Weeks passed by, and it was another night of family game night. 

This activity started about two weeks ago, when Chanyeol and Baekhyun played a board game on Thursday, and they needed one more player, so they asked their mom and few workers to come and join.

It was a special night because everyone is having fun. 

"So what's the game today?" Baekhyun asked, and everyone is seated on the sofa. 

"Let's see the list," One of the maids said holding the list. "today is hide and seek, limbo and musical chairs."

They started with limbo, Chanyeol was more than happy to lay back and listen to the laughter since he wasn't able to play. He laughed when he heard Baekhyun groan because he fell on his bum. 

It was a few minutes when he felt his shoulders tapped. "Hey Yeol want to play?" it was Baekhyun.

"I can't, " 

"yes you can I'll help, please?" 

"and what advantage will it give me?" Chanyeol asked playfully.

"I'm doing the pouty face right now. hm hm. Can't you hear my cute voice? " Baekhyun said pouting.

Dammit, his voice was cute. Chanyeol thought. "fine." 

"yes" Baekhyun said knowing he succeeded. "Hey everyone, Chanyeol will play,"

Everyone started to cheer for the giant. 

Baehyun pulled Chanyeol towards the stick. "here, where you feel my hand thats's how low you gotta go" Baekhyun told poking Chanyeol in the middle of his waist. 

"okay," Chanyeol bent backwards. 

"here, I'll help," Baekhyun said holding Chanyeols back for support.

Chanyeol walked and felt the stick on his stomache. 

"it's okay keep going," Baekhyun told. And so he did. 

"yay!" Everyone cheered. "good job!" 

"you could stand up now, you did it!"  Baekhyun said excitingly and hugged Chanyeol.

"But you helped! So we both win Baek!" Chanyeol cheered hugging Baekhyun back.

 

After wards they played hide and seek with partners. And ended the night with musical chairs and dinner in the living room.

 

Everyone was already off to bed and it was Chanyeol and Baekhyun left.

"Come on, it's time for bed, tall person. " Baekhyun joked.

"you too, shorty." 

"shut up." He said guiding his brother.

Baekhyun helped Chanyeol to bed. "good night, Chanyeol."

"good night."     " Baekhyun?"

​"yea?"

"let's go eat tomorrow! "

"okay, " Baekhyun giggled at his brothers excitment. "and let's sit and relax in the park afterwards, "

"sounds good." Chanyeol smiled. "goodnight."

"good night. " Baekhyun said once again. He walks out the room and slowly closes the door. He turns around with a smile stuck onto his face and was greeted by his mother.

"mom you scared me!" Baekhyun said frowning.

"Sorry~" his mom apologized.

"it's okay, why aren't you in bed yet?"  Baekhyun asked.

"Because I'm so proud of you Baekhyun. " She said hugging him.

"Thank you mom"

 "no, thank you- so soo much. You're such a cutie pie, My Baekhyunnie grew up so fast. " She continued, pinching Baekhyun on the cheeks.

"MOM~ I'm not a little boy any more" Baekhyun whined.

"fine, just go to bed okay?" Mrs park gave Baekhyun a kiss on the cheek and afterwards received one back.

"good night mom"

"goodnight Baek. now go"  Mrs park said slapping Baekhyun on his bumm.

"mom!" 

"haha , sweet dreams honey." 

 

 

 

 

Jongin walks through the hall way, receiving death glares from everyone. He was that kind of person who doesn't care of what people thought, so he keeps walking. As he walks further through the hall, death glares became whispers. 

"heartless, " He heard one girl say.

"what an , " the friend replied.

Jongin just ignores, because he heard all these things before. He couldn't care less of what people say about him. He takes a corner turn and he could hear laughter. 

what are these people laughing about? 

First he thought it was just some stupid viral video that just came out, not until someone shouted his name.

"Hey Jongin!" one student called. Jongin looked at him and the guy lifted his nose and started to imitate a pig. Everyone laughed.

