That night, Eunsung asked for the manager’s permission to go out. Of course, he wasn’t please with her request but permitted her to go nevertheless. She put on a scarf around her neck to hide her face although she hasn’t debuted yet.

It was just a 10-minute walk to Han River but since it was night, she can’t find Junyoung easily. She jumped when someone tapped her shoulder.

“Oppa! Kamchagiya!” Eunsung laughed as she hit his arm playfully.

“Let’s go,” he said wrapping his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to him.

“Where are we going?” she asked.

“To a café, it’s cold here.” He said.

“You should have just asked us to meet at the café,” Eunsung said.

“How was your training?” He asked.

“I’ll debut soon.” She said cheerfully.

“Jinjja? Hmm…”

“Wae?” Eunsung asked and Junyoung smiled.

“Not-Let’s go over there.” He said and changed their direction. Eunsung looked behind her shoulder to see a group of girls walking toward them. However they didn’t notice the couple yet.

“Why? Are they your friends oppa?” Eunsung asked.

“No.” he answered and tugged her wrist so she’ll walk faster.

“Then why are we avoiding them?” she asked, confused.

“We are not.” He said.

“Eh? Yah! Yoo Junyoung!” One of the girls shouted. Eunsung turned around to see the three girls approaching them. Junyoung let go of her hand and turned around.

“Oh, Saemi yah.” He greeted with a smile.

“Annyeong, Junyoung ah.”

“Minyoung and Joori, annyeong.” He greeted.

“Annyeong.” The two girls replied.

“Who is that?” The girl in the middle whom Eunsung assumed as Saemi asked.

“She’s Go Eunsung, my friend.” Eunsung frowned at the word friend but plastered a smile.

“Eunsung ah, that’s Minyoung, Saemi and Joori.” He said.

“Nice to meet you.” Eunsung said with a smile.

“Nice to meet you too…” the girl replied.

“What are you doing here at this hour?” Saemi asked.

“I was going to meet a few of my friends with Eunsung.” He lied smoothly.

“Oh, okay…have fun.” Saemi said with a disbelief look on her face.

“Okay, see you later.” He said and walked away. Once they were out of earshot, Eunsung turned to him.

“Why did you lie?” she asked.

“Come on, don’t be like this.” He said.

“What are you hiding from me, oppa?” she asked.

“This is for your own sake. I thought you said you are debuting soon.” He said. Eunsung softened.

“Mianhae oppa,” she said and Junyoung smiled. They entered the café and had a pleasant date.

“I’m dead, I’m dead, I’m dead!” Eunsung said as she rushed to the dorm. It has been 10.30 pm and she hadn’t realized it. She hoped the manager was out or something. She opened the door to see an empty living room. She heaved a sigh and made her way to the dorm.

“Everyone needs to be in the dorm by 10 pm.” A cold voice said.

“Chesonghamnida, unnie.” Eunsung said and bowed a little at Sehee.

“Are you really serious in debuting?” she asked.

“N-ne…” Eunsung answered.

“Then break up with your boyfriend.” She said.

“Ne?” How in the Earth did she know about that?

“You’re not supposed to have a boyfriend.” Sehee said crossing her arm.

“But-but I can’t just break off like that…” she said.

“I’ll tell the president.” Sehee stated, challenging the younger girl to go against her word.

“Give me time…” Eunsung said.

“Three days from now.” She said and Eunsung eyes widened. What is she going to do now? She looked at Sehee who climbed down from the bed and answered the phone. As she walked passed her, Eunsung sweared she heard a man’s voice calling her ‘honey’.

“What’s wrong, unnie?” Yumi asked as she saw Eunsung sighed. “Was it that hard?” she asked.

“Oh, it’s not that…” Eunsung said with a smile. She found Yumi was very likeable and she is the one that talked to her the most. She decided to tell her about her problem.

“You have a boyfriend?” Yumi gasped.

“Shh.” Eunsung said as she glanced around. The dance instructor was out and Yumi was kind enough to help her with the dance steps while the other girls went to vocal and etiquette lessons.

“Sehee unnie found out and she told me to break up with him.” She said.

“Oh…”

“What should I do?” Eunsung asked. It might be weird, asking someone that was 2 years younger than you for advice. But it was very important for Eunsung.

“You can just pretend to break up with him.” Yumi shrugged.

“Why didn’t I think of that….” Eunsung mumbled and Yumi laughed.

“But Sehee unnie tends to know things. You have to be very natural when you lie to her later…” Yumi said.

“Hmm…” Eunsung thought.

“But unnie, we’ll have to return our phones to the manager though.” Yumi said.

“What?”

“Of course we have to, I thought they have told you about this.” Yumi said.

‘So much things to adjust to…’ Eunsung thought.

“We have to pretend to break up?” Junyoung asked and she nodded. They were in a café near the Han River and Eunsung had just told him about the break up things.

“We can’t contact each other. No, you can’t contact me. Since I’m giving my phone to the manager maybe he’ll read the messages.” Eunsung said.

“Okay…” Junyoung said and squeezed her hand.

“Don’t worry. This is your dream, so you have to give the best.” He said. Eunsung’s heart fluttered as he kissed her on the forehead.

“I’ll go first.” Eunsung said and he nodded.

“Take care,” he said.

"I love you," Eunsung said shyly and Junyoung laughed.

"I love you too," he said. After Eunsung walked out from the café, another girl entered.

“Youngmi yah,” Junyoung smiled as he kissed her cheeks. Youngmi giggled and sat next to him.

“What are we going to do today, oppa?” She asked.

“Do you want to watch movie?” Junyoung asked and she nodded.

“Okay,” he said as he finished his drink and walked out from the café, hand in hand with Youngmi.
