6 months later

Chaerin

"Well you really done a great job, sweetie!" My dad said to me after the meeting we had with the clients this morning, i closed a deal that can expand our business not only here in asia but in some country in Europe and America

"I'm just doing my job Dad and i want you to be proud of me.." i answered him, he smiled at me and tap my shoulder

"I'll always be proud of you, no matter what, okay?"

"Okay Dad.."

"So now that you closed this deal, how about i give you some vacation so you can rest and relax for a while, huh?" i look at him while i sit on my swivel chair

"I'm fine Dad besides i have a lot of things to do here and i don't want to go on vacation alone.."

"Then asked Dara, it's been 6 months since you two talked and saw each other.." i'm looking at my Dad and when he mentioned her name, still my heart beats faster

"You're kidding right? You know what happened to me and her.."

"Sweetie, a lot of time and days pass by, don't you think 6 months is a little too long?"

"Okay Dad, i know Mom is waiting for you, she'll kill you if you broke your promise that you'll be the one to cook dinner later.." i anwered him, i know he won't stop saying this because he always does this for quite some time now

"It's too early but fine, think about what i said, okay?" my Dad said

"Yeah, i will Dad, bye now.." I walk towards him and give him a hug then i open the door and he look at me again

"I want you to be happy and i only know a certain person who can make my little girl smile again.." he said, he went out of my office while i follow him with my eyes, i close the door and stare at the floor

I wonder how is she right now? I've been talking to Minji and Mi-na but i never asked about their sister

I went back to my table and open my laptop, i want to forget her, i'm doing fine and okay for the past 6 months

Are you really okay, Chaerin? Come on don't fool yourself!

'I'm not fooling myself sheez! I'm fine!' i whispered to myself

No you're not! Eventhough you are a busy girl, Dara is always running in your mind!

'No she's not!'

Yes she is!

"Okay! I need to stop! Talking to myself is not good, i feel like i'm a crazy person!" i blurted out, once again, i look at my laptop and browse thru some documents i needed but then again something weird is going on right now, i saw my picture with Dara suddenly pop out of my desktop

"I need some fresh air.." i said, i stood up, didn't bother to turn of my laptop and almost run outside. Once i set my foot out, i saw my annoying big brother, Seungri-Oppa

"Woah! Woah! Are you in a hurry?" he asked me

"No i'm not, i'm gonna go outside to have some fresh air.."

"You know there's plenty of cars running outside and you won't find that 'fresh air' of yours!"

"Shut up, Oppa!"

"Or you just want to go outside so you won't see her huh?" i look at my Oppa and saw him smiling like an idiot

"Huh? See who?" i asked him

"Oh come on Chaerin, i don't buy that crap!" he answered me, i punch him on his shoulder

"Do you think i'll asked you if i know what are you talking about?!" i said to him, almost screaming

"Ok, ok, Ms. Amazon Lady. Dad didn't tell you who he hired yesterday?" he asked me again, i shook my head towards him but i don't know why my heart starts to beat faster than usual

"Are you really sure you don't know, Chaerin?"

"Damn it Oppa! Just tell me alright!"

"Okay!" i stare at my Oppa and i saw him looking at me

"What?!"

"Dad hired someone close to you yesterday and by means of CLOSE, that someone is the one who stole your heart.." i didn't said a word, i let him finish whatever he's trying to say but my mind and heart already knows that SOMEONE

"And that S O M E O N E is a girl by the name of P A R K  S A N D A R A and her office is just across yours.." he said again and pointed out the office in front of us then i notice that some men is carrying a tables and chairs putting it inside

S-she's going to work here? But why?

The i felt a push on my back, it was Seungri-Oppa

"It seems that cat got your tongue and you haven't said a word to me.." he said to me, i walk pass by him and went straight to my office, i know he will follow me and there he is behind my back

"Why Dad didn't told me about this?" i asked him

"Beats me! Why don't you ask him when we got home.." he answered

"But you knew this right? and Jiyong-Oppa, why did you kept this to me?"

