I stared at the scrolling words along the screen as I smoothed out the bottom of my skirt. I was nervous and though it looked like a simple task I was really wiping my wet palms on them. I chewed on my bottom lip lightly and glanced at Daehyun as he came up beside me. His fingers curled around mine before he brought my hand up to his lips and kissed them.

"Hyunmi-ah, relax." He smiled, "If you’re worried about being rejected, Babyz love you. They've expressed it in so many ways since we came out two weeks ago."

"I was once a fan." I smiled, leaning into him. "I know how crazy fans can be even if they seem happy but I'm more nervous of messing up and embarrassing you on TV."

Daehyun smiled softly and kissed my temple, squeezing my hand, while his other rested on my hip. "We’ve got a few minutes." He whispered, "But I can do most of the talking if you'd like."

I nodded, hiding my face in the crook of his neck. He was wearing the cologne I’d bought him and it made me smile against his skin. The other members had already told me not to worry, to be calm and some silly stories of their first times on tv, all in the hopes that I'd be able to get over my jitters. It'd lasted until they'd called the five minute mark.

"One minute." Someone called and we were ushered onto the small studio.

We sat on a plush couch and our host was getting settled and her make-up touched up. Bright lights and lots of cameras faced us and I felt like I was going to be sick. I was stiff and awkward but I didn’t know how to relax enough to look normal like Daehyun. I squeezed his hand tighter and focused on his side profile out of the corner of my eye.

"Thirty-seconds!"

I swallowed hard and Daehyun my hand lightly, glancing at me. "You'll be okay." He whispered as they counted down the last ten seconds.

I saw the ON-AIR sign flash on in the corner of my eye and panic rose up in me. I kept my gaze on our host. As she spoke, I smiled as Daehyun had told me. I focused on her and not the cameras. Her pretty face was a distraction and it helped a bit. Daehyun’s constant comfort of his fingers my hand helped also.

"So Daehyun how did you meet Miss Kim?"
