She was scared. She's been scared her whole life. She was put in the witness protection program because she was a vital witness to the murder. But how could she ever feel safe. Not after everything that's she's seen. She's already been living this nightmare for 10 years. It'll never stop.
Foreword
The gunshot was still ringing clearly in her head.
Bang. Bang.
A body slumped on the floor.
She shuddered with fear.
She unconsciously screamed and desperately clinged onto the dead body.
How could this happen?
And then his eyes darted over to hers and she thinks she'll never forget. Never forget those cold eyes that stared at her with such viciousness. And that was the last thing she saw before she succumbed to the darkness.
