Jae Mi's Point of View

Time: 8:16 AM

Sigh.  I finally made it to school.  The one thing that I hated so much.

"Jae Mi-ah!  Did you bring me food?"  

"Deh!"  I said, turning around to see my best friend.  My only friend, really.

Lee Ru Nae, or Runa, according to Kristi.  She has red hair, like me, but her's is dyed, while mine is natural.  She is beautiful and she knows it, using it to her advantage, aka ditching class, making other people do her homework, or almost always, getting food.  But. she only does that to 

She's doesn't date, because her parents are divorced and she believes that love only causes problems.  It's quite unfortunate for all the guys in the world.  She's gonna be single for probably the rest of her life.

"Hand it over!"  She said.

"Yah!  And where's the money you owe me?"  I asked.

She sighed. "Here, $5 is good enough, right?"  

"Yeah.  And here is your food."  I said, handing her the bag and a frappe.

"Yum!"  She said, an began eating the mini eclairs.

"Okay, so what are you planning on doing over the weekend?"  I asked her.

"Hmm....I've really got nothing planned."

"My mom's coming home and is launching a new line.  Wanna come and see with me?"

"Well, DUH!  Of course!"  She said.

"All right then, I'll call my mom."

"Does she know that you have a job?"

"No.  If she did, she'd shut down Cookie's Coffee Cafe."

"Does Cookie know that you're not supposed to have the job?"

"No.  She'd probably fire me."

"Oh."  She was quiet after that.

"So, what's the theme of this one?"

"Winter Wonderland."

"Really?  That sound sweet."

"Yeah, lot's of cool looking coats and what not."

"Sweet.  You gonna get some stuff?"

"Of course.  I'm pretty sure my mom would get mad at me if I didn't leave the place with some of her clothing."

"True.  I'll try to come, yeah?"

"Okay, I'll pick you up."

"Sweet!"  By then, she had already finished her eclairs.

She gave me a puppy dog look.  "No!  I still haven't eaten mine yet, and I'm starving!"

"Damn it."  She muttered.

Jae Mi's Point of View

Time: 3:26 PM

"Finally!  School is over!"  Ru Nae said.

"Agreed.  But I have tons of homework to complete."

"Yeah, so do I.  But I want someone to do it for me."

"Gang Ki?"  I asked.

"Yeah, I asked him to do it for me."

"Typical."

"Whatever!  I don't get how you can't make someone else do the work for you."

"Because!  I like to use my brain."

"Deh!  That's what you always say."

"'Cuz it's true!"

"Well, you're in for the surprise of your life!  You're beautiful."

"Yah!  That's what YOU always say!"

"That's because it's true!"

"Whatever.  But, homework is like pita bread."

"What the hell does that mean?"

"PITA.  Pain In The ."

"Oh...now I'm gonna wonder whether you're sane or not."

"Yah!  That's mean!"

"Oh, whatever!  I'm gonna be late to work."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah.  Just get going.  Call me to give me more details on the launching, okay?"

"Okay.  See you later?"

"Yeah, Bye!"

"Buh-Bye!"

I continued walking to Cookie's Coffee Cafe.

I walked in to see Cookie dancing around, all happy and what not.

What. The. .

"Who are you and what have you done to Cookie?"

"Geez!  It's me, Jae Mi-ah!  I'm just so HAPPYY~~~~!!"

"Why?"  I asked cautiously.

"'Cuz we're gonna get 6 new workers!"

"Oh.  That good, I guess."

"It is!  And your training them for a month!"

What. THE. !

"Huh?  Wae?!?!?!?!?"

"'Cuz, your more experienced than Kristi, and I'm gonna be stuck serving more customers and what not."

"You have got to be kidding me."

"Nope!  Isn't that great?!?"

All I did was walk past her and go to the locker room.  While walking in there, I muttered, "PITA bread, PITA bread, PITA BREAD!  Ugh!  This is gonna be a pain in the !"  

Little did I know, PITA didn't even describe what was going to happen in the next month to come.