"Sister, let me explain you something, We just found out yesterday, me and Jiyong. We don't know that Dad will hire Dara, she quit her job on the supermarket that's why maybe Dad offered her a position here.." i look at my laptop and the picture is still there

"Aren't you happy, Chae?" Seungri-Oppa asked me, i look at him and furrow my eyebrows

"Why would i be?" i asked him back

"Because you will have a chance to get her back again, to continue what you two had left in the past.."

"Oppa, she and me are over and it's been 6 months since we broke up.."

"I know that! You don't need to tell me because i've seen you miserable for the past 6 months of your life since you two split up!"

"Yah! I'm not miserable!"

"Oh yeah?! So you want me to tell you what you look like? What you've been doing?" i didn't answered him because i know he's always looking at me in a weird way

"Don't fool yourself Chaerin, i know you still want her and you still have feelings for her.." he said again

"And here it is, Destiny gives you both a chance to get back into each other arms.." he added

"Oh Oppa please just go, i need to finish some report for tomorrow.." i told him but the truth is, i don't want to hear any words from him because everything he said is true

"Okay but will you join us later for lunch? Jiyong promise Dara that we will help her feel comfortable here at the office.." he said to me

"Uhm okay i'll try, i'll just call you later.." i answered without looking at him

"Okay.." i saw him turn around and open the door of my office and went out, i sigh

Dara will be working here and that means i'll be seeing her everyday

"Aaarrgghh!! I hate surprises!" i yelled and slam my laptop as memories of her flows into my mind

"So are you ready?" Bom-Unnie asked me, she and my two sisters will come to me at my new job, they said that Jiyong-Oppa dn Seungri-Oppa knows that they are coming

"Yes Unnie! I'm ready!" i answered her but she place both of her hands on her hips

"You sure? You know that Chaerin works at that office, right?" she asked me again

Chaerin..

"Uhm yeah Unnie, why?"

"Why? Are you really asking me why Dara?"

"Uh yeah? What's the matter with you?" i heard my two sisters laugh at me, they can sense that i'm nervous when Bom-Unnie mentioned her name

"I'm asking you if you are okay because Chaerin will be there the whole time.." i heard Bom-Unnie said

"Yes i'm fine and i came here to work and not for her.." i answered, i place my hand on the car door but Bom-Unnie stop me

"So you mean to say is that you already forgot about Chaerin and if ever you see her, you'll be 100% okay and won't act like stupid in front of her?"

"Absolutely! Besides it's been 6 months since i talked to her, i know she forgot me and i just did the same.."

"Did i sense some bitterness in your voice?"

"Unnie!"

"What if Chaerin-Unnie didn't forget you at all?" i heard Minji asked me

"Yeah Unnie! What if she still loves you and just waiting for you to talk to her again?" then my sister Mi-na

"You two keep quiet! I came here to work okay, to earn money for the three of us. You know i don't have time for relationships and love right now so please let's end this conversation right now.." i open the door and went outside, i look inside the car and saw Minji and Mi-na laughing while Bom-Unnie is saying something to them

"Oohhh i ahte it when this three is plotting somethins behind my back" i said, i knock on the window and the three of them look at me, i point my watch and motion for them to come out

"Sorry Unnie.." Minji said to me

"it's okay, now come on. I don't want to be late on my first day.." i told them

"Oh you won't be late! you are already here and you still have 30 minutes before you start your work.." Bom-Unnie said

"Wait! Jiyong-Oppa told me to call him once we are here.." Mi-na said, she fish out her phone and i saw her start to dial Jiyong-Oppa's number

"Let's go inside rather than stand here, your unnie is too excited to see her ex i mean new office.." Bom-Unnie said again, i just shook my head when i saw the three of them pass by

'Let it go Dara, let it go. This is your first day so don't ruin it..' i whispered to myself, i sigh and close my eyes for a while

"Yah Dara! I thought you don't want to be late so get your inside!" i heard Bom-Unnie yelled, people look at her and me, i just smiled at them

'Oh boy! What a way to start my day!'

