“Jagiya!” a deep male voice called out from the other room.

“Ne?” I called back.

“Where is your mother’s gift?” my husband called back.

“By the mini bar.” I answered, struggling to get our twin girls into their jackets.

“Sooyoung-ah, hajima. You need to wear your coat.” I stated sternly while trying to keep the other from running off from putting her own coat on.

“Omma, I don’t want too!” Sooyoung wailed.

“Omma, I don’t want too!” Soohyeon repeated. As the youngest, even of twins, she repeated everything her sister said or do. Regardless of if it was good or bad.

I sighed in annoyance, rubbing my temples as Seunghyun came walking into the room carrying the gift we’d gotten my mother for her upcoming birthday. We’d planned the day around spending it with them since next week we would be leaving the country to travel with Seunghyun for vacation paid by his company for the success of their international merger.

“Are you two misbehaving for your mother?” he chided. He squat down to be at their eye level and grinned as both girls shook their heads no furiously.
