Even the apartment doesn't look the same without the glow of your bubbly appearance. Instead it seems just as dark and depressing as the hole inside my heart. I don't dare sleep in our room. I can't. I find myself thinking of you and missing your body snug against mine. So I drag myself to the couch each night. It's uncomfortable but I get by.