We were inside when we saw Samantha-Unnie with Jiyong-Oppa and they both wave at us, they said that their Dad went home already but he will talk to me tomorrow morning. We were in the elevator when Jiyong-Oppa look at me

"It's nice to have you here in our office, i know you can help us in a lot of things around here.." he said to me

"Thank Oppa, i promise i'll do my best to help you here.." i answered

"By the way, does Chaerin knows that your dad hired Dara to be his personal secretary?" Bom-Unnie asked him, i don't want to look at Oppa or hear his answer but you guess is good as mine, my eyes and ears always betrays me

"Well i think she already knows, you know Seungri can't keep a secret or a surprise.." Jiyong-Oppa said, they laugh while i look down

"Hey Dara, just ignore Chaerin if you don't feel like talking to her right now, okay?" Samantha-Unnie said to me

"Yeah Unnie i will.." i answered but deep down inside i know i want to see her and talk to her but in the back of my mind all i ask is....

Can i do it?

 

 

 

 

As soon as Dara and the rest of the gang arrived at her new office, they saw Seungri with Sunhee already waiting there

"Dara! My ex sister-in-law but i wish you will reconcile with our stubborn baby sister again now that you are here!" Seungri told Dara and gave her a hug, Sunhee hit Seungri's arm then hug Dara too

"It's nice to see you again.." she said

"It's nice to see you again too Unnie, Oppa.." Dara answered

"So have you seen Chaerin? I think she's expecting to see you.." Seungri continue his annoying rants on Dara

"No Oppa, i haven't seen her and i'm not here for her, you know that.." Dara answered as she roam her eyes around her new office

"She keeps on saying that but i know once she saw Chaerin, she'll fall in love again.." Bom whispered to Seungri

"But Unnie, Dara-Unnie haven't fell out of love for Chaerin-Unnie.." Mi-na butted in, Minji laugh but place her hand on top of her lips before her Unnie can hear her

"Have you forgotten Chaerin already?" Samantha asked her

"Or have you fell out of love for her?" Jiyong added

"Because we can tell you that our sister didn't forget you, even a bit!" Sunhee butted in, Dara shook her head

"Am i the only one thinking here? Guys, we broke up 6 months ago, we haven't talk or seen each other after that. I know Chaerin, by this time she already have a gf.." Dara said without looking at them

"She's single.." Seungri answered, Dara look at him

"Whatever Oppa, ahm let's change the topic. What do i need to do now?" Dara asked them

"Well, we just want you to fix your office according to your taste, some guys will help you here.." Jiyong explained

"You won't help me?" Dara asked them again

"Sorry sissy, we need to do some things but we will have lunch later on okay.." Samantha said, Dara nodded her head

"Have fun decorating your office and in case you need some help, Chaerin's office is way over there.." Seungri said and they all laugh, Dara rolled her eyes on him

"Bye guys.." she said, she watched them leave her office and now that it's empty, she felt a pinch of sadness inside her, she walk towards the door and look straight at the office in front of hers

She is still single..

 

 

 

As for Chaerin, she keeps on reading Samantha's text to her 30 minutes ago

Dara's here downstairs, if you want to see her just go to her office later

'Why would i do that?' she asked herself, she threw her phone on the table but pick up the phone and check it if it's damaged

You need that phone stupid!

She look around her office then to the door, she sense like someone is looking at her door

'Could it be Dara?' she asked herself again

Why don't you check it yourself so you will know the answer!

'oh i hate it when i talk to myself!'

Chaerin stood up and walk towards the door, she stares at the knob then grab it

'What if i don't see her there?'

But what if you saw her? What will you do?

