Mood Swing #1
Bits and PiecesRough Morning
“Ryeonggu,” Kyuhyun loudly called, shaking his husband awake.
Ryeowook’s eyes slit open and he rolled onto his back, his brows furrowed as he looked over Kyuhyun, who was nearly completely dressed already.
“Come on, you’re going to be late. I’ve been trying to wake you up for nearly an hour now,” Kyuhyun informed him.
Ryeowook scowled, still tired from their hectic schedule. He couldn’t fall asleep right away the night before and probably hadn’t gotten more than three hours of sleep. When he turned his head to look at the alarm clock, this heart began to race and he jumped up.
“Kyu! I should have been up ages ago!” Ryeowook said, cursing as he flung the covers off him and rushed towards the bathroom.
“That’s what I just said,” he mentioned, buttoning his jean shirt.
“You should have forced me out of bed, now I’m running late!”
“I tried to wake you up several times,” Kyuhyun explained.
“You could have pulled me out of bed or something,” Ryeowook said, stripping off his clothes in the bathroom and starting up the shower.
“Because I like starting fights first thing in the morning,” Kyuhyun pointed out.
“Do I look happy to you right now?” Ryeowook asked,
“There is still a chance you’ll want to to relieve stress later,” Kyuhyun mumbled to himself, knowing better than to actually answer that question.
“I’m so late!!!” Ryeowook squealed, already in the shower, cleaning up.
“Do you want something to eat?”
“No, they’ll have something to snack on at the studio,” Ryeowook threw back. “Just make some coffee.”
Kyuhyun was eager to leave the bedroom to his cranky husband. After being around each other 24/7 of late, just having a few minutes alone was a nice reprieve. It wasn’t that he hated spending all his time with Ryeowook…it was that he hated spending all his time with Ryeowook when they were being shipped from one country to another, staying in hotels every other night, lacking sleep, juggling album promotions and their day jobs, and otherwise under a lot of stress. Kyuhyun loved his husband with all his heart, but there were moments Ryeowook could be a little dramatic and this morning, he could tell, was going to be one of them.
Kyuhyun made himself a quick breakfast and even made Ryeowook some toast—just in case—and poured him some coffee. He was in the middle of eating when his husband walked out looking abnormally put together and y for someone who claimed they didn’t have any time to get ready, but he was wearing a floral sweat suit that normally he wouldn’t be caught dead leaving the house in. It was similar to one he’d worn in promotions last year for SJM and he liked it so much, he just had to order one for himself at home. Still, he only wore it at home.
Kyuhyun watched as Ryeowook sat down at the table across from him and began munching on his toast. For a moment, they were both silent, but finally Kyuhyun had to ask, “You aren’t going to wear that to Music Bank are you?”
“Yep.”
“Are you ting me?”
