Minseok fell in love.
He couldn't fathom why, or how, or even when, but it happened nonetheless.
And, surprisingly, he didn't mind.
He'd fallen in love with things before: certain delicious foods, a song, dancing.... But all of those loves were small. Not even all of them bundled together could amount to how much he felt now.
At first, he had a hard time comprehending it. There's something strange... Unearthly even... About how much pure emotion can be felt towards one person. But it happened. And he accepted it without question.
Of course, he was the only one who knew about all of this magnificent love bottled up inside of him. Even the object of his feelings was unaware. Even though this object sat not 20 feet away, every once in a while even looking at Minseok.
But also, of course, Minseok knew that that look which was so filled with happiness and affection was not meant for him alone. It was meant for the audience as a whole. Because this boy was a performer, and Minseok was only an observer.
The boys stage wasn't a big one- just a small, raised concrete platform on the side of the street- and the audience was sized to match, but his voice as he sang along to an accompanying guitar was.... Perfection.
Minseok knew that he shouldn't have fallen so hard for this boy. He knew it was extremely likely that his heart would be shattered into a million little pieces, like a mirror. Each sharp fragment reflecting his weakness back at him. But all of these thoughts came afterwards, when it was too late.
He was in love, no matter how irrationally.