Again he takes a corner turn and there were posters of him. He closens to the nearest poster and takes a closer look. The poster was of him, a pig nose stuck onto his face and a big title which read "". He scans the hallways and these posters were everywhere.

"hey look it's that Kim Jongin guy! " one guy pointed.

"Oh the ! " more people started to come to mock at him.

Everyone crowded him.

"What the ! " Jongin shouted. He pushed his way out the crowd and runs to class. 

He barged in the room.

"Jongin you are late." The teacher said.

"sorry." He replies. Jongin was never so happy to come to class. He walks towards the table and realizes everyone is glaring at him.

"HEY PIG!" One student shouted across the class. 

"hahha, look at him , he's such a loser."

"How could you, heartless bastard."

Jongin just looks down and seated. 

"okay class stop it." The teacher shouted and continued with class.

 

 

When class was over, Jongin was the first to run out before everyone attacks him. He doesn't even know what's going on. He runs to the cafeteria and spotted his group. 

While he walked towards his table he spotted Xiumin. He quickly goes to him to ask what's going on.

"Hey Xium-"

"d-don't talk to me... I can't be seen with you" Xiumin said and ran.

"what?" Confused, Jongin continues his journey to the table.

 

"hey guys." Jongin greeted his friends.

Everyone looked pissed at him. Their faces were down, they looked disappointed.

Jongin takes a seat. 

"so what's going on, why are there pictures of me?" he asked, but no answer.

"why are you guys ignoring me?" 

"fine , I'll go find Jumyeon, maybe he could help me instead of my own friends. He banged the desk and stood up.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Sehun said, still not facing Jongin.

"what?" 

"I don't think he wants to be your friend anymore." Sehun told, eating his salad.

"What's happening?"  Jongin desperately asks. 

"I lost my appetite..." Sehun stood up and leaves.

 

"Jongdae?" Jongin called hoping for an answer. But he ignores.

"Baekhyun?" 

"Why are you guys ignoring me! " 

"I gotta go." Jongdae says. 

"me too" Tao announced.

And in seconds, Jongin was left alone with the stranger new kid, Lay.

Jongin sobs. He sits and hides his face. When he looked up he could still see Lay sitting with him.

"What?" Jongin asked. "you want to leave too? Go ahead you have my permission.

"No, I don't care about the rumors. No one deserves this kind of attention" Lay says softly.

Jongin sniffs. "w-what's going on, I-I just came to school and everyone is acting like i'm some type of terrorist.

"someone showed a video of you abusing animals. But I don't think it was you."

"what?" Jongin said confused.

"Animal abuse is really hated in this school."  Lay continued.

"B-but I didn't,"

"Well, he told everyone that you forced him to help you beat up the animals. He said that you moved to this school to start new."

"he who?"

"He, Jumyeon. Wasn't he an old friend of yours. You guys use to live in the same neighbourhood and go to the same school." Lay facted.

"Why would he do this? I never abuse animals! I have one.."

"I know it wasn't you."

It was a few seconds of silence. Jongin just thinks of the situation.

"What's your name?" Jongin asked.

"My name is Yixing but you could call me Lay."

"you probably know my name... It said on those pig posters." Jongin said with a hurt laugh. He then spotted a badge on Lay's suit. It was the same badge he had from dancing school. "you like to dance?"

"yea," Lay smiled.

"me too.. we should practice together sometimes.." Jongin gifted back a friendly smile. "Do you know what class Jumyeon has next?"

"yea we both have biology next." 

"I got to go then.." Jongin informed. 

Jongin stood up and scoots the chair under the table. "oh and Thankyou Lay."

"My pleasure." Lay smiled and continues to eat his pudding.

 

 

Jongin walks around the hallway near the biology lab. He spots Suho and runs.

Suho, shocked was grabbed by the collar and pushed against the wall.

"How could you!" Jongin screams. "How could you tell people about me. I thought we were friends." 

Jongin gave a hard punch on Suho's face. 

Whiping his bleeding lips, Suho spoke. "how could we be friends? how could we after that incident?"

"I thought you forgave me!"

"You said sorry after 7 years of hiding from me?"

