal the injured Yeon.

“Oh my god!” The siblings immediately ran to her side to help her. They brought her to the couch and Siwon saw the wound on her ankle and bruises on her right leg.

“I’ll go get the first aid kit.” Yoora went to the kitchen where they store the first aid kit and medicines while Siwon noticed something is wrong with her.

“Is something is wrong?”

“………”

“Yeon-ah, tell oppa.” She looks at him and he immediately hugs Siwon. He was taken aback by her sudden action but gave in later and hugs her back.

“Oppa, I’m sorry for sneaking out again. I promise I will never do that again, please forgive me.” She cried and his heart softens.

“Nah, its okay but next time tell me or Yoora if you want to go outside. By the way, how did you get that wound?” Siwom asked and Yeon was about to answer, Yoora came in with the kit. Siwon let it go since he knows that Yeon will never tell him the truth but he knows that something happened to her outside and he has to know that.

“Tell me if this will hurt okay?” Yoora said while holding her legs carefully, placing it on her lap. Yoora starts to clean the wound with hydro peroxide and put some ointment before wrapping it with bandage while Siwon is just watching his little sister taking care of Yeon. The siblings live with Yeon since Siwon is just 10 while Yoora and Yeon are 6 years old. Their parents adopted Yeon since the she didn’t have any family or relatives after her parents died in a plane crash while traveling back to Korea from London. Since then, they treated Yeon as their sibling. Mr. and Mrs. Choi worked as researchers before they build their own empire C Enterprise but both of them got murdered by some extra ordinary creature and it said to be vampires because they found the couple had two holes on their necks. Since then, Siwon investigate about vampires since no one really believe to it. He found a super old book at their house in his parents vault; this book contains things all about vampire and the black pearl. Siwon didn’t know why his parents have it until someone came to him and tell him that his parents are vampires and Yeon is the girl who destined to be the guardian and protector of the black pearl that’s why he’s protecting her from other vampires that wants to get rid of her most especially the twelve guardians. He’s taking care of her not to the extent that he strictly prohibiting her to go outside and enjoy her life luckily, Yoora his sister is there to watch her move.

“Thank you Yoora.” She smiled at her and turned to Siwon who’s also smiling at her.

“I will carry you to your room, come on get on my back.” He bends on his knees. She was hesitating to move but Yoora put her arms around her brother’s neck. Siwon carry her to her room followed by Yoora.

“Go to sleep because tomorrow we’ll go somewhere.” Siwon announced and Yoora’s ears perked up.

“Really?! Woah, daebak. I just hope that Yeon and I will enjoy it not like last time which you brought us to a business trip. It was boring and we didn’t have a chance to go shopping.” Yoora scoffed and her brother laughs.

“Of course not, we’ll go to Jeju before class’s starts at Monday we still have two days so let’s enjoy it. So, let’s go to sleep because we will go at early in the morning.” Siwon clapped his hands while Yoora rolled her eyes.

“Two days? What can we do in just two freaking days?” Yoora left the room.

“Good night oppa” Yeon said

“Goodnight too Yeonnie” Siwon went to her and kiss her forehead before he left her room. Yeon tuck in her blanket but she can’t fall asleep thinking about the man she encounters earlier at the forest. Her heart starts to race again just thinking about him.

Meanwhile at Kris’ room, he can’t also fall asleep because his mind is filled with that girl that he didn’t even know the name but one thing is for sure their path will cross again and this time he will never let her go.
