Quicksand
Description
Cha Jaekyung is not your ordinary 17-year-old teenage girl.
She sees things, hears things, feels things, things that most normal individuals would not.
Jaekyung's parents were both murdered by an unknown group of sadistic people, leaving her feeling bitter and indifferent towards others. Kyungsoo and Jaekyung suspect that the people who caused her parents' deaths were loan sharks, as the Cha family had been in debt for quite some time.
Byun Baekhyun, Jaekyung's deceased boyfriend, was also killed in the process. This really fired Jaekyung's contempt for man. Lost in a sea of death, she loses a part of herself and is dug out hollow.
Everything that had happened ultimately resulted in Jaekyung's distrust of people- with the few exceptions of Kyungsoo and his closest friends.
So, what happens when two of these close friends, both with contradicting personalities, begin to leave an imprint on her?
Will Jaekyung learn to, perhaps, trust... to love... again?
Or will she forever be trapped in the quicksand that is life?
A/N: This story begins in December 6th of 2013, and the following characters are all in their third year of high school.

-Acerbic to strangers

-Her best friend/boyfriend was Byun Baekhyun, but he was killed as well
-She's quite beautiful, really, and many guys try and win her over but none appeal to her
-Appears as a stone-cold and sturdy girl on the outside, but on the inside she is still broken
-Kyungsoo's little sister who he loves very much
Cha Kyungsoo//17 years old (D.O. from EXO)
-Very caring
-His birthday is 01.12.96
-He never likes to leave Jaekyung alone in fear of losing her
-His best friends are Kim Jongin and Park Chanyeol, who also care for Jaekyung
-Very detailed in everything that he does
Park Chanyeol//18 years old (EXO)
-Chanyeol went to school a year later than everyone else, which is why he is one year older than them
-His birthday is 11.27.95
-Always optimistic about life
-Constantly attempts to cheer Jaekyung up, and does a good job at it
Kim Jongin//17 years old (EXO)
-A somewhat mysterious character- to strangers at least
-His birthday is 01.14.96
-Very open, talkative, and sympathetic when talking to his close friends
-Secretly in love with Jaekyung, but not even Kyungsoo knows

Quicksand- the more you attempt to free yourself, the deeper and deeper you will fall in.
And the more and more you'll be trapped.