"it's hard to say sorry.." Jongin said.

"And do you think it's that easy to forgive! I thought you were my friend back then, I'm just repeating what you did to me!" Suho pushed Jongin off of him and punched him on the face too.

Holding his bruised cheeks, Jongin tried regaining his memories. "I didn't tell people you abused animals! Jumyeon, it was just one small rumor that went wrong, I didn't mean it."

People started to crowd them. 

"You don't get it. I forgave you then about the rumor thingy, but that's not what I'm mad about!"  Suho shouted.

"So what are you mad about!" 

The fist fight continues.

A teacher comes and stops the fight. 

"I will never forgive you Jongin..." Suho says before they were both sent to the principles office.

 

 

Both seated in the principles office after they were lectured.  

"Now I'll leave you two alone to talk about your problems" The principle said leaving the room.

"..."

They both seated quietly, coughing or groaning from pain.

"Jumyeon.. what did I do?" Jongin asked.

"You killed my bestfriend.. "

"wasn't I your bestfriend?"

"yes" Suho faces down. 

"what? "

"you don't remember? When you accidently spreaded that rumor I forgave you. But people still made fun of me, and you became popular. You took advantage of that." Suho said, still in pain. "but then you lost Cookie."

"I didn't mean too."

"but how you apologized to me was crap. You apologized as if Cookie was nothing, you didn't care you just let him run."

 

 

"Suho do you live in a farm?" One of the kids said. It's been going on for week all Suho could do was look down in embarrasment. 

He saw Jongin with the girl he liked. "Hey Jongin! " Suho called out, he walked towards Jongin.

"Ew. Jongin you hangout with the pig guy?" Jongins crush said.

Suho didn't care, because for all he knows that Jongin will not take her side and defend him.

"n-no, I'm not his friend." Jongin replied. Suho was broken.

 

Suho sobs at home. The bell rings and it was Jongin. 

"hey ," Jongin whispered from Suhos bedroom door.

"what do you want fake friend?" Suho cries.

"I'm sorry.." Jongin sits on Suhos bed. "I spreaded the rumor by accident. I didn't know she would tell anyone."

"What?"

"When you told me to talk to her so she could like me back, I was trying to make a joke about you to be funny. I told her you were like a pig but she took it seriously.."

"Why did you take her side?" Suho asked still mad.

"Because I'm stupid," Jongin smiled.

"yes you are.." 

"I'm sorry. Bestfriends?" Jongin held out his pinkie.

"forever." Suho then curved his pinkie around Jongins.

 

Even though they were best friends again, everyone still mocked Suho. He was bullied so much he had to move.

 

"Hey Jongin could you take care of Cookie while I go?"  Suho asked from the cellphone.

"of course."  Jongin said.

..

When Suho was back home, he saw Jongin outside his house holding a leash but Cookie wasn't tide to the leash.

"w-where's Cookie?" 

"I-I'm sorry "

 

 

"oh." Jongin hushed.

"you remember?"

"I-I did care. I loved Cookie. " Jongin said.

"Why'd you lose him so easly?"

"because I never got the chance to explain.. " Jongin said. "will you give me the chance now?"

"fine." Suho whispered angry.

"You didn't know how hard it was to take care of Cookie. First I had to beg my mom if I could come by your house to take care of him. She said no, but then I told her that I would do all the chores. I was 14 back then, chores were really hard." Jongin huffed.

"When I walked to your house, I was hit by a bike- yes the scar on my knees you asked about back then, I got it because I was on the way to take care of your dog.

When you were out with your family, Cookie kept on whining so I took him for a walk. Then..there was a bunch of teenagers older than me. They asked me where my house was.There was three of them, older and taller than me. " Jongin said almost scared. He felt like he was re-living the time.

"T-they said if I didn't tell them they would beat me and Cookie up. I refused , I wouldn't tell them.  They snatched Cookie and started too hurt him, so I threw rocks on them. I grabbed Cookie really quickly and let him go, I thought he was going to run inside your house but instead he ran far. The teenagers started to beat me up, even with a stick but your neighbour came and got rid of them. I searched for Cookie till the sun went down... b-but I never did." 

