You instinctively felt for the thing while crawling on the ground.

You heard something that sounded like a meowing cat. You were a bit startled but that settled down as you felt a box or carton where the sound came from.

"Omo" you whispered as the cat meowed more often and louder. Due to the darkness your eyes couldn't tell where you or the cat were exactly. "Light, light..."you murmured, but then you had the idea. *Oh right, my phone has light, too* you groaned at your denseness. Quickly you grabbed your phone from your jacket pocket and turned it on. "Seriously, why didn't I think of it earlier?!" you cursed your dumbness. Yep, it was always like this. Finally you could make out the box with a kitten.

"Aigoooo~ how cute can you be" you chuckled at the adorable cat that didn't stop meowing.

Understandable, it looked like it hadn't any food for weeks. You started to pet it and caress it. "Haaah~ I can't leave you behind like this" you sighed and looked in its eyes. After some thinking you decided to take it home with you. "My mom is SO going to freak out when she sees you." you made a face and scolded the cat "If you poop in my room I will kick your , got that?"
