I hugged him tight and cried so hard. 'Thank God he came...' I thought. 'wait a minute...' I looked up at my saviour. " Ano... who are you?" I asked. The guy smirked "Took you long enough" He said pushing me away forcefully. " Look thanks to your crying im all wet!" He said wiping his uniform.

' I think I've seen him with Endo before..' I thought

" Yaotome "

I looked up " Eh?".

" Yaotome Hikaru desu". I untied the rope around my legs and got up. " Yaotome-san Arigatou" I  said bowing. " Daijobu just dont tell Endo or that Nakajima or Yamada" He said. I nodded and walked back to school. Thanks to the rope around my legs I now had blood around my ankles. I looked at the time and saw that it was almost time for school to end. I finally reached my classroom and was about to open the door when...

" Sakamoto-san?"

I turned to see Yamada staring at me in shock he came towards me, " Where were you we've been worried sick " He said. " Gomen I fell over some weeds and hurt myself " I said . He looked at my ankles and his eyes grew wide. " We've got to get you to the nurse's office" Yamada said taking my hand " Come on " he said. I felt my face become hot and I grinned slightly. " Chotto matte"

                We turned to see an alarmed Yuto staring at us " Yama-chan what are you doing?"

" Taking her to the nurse's office".

Yuto tsk tsked " Cant you see she cant walk?" He asked. He wrenched our hands apart as I stood there frowning I was suddenly lifted off my feet.

" KYAA!" I screamed. I looked to see Yuto carrying me bridal style. He grinned " Let's Go!!" he said pumping his fist in the air just as he did he lost his grip and I fell flat on my . " OW!!!".

"Yuto-kun!!" Yamada and me said at the same time. " Hehe.." Yuto said lifting me up again. " Lets go!!" he said running as fast as he could. As we ran I felt my whole body shake " Kowai..." I said holding Yuto even tighter.I saw him blush from the corner of my eye. When we finally reached the nurse's office Yuto slammed the door open making the nurse jump " SENSEI!! our friend is injured " Yuto yelled. " Yeah..." Yamada said panting beside him.

            The nurse examined the marks around my ankles and said " So you tripped on weeds huh?" she asked. I nodded " Hai ". " Hm...they really dont-"

" Sensei!!!"

We turned to see one of the teachers at the door " Class 2-C homeroom teacher just fainted!" he said. " Really? I'll be right there!" Sensei said getting up. She handed the bandage and antiseptic to Yuto and Yamada " You know what to do" She said and ran out of the office. Yuto and Yamada stared at each other and then back to me.

I sighed " Go ahead".

           " Yui-chan you should really be more careful you know that?" Yuto said as he put the bandage around my left ankle " Yeah Yeah I know.." I said. " We were really worried" Yamada said as he put the medicine on my right ankle. " Gomen.." I said. " ano.. Sakamoto-san" Yamada said when he finished applying the medicine.

" Hm..?"

" It wasnt Endo-kun right?"

          I froze and gulped " No! Of course not!" I said. " I see " ." There !! " Yuto said as he finished putting the bandage on my right ankle. " Arigatou ! Yuto-kun Yamada-kun" I said. " Iie Iie" Yamada said " Yuto-kun Ikuzo" He said going out of the nurse's office." Hai" Yuto said and turned back to me " I was really scared you know..." he said with a worried look on his face. " Eh?".

" Yui-chan dont run off like that again okay?" He said. I nodded " your acting like a dad...." I said. " Ha HA! Really?" Yuto said laughing. " Yui-chan..."

"Hm?"

" Smile for me will you?"

" Are you crazy?"

" No"

" I wont"

" Smile or else I'll kiss you"

" Ew.... Fine" I said smiling as wide as i could. Yuto tsk tsk'ed. " What?" I asked " I would have rather kissed you " He said.I slapped him on the arm " GET OUT!!" I said " Itai!!" He said going out of the nurse's office . " BAKA.." I said aloud grabbing both my cheeks to prevent myself from blushing.

' Stupid Yuto-kun'.

 After school....

                  " Yui-chan wake up!!" I heard someone yell.

I opened my eyes slightly and looked up to see Yuto staring down at me. " Nandayo? What do you want?" I asked sitting up. Yuto frowned " You fell asleep and I came to wake you up Schools over" He said. "Great thanks " I said getting off the bed. " I'll walk you home " Yuto said.

" It's fine" I said looking him in the eye. " No your hurt its better if I walk you home" he said.

" I said im fine"

" Lets decide by Jan ken poi ( Rock paper scissors)"

" Your on Bakajima"

" Ready..."

" JAN KEN POI!!"

           I looked down at our hands I chose paper and Yuto chose.....

" Ha Ha Scissor beats paper so I win" he said grinning.

" Fine lets go" I said frowning.

                When we reached the school gate I looked to see Yamada standing there waiting. " Yamada-kun?" I said. Yamada looked up to see us and waved.

As we went towards him he asked me " How's your leg?".

" Im Fine " I replied " Who are you waiting for?".

Yamada looked away blushing slightly. " I.....uh.. thought I'd walk you home" He said.

I was about to say something but Yuto came up from behind and grabbed my shoulder " Gomen Yama-chan Im taking her home" He said  playfully grinning. I turned to look at him in shock I then looked back at Yamada, he looked kind of hurt. " I see...its okay then..." he said turning to go.

" Ah...Yamada-kun.."

He turned around " gomen..." I said . He smiled and walked back .

I sighed " Whats wrong with you?" I asked Yuto.

" Eh? why?" he asked. I then saw his hand still on my shoulder and shook it off. " Its nothing " I said walking in the direction of my house.

Yuto ran up from behind me and asked " Do you like Yama-chan?' .

I turned red in the face and said " WHAT?!! Of course not!! ".

Yuto grinned "I think you do your all red in the face" he said punching my shoulder. " I dont " I replied blushing remembering Yamada-kuns face when he left.

" You two act like your related " I said trying to change the subject." Like brothers".

" Thats true but we're just friends truth is I've got a little brother 6 years younger than me" Yuto said.

" I see..." I said. I looked up at the familiar white building ahead " We're almost there" I said. " Ne Yui-chan is your mom home?" Yuto asked. "  That again?" I said.

" Im just asking" He said. " She's not home " I said looking at the building sadly. Yuto saw the expression on my face and asked " Daijobu?". " Hai " I said " Lets go". I walked ahead but Yuto grabbed my hand. " Is she alive? " He asked. I tried not to look into his eyes they seemed to look right through me. I looked at him slightly teary " Yes" I said.

" Thats good right?" he said. I nodded " B..But she's with someone else now..." I said. Yuto gasped. I bit my lip " My father died when I was four and from that time my mom brought that awful man home to play with me" I said remembering that awful memory. " He was rude and violent I almost lost a hand thanks to him" I said.

I was unable to control the tears and they soon came pouring down " Sorry for crying like this Y..Yuto-kun" I said. The next minute I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I felt shocked. " Its ok" Yuto said " I dont have a mom too" he said. I looked up at him " really?". He nodded " But you know I dont feel so alone anymore" He said. " You shouldnt too" He said patting my head. His arms felt very comforting.

" There's no need to cry anymore we're here for you" Yuto said holding me closer.

I smiled ' He's right....

.....Im not alone anymore'

" Yuto-kun"

"hm?"

"Domo arigatou" I said smiling up at him.