'I don't know'

Okay then stop talking to yourself and open the door damn it!

Chaerin turn the know and open the door, she look straight to Dara's office but she saw the door closes

'Man! I was too late!' she whispered, she waited for a minute or two, hoping the door will open again but it didn't

That's what you get when you act like a teenager who is afraid to see her crush

'Oh shut up!' Chaerin close the door but as soon as her door closes, Dara open hers but still didn't saw Chaerin on the other side

 

 

 

Days past but the two lovers haven't got a chance to see each other, whenever Dara is around, Chaerin is nowhere to be found, vice-versa. Their families and friends notice whats happening and they want the two of them to see and able to talk to each other but they don't know what they will do

 

 

 

 

3 weeks had passed but still no luck for Dara and Chaerin. Dara called Jiyong that she'll be late for work because they need to drop off their cousin Taeyang at the airport

"Thanks for coming Dara.." Taeyang said

"Unnie's lucky to have boss like Jiyong-Oppa and Seungri-Oppa, they are kind though sometimes Seungri-Oppa is annoying.." Minji said, Taeyang laugh while Dara smiled

"How about Chaerin?" Taeyang asked her, Dara look at her cousin then to the road

"Uhm she's good and kind too, you know that.." Dara answered

"She and Unnie haven't seen each other even they are working in the same building.." Mi-na explained

"Shut up Mi-na!" Dara said, Mi-na laugh and stick out her tongue at her Unnie

"I think that building is not that big so you two won't have a chance to see each other.." Taeyang said

"Maybe it's not yet the right time to see each other, don't you think?" Dara answered back

"I don't know Dara but eventhough you two already broke up, wouldn't be nice to see that you are in good terms with her after that?"

"Yeah but we still have a lot of time, oppa.."

"You do but what if it's too late?" Dara look at him then park the car at the side, Taeyang got out of the car and took his bags at the back

"Don't tire yourself too much and take care always.." Taeyang said to Dara who nodded and smiled at him

"And you two, take good care of yourselves too, study first before boys!" he said, the two laugh at him

"We will Oppa and have a safe flight!" Minji said, Taeyang look at Dara again

"Follow whatever your heart tells you Dara, i know they always said to followe your mind first before your heart but let me put it this way, only the heart can tell who you want and who you really love.." he said

"You two know what to do.." Taeyang said to Minji and Mi-na who salute at him

"What does he mean by that?" Dara asked her two sisters

"He said that we need to find girls or guys for you, so you won't be lonely most of the time.." Minji said, Mi-na laugh when Dara threw her a tissue paper and Minji hop in the passenger seat leaving Mi-na at the back

"I'll drop you two off at the apartment then i'll go to work.." Dara said, Mi-na look at her other sister Minji

"Hey Unnie, can i drive?" Minji asked her

"No you can't"

"But Unnie, i'll promise to take care of your car and not to drive too fast.." Minji pleaded

"No Minji.." Dara said

"Please, please, please Unnie. Let me drive and i won't ask you ever again.." Dara look at Mi-na who shrug her shoulder at her

"I don't want to hear Minji-Unnie pleading all the way to our apartment, sheez!" Mi-na said

"Yah! Shut up!" Minji scolded their little sister

"Okay, okay, but promise me that you will drive carefully.." Dara said to her, Minji smiled from ear to er while nodding her head

"I promise!" Minji said, Dara stop the car at the side and she and Minji exchange places

"Don't drive too fast.." Dara said again, Minji starts to drive while Mi-na is listening to music then all of a sudden Mi-na speaks up

"I'm thirsty!" she said

"There' a bottled water over there, drink it.." Dara said

"Can you drink it first for me Unnie?" Mi-na said, Dara look at her sister

"Why?" Dara asked her, Minji look at Mi-na in the rear view mirror

"Well one of my classmates told me that Mr. Sparks bottled water is not good for our health.." she said

"What? Why would your classmate said that?"

