"Hurry up, Hurry up!!"

"Don't run so fast or you'll fall"

"Come on, the fireworks are gonna start soon!!"

"Okay, Okay"

"Look, look it started"

"Come here"

"Haha thank you, i can see better now"

"Hey kid"

"Yeah"

"Your growing up so fast"

"I know, before I know it I will be able to drive"

"No matter how old you'll get you know I love you and I promise I'll protect you and be with you forever"

"Haha I love you too M-"

"MINHO-O-oooo" I was panting now, the dream wasn't a  nightmare but I felt abandoned and sick to my stomach

"Kid!!Kid!! What happened" Minho ran into my room holding me

"Minho, why didn't you protect me like you promised?" I felt lighted headed and out after that

Minho's POV

"Minho, why didn't you protect me like you promised?"

Taemin than passed out in my arms. Why didn't I protect him. Why couldn't I protect him?

"Minho, Minho" Key was screaming at me what happened

"You want to know what happened?"

"Yes that is what I've been asking you"

"I couldn't protect him like I promised, that's what happened"

"What?"

"Taemin..I..we are done. That's it, he doesn't need me in his life again. It would be best if I left"

"MINHO!! Taemin could regain his memory so it's fine" Onew said stepping forward

"It's not that, it's not the fact that he could regain his memory" I couldn't explain it to them that I couldn't protect him and even if he did regain his memory I couldn't look at him knowing I couldn't keep him safe

"Minho your being stupid" Key said grabbing my shoulder

I shoved him off, I was mad at me, myself "KEY!! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU PROMISED JONGHYUN THAT YOU WOULD PROTECT HIM AND THEN FIND HIM IN THE HOSPITAL WAKING UP AND LOOKING YOU RIGHT IN THE EYES WHILE ASKING WHY YOU LET HIM GET HURT?"

Nobody was talking now and they all looked at the ground. "I can't be with him or live with him without looking at his face, at his eyes and remember that I let him almost die"

"Minho" Onew stepped forward "I think Taemin will be more hurt if he regains his memory and you push him to the side like everything you guys had was nothing. Your being selfish thinking about your own feelings. If you leave him he will feel abandon and hurt. Do you want him to feel more pain?"

I didn't know what to do. I couldn't abandon him but I just couldn't face him. "I don't know, I'll just let him live. If he finds someone new then I won't stand in his way and try to hold onto him"

I walked over and stared out the window watching the cherry blossoms fall from the trees in the crisb sunlight of May. It was only a few more days until our aniversity. When been together since 2008, May 23..2 years and now after these 2 years I might just have to move on.