"Sorry Jumyeon.."

Jumyeon did not answer what so ever. It was silent and in the end there was no answer still.

 

 

Back in the restaurant, the well-known breakfast house. 

Baekhyun and Chanyeol waited for their orders as the chatted about the upcoming school concert they were preparing for.

"hi I'm Xiumin I'll be your waiter." 

"I know your name Xiumin, " Baekhyun laughed. "and didn't we order already?"

"yea you did, it's just an excuse to talk to you guys" Xiumin smiled.

"where's Jongdae, Haven't heard from him?" Baekhyun asked.

"oh he was at school today"

"I mean the restaurant , where is he, doesn't he work here?"

"He quitted since he got his new car." Xiumin said disapointed, knowing he was the one who gave Jongdae the money. "oh I got to the kitchen see ya guys"

"bye" both Chanyeol and Baekhyun said.

 

After they finished eating, they went to sit in the park.

They laid against their old tree. Baekhyun told and decribed the scenery, while Chanyeol listens.

"now the kid with the red shirt pushed blue down the slide." Baekhyun giggled, enjoying the view himself.

"haha," Chanyeol gave a small laugh.

"the end.."

"Baekhyun? "

"yes yeol?"

"why are all endings sad?"  the giant asked.  "it's only happy in between the stories."

"where did you get that idea from?" Baekhyun asked curious.

"in the end of everyones ending, we leave the people we love broken. Isn't that sad?  "

Baekhyun looks at Chanyeol with saddened eyes. If Chanyeol thinks happiness only comes in between stories, what does he think of his story?

"Chanyeol, are you happy?"

"is that even a question? You, mom , Sehun and everyone around me.. you guys are my happiness." 

Baekhyun smiled. "Happy endings do exist Chanyeol. Because even though you leave the ones you love broken, you left them loving you forever..."

"and when they die, they die knowing that you love them, and they love you.  You will be sealed in there hearts forever. "

"My Baekkie is so good with words." Chanyeol smiled. "thank you for making me believe in happy endings."

"your welcome." 

...

"I love you."

"Love you too diva"

"shut up yoda"

"haha..."

 

 

 

It was the day of the concert. Finally all the work Baekhyun and Chanyeol have put in will be preformed.

 

Jongin hides his face in his hoodie and enters the concert hall. There was so many people, he could not get caught, so he puts on a mask over his lips and sits in the back row where he could be less noticed. He seated and crossed his arms.

 

"hi everyone! " the host greeted the audience. Everyone sat quietly to listen. "This is the day everyone was waiting for! The day that only comes once a year and the day to show the hidden talents the schools have!"  "welcome to 2014 Seoul high-school concert"

Everyone cheered.

 

Jongin watches the concert. The first few were instrumental and singing talents, but there was one dance group. 

He observed the dancers, how happy they were to dance. It's been along time since he did. He wishes he was the on up there dancing, but eveyone would force him of the stage.

Jongin smiles.

"Hey.." he looks up and it was Sehun and next to him was Tao. 

"arnen't you guys suppose to be dancing later?" Jongin asked.

"We need you, after all you taught us the dance months ago, maybe you could join us." Tao said.

"but everyone hates me." 

Sehun and Tao gives his an understanding look. "umm we got to go.. backstage"  Sehun gives Jongin a friendly smile.

Jongin could see that it was a smile of apoligy. He gives back a forgiving smile, sealing their friendship. "thank you guys." He said befre they could leave. They both nodded and walked away.

 

When the dance was done, it was announced that Sehuns dance group next to perform. Everyone cheered cause they were the best dancers known- including Jongin himself but who would want to see him now?

Jumyeon comes out too, he was also part of the group. He walks toward the mic and taps it.

"hello everyone.. the first part was suppose to be a duo with me an Lay dancing but I don't deserve to be on this stage tonight."  Jumyeon says. "Jongin..." he calls out. "I could see you back there." 

"booo," Everyone looks back and mocks at him.

