'3pm at the abandoned barn. Don't be late.' This was the message I just received on my cellphone.

'What did my father get me into...' I thought sighing. I went inside my car and started to drive towards Jongdae's and my house. Jongdae has been my husband for two years now. After his career with EXO he decided to have his own little music company with his ex-members being shareholders and having solo careers under said company. They were all still very successful. I, however, worked at a simple café. Even if my husband was rich, I didn't want to be one of those wives who just go shopping and wasting their hubby's money so I only used the money I earned for this kind of stuff.

Jongdae was in his home office doing some work when I got home so I walked towards him.

"How's work?" I sat down in the chair in front of his desk.

"Well, just the usual. What are you up to, Liz?" When he said my name, he looked up at me.

"I just came to get something. I gotta leave for a bit again."

"I see. Well, I was thinking of going out for dinner with you."

How was I supposed to tell him that I don't know whether I can make it in time or not when he looked at me with those beautiful eyes?

"I'll be back by then. I gotta go now." I stood up and was about to leave his office.

"Felicity."

"Yes?"

He walked up to me and kissed me carefully, as if I was about to break.

"I love you."

"I love you, too." I smiled and walked towards our bedroom.

I took the envelope from where I hid it in my closet and left the room. When I looked towards the work office Jongdae was working on his computer again. I watched him for a bit more before leaving for the barn.





When I arrived, I looked around the barn. The same barn as the last few times we had to meet up. It was a barn near a farming village outside of Seoul. Even though it was abandoned, it seems like people still come here. The outside was a little run down but the inside was neat. There were couches standing in the middle of the place, chairs and tables stacked up in a corner and other various things laying around. However, none of the furniture was broken or in a bad state. Then I saw him sitting on a couch with his back towards me.

"Sit down please."

I walked up to him and sat down on the couch across from the one he was sitting on.

"Where is the money?" He asked me so I placed the envelope on the table in front of him and he took a look at the content.

"What is this?! This is not even close to the amount I told you!!" He threw the envelope to the ground.

"I can't get more than that in this short amount of time."

"You have a rich husband!! Of course you can!!"

"I'm not gonna pull my husband into this."

"I knew you were gonna be like that.." He picked a baseball bat up from beside the couch. I tried to run away as soon as I saw it but since I was wearing heels he hit me on the head before I got far. I was laying on the ground losing conciousness when I saw a blurry person kneeling down in front of me.

"That's what you get for not following my orders."

Then everything went black.
