Dinner preparation was done and all of the members gathered around the table to eat. Thanks to Eunji’s bright personality, it was easier for her to adapt to Apink. Needless to say, it was like as if she had known the members for a long time. Eunji also somehow managed to bring the other Apink member closer with her ridiculous and sometimes really terrible jokes. The members always find it interesting when she accidentally replied something in her Busan accent.

Out of all the members, Naeun was the one who found it the most interesting. Since Naeun is from Seoul and so are her relatives, the Busan accent for really foreign to her. She was so fascinated at how cute Eunji sounds like when she spoke with an accent.

~the next day~

The Apink members reported to their studio for singing lessons the next day. That was also the first time Apink had the chance to listen to Eunji’s soulful voice. Everyone was amazed at how such a big voice is coming out from a petite body.

 As part of their monthly assessment, the members were asked to sing their song of choice. From the results, the respective instructors will decide what to improve on. The girls seem intimidated of these assessments at first, but eventually gotten used to it.

After all of them have been assessed, the instructor made an announcement, “Everyone did a fairly good job except for Chorong. Please continue to improve on your vocals by revising the methods we have taught you. Your debut date is getting nearer. Please do your best as the leader of the group. Everyone here looks up to you as a role model.”

Feeling dejected by the instructor rather harsh words, Chorong couldn’t help but to hang her head in shame.

“Get ready for your dance practice now,” says their dance instructor.

It must be because of the harsh remarks that made it impossible for Chorong to concentrate with her dance lesson.

[Chorong] This is so embarrassing. Everyone is improving except for me. I’m disappointed myself. I feel like giving up already.

With the constant mistakes made by Chorong, the dance instructor couldn’t help but to ask Apink to take a break. Lifeless, Chorong made her weakly to the corner of the room and plunge herself to the floor. Eunji, feeling concerned, followed her leader’s footsteps while the rest of the group went to search for water.

“I think what the instructor said was a bit too harsh. You weren’t that bad. You make mistakes here and there but that all could be solve with practice,” Eunji initiated the conversation.

“From now on, I’m going to do nothing but practice. You would help me right?” Chorong replied.

“I would be more than happy to help you. And in return, you can teach me to dance. You dance beautifully unnie.”

“What nonsense. Don’t you see? I make lots of mistakes today”

“But when the times you didn’t make a mistake, you were awesome unnie!” Eunji replied while shooting her signature eye-smile.

“Really?” Chorong smiled as she replied, feeling a little better in the inside.

“Of course,”

While the two of them have a conversation by themselves, they also unknowingly attract attention from Naeun and Bomi.

[Bomi] Why do Eunji looks so close to Chorong unnie? We all just met yesterday. Sigh I hope she still likes me.

[Naeun] Eunji unnie really talks a lot huh? She can start talking to me first, her own roommate!

~the following day~

This is the day where they call it their self-practice day. The studio is open for the members to work on anything before the next assessment is held. Chorong and Eunji already made plans to work on their vocals.

The rest of the members are at the practice room, to practice dancing.

Chorong and Eunji made their way straight to one of the recording room. The door slam shut as both of them enter the room. So did Bomi’s heart.

[Bomi] I hope that they won’t be having too much fun inside.

Bomi can’t help feeling jealous. She hated the fact that she gets jealous really easily, especially when it comes to Chorong.

The music that was blasting come to an end as the dancing team takes a break. Sound of people laughing can be heard as the room was left a little open. Everyone knew it was Eunji’s and Chorong’s. They are the only ones in the studio. Bomi felt a little strange as she clearly saw the door was shut when both of them entered the room. Little did Bomi know that this was part of a plan to make her jealous.

-Flash back-

“Eunji ya before we start our practice, I need to talk to you for a moment.”

“Sure unnie. What is it about?”

“I want to make Bomi jealous. You can help me right?”

“Sure, but why?”

“I want to see her reaction and she weather she cares about me or not. I have a feeling she likes me, so I want to confirm it through this plan.”

“Right, I see”

“This is a win-win situation for us. With this plan also, we can confirm yours too!”

“What about me?”

“Ya, don’t you sense it? Naeun likes you too. I’ve never seen her smile so brightly before”

“I just arrived yesterday unnie. I don’t think so that’s true.”

“It’s love at first sight, silly. Trust me I’ve never seen her happier than yesterday, when they mentioned that you’re going to be her roommate.”

“Oh is it? I’m really bad at this kind of things”

Chorong then proceed to tell Eunji her plan and hope that it would be successful.

-Flash back ends-

“Why did you make that face while singing the high note? You look horrible!” Eunji mentioned.

“I can’t help it!” Chorong said as she let out a laugh.

“It seems like Chorong unnie felt a little better than yesterday”, Hayoung said.

“Looks like it,” Bomi replied with a disappointed face.

“Why are the both of you looking so sad?” Namjoo who was curious ask.

“N..n-nothing”, Bomi and Eunji both replied at the same time.

“Naeun unnie, you have feelings for Eunji unnie right? I can look right through you!” Namjoo joked.

“Stop sprouting nonsense Namjoo. Let’s continue with our practice. We have only an hour left,” Naeun replied quickly to avoid more awkward question from her naughty donsaeng.

The Apink members made their way back to the dorm as they are done with the practice.