"" Jongin whispered, he stands up to leave.

"wait, " Suho said stopping Jongin from leaving. "Everyone! Stop!  the rumor wasn't real, Jongin loves animals. He has one himself, no he's no , please treat him well. I spreaded the rumor because I wanted to get revenge but I realize I was wrong. Jongin.. I mean Kai" He smiled.

Jongin smiled, when he heard Suho call him by his nickname. Now he knows how sorry Suho was, because Suho only calls him that when they were best friends.

"Kai.. Come up here and dance, I don't know the dance well but you do. You and Lay should do the Duo entrance. " Suho said. "Come up here."

Everyone was silent. Jongin walks up to stage and everyone still seemed a little confused and mad.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Kai ! "

....................................................................one clap....two claps.. cheers..........................

 

Now Jongin knows everyone will accept him. 

"welcome back " Lay winked. 

The music started, Jongin and Lay started the dance and afterwards the rest of the group came to dance. 

By the end of the dance, Jongin grabbed Suho by the wrist and told him to come and join for the finishing. 

When they were done the audience cheered.

"Stories are meant to be told, "

"Don't be scared Baek, It's not as scary" Chanyeol said trying to comfort Baekhyun.

"how would you know? you can't see the audience" Baekhyun replied.

"but I have more chances of messing up." Chanyeol smiled.

 

"and next Baekhyun and Chanyeol. "  The host announced.

Baekhyun was now more worried. They only had two minutes to stay backstage.

"breathe Baek. I know we could do this together" Chanyeol said in a happy tone, hoping it will cheer Baekhyun up.

"yea we will.." Baekhyun smiled.

"goodluck." 

"goodluck."

 

Baekhyun holds Chanyeols arms to guide him onto stage and he looks at the audience. There were so many.

They both seated on the stool and prepared their mic and wires. 

"h-hello everyone" Baekhyun  greeted. "we'll be performing love song by bumkey."

"1..2..3" Chanyeol whispered and strummed the first string.

"stop." Baekhyun whispered. 

"what's wrong Baek?" 

"I can't do this.."

"yes you can. Show them that you can Baekhyun. Or show me, as an older brother you show me a good example" Chanyeol convinced. It didn't concinve him that much but he decides to say the last thing he could think off. "Baekhyun.. Practice like you're performing. Perform like your practicing." 

"your right thank you yeol.." Baekhyun holds his mic  "umm sorry everyone , technicle difficulties, now we shall start."

Baekhyun starts to sing. 

Again Chanyeol feels the same feeling as if they were in practice, like they were perforimg to his moms friends, and the time they were auditioning.

...

The song ended. 

Once again, they heard loud cheers.

Baekhyun adn Chanyeol stood up and bowed. Baekhyun looks at Chanyeol and holds his hand, and decides to do one more bow hands in hands with his brother.

When they went backstage, Baekhyun couldn't stop talking in excitement. "We did it!! We were so cool!!" 

"yea" Chanyeol just laughs at the older male. He then recieved a hug.

"thank you so much !"  Baekhyun said under Chanyeols chest.

"thank yourself too Baek, we couldn't have done it withouth each other." 

 

The concert continues. Afterwards Baekhyun sings another song with Kyungsoo, moonlight. Kris and Tao makes a cheography with wushu in it, Sehun dances with Jongin, Jumyeon and Lay. 

It was a night they can never forget.

 

 

 

"yes, yes , yes!!" Chanyeol can hear Baekhyun scream from downstairs. He wonders what Baekhyun could be happy about- he never heard Baekhyun so happy after the concert that took place 2 weeks ago.

 

Mrs Park enters the living room where Baekhyun was excitingley screaming 'yes'. 

"what's going on Baekhyun?" Mrs Park asked curious. 

 

"Dad said I could move back to California with him! Finally!" 

"what?"

Hello! I'm sorry but I won't be updating for 2 weeks :( My exams start tomorow on the 26th. But! I have good news. I wrote the next chapter half way through and who knows I could finish it and then post in between the weeks.