"Her mother bought one of the bottled water and gave it to her little brother and it got sick.."

"By drinking this water?"

"Yes so can you try mine first?"

"You want me to get sick?"

"No but okay Unnie i'll drink this one.."

"No, Minji find a convenience store and we will buy a new one.."

"But Unnie you'll be late for your work.."

"It's okay, your sister is thirsty and i need to buy her a water.."

"No Unnie, i can drink this one, i'm really thirsty and i can't wait until Minji-Unnie find a convenience store in this driving speed she's doing!" Mi-na told her

"Yah!" Minji yelled

"Minji enough.." Dara said then she look at Mi-na who opened the bottled water, her sister place the bottle on but Dara grab it and drink it, Minji look at Mi-na while the latter look at their Unnie

"Does it taste weird?" Mi-na asked Dara

"No, it taste good. Maybe your classmate is telling you a lie. We've been buying bottled water to Mr. Sparks and there's not a chance that we got sick.." Dara said

"Are you sure?" Mi-na asked again, Dara drink some of the water again

"Yeah, i won't let you drink this if it's taste weird.." Dara said

"Okay.." Mi-na answered, Dara hand over her the bottled water but Mi-na just look at it

"Unnie you already drank half of the water in the bottle so i want a new one!" Mi-na said, Minji laugh while Dara grab the bottled water on her side

"There!" Dara said and almost threw it towards Mi-na

"Thank you!" Mi-na said, she opened the bottled water and drink some of the water, she looks at her older sister who is still looking at her

"Refreshing!" Mi-na said

 

 

 

 

4 Hours Later..

Dara slowly open her eyes, she look around and found herself lying on a bed

'Where am i?' she whispered, she wait for her eyesight to be clear then realization hit her, she sit up on the bed and look around again

"Mi-na! Minji!" she said, calling her two sister but neither one of them answered, she tries to remember what happened but all she can recall is her little sister dirnking a water

Oh no please no..

She run towards the door but it is locked from the oustide

"Hello?! Is someone out there?!" she said while banging on the door

Who will kidnap me? I'm not rich! I just got a new job a new car! That doesn't make me a rich kid!

She bang on the door again, she look around the room trying to find something she can break the door, she didn't saw any windows inside the room, no chairs and tables as well

"Fudge!! Where the hell am i?!" she asked herself, she tries to calm herself, thinking straight

"Jiyeon! Jiyeon must be behind this!" she said, she run towards the door again and bang it

'Stupid Dara! You will get their attention if you keep on banging at that door!' she whispered to herself

"Oh yeah you are right!" she run towards the bed and look under but still she can't find anything to break the door

"If she hurt my sisters, ooohhh i wont forgive her! I'll make sure she'll borrow a face from a horse!" she said, she then again turn the knob fast trying to break it but she got no luck on doing that, she stood up again and look at the wall, she took a plate she found on the headboard of the bed and place it on the wall then lean on it hoping she'll hear something on the other side but still no luck at all

"Did they used plates? Oh i can't remember!" Dara said, she threw the plate on the bed, she stand in front of the door

"I will try to get their attention! I will keep on banging at this door until someone hear me and explain what's going on" she said, she positioned herself on the door, she bang as hard as she can

"Open the door Jiyeon!! I'm not doing anything to you! Open the door god damn it!!" Dara said as she keep on banging on the door then after a few minutes, she saw the knob move and turn, she readied herself to attack whoever is opening the door

"You'll pay for this! Don't mess with Dara who' been loveless for 6 months!" she said and when the door open she run fast and attack the person who opened it

"Kyaaaaa!!!" Dara said, she pulled the person and pushed it on the ground, she positioned herself on top of the person while trying to hit her with her hands

"Yah! Stop it!!" she heard a voice, a very familiar voice, she stop on hitting the person and her eyes widen on what she saw

"Chaerin?!" she said

"Dara?!" Chaerin said
