Chapter 4: A Wolf's vision

Killjoy

As she walks into the place where it’s decorated with artificial lighting. She realized that the diner is as lonely as the road that lead her here except for a table occupied by a person in a cloak. Hmmm, how weird to find someone in a cloak? Then again, she thinks that wearing that cloak is a pretty smart idea especially travelling in the desert with unpredictable sand storms and crazy weather. The diner isn’t that bad, but it’s definitely look like it’s been forgotten and the only reason it’s here is because it’s a part of someone’s abandon memories. This place is very quiet, so quiet that you can hear the buzzing of the flies’ wing, if there is any to begin with. She found it to be very awkward to walk into such an empty place that she feels like trespassing unchartered territory. She no longer cares about the awkwardness of stepping into this dinner but paying attention to her starving stomach instead. She try to find the courage to step into the diner like a she normally would on any other diner. She hoped she faked it well enough. She sit herself on the third table on the left side from the door she entered. Few seconds later, the only waiter she sees served her by introducing their menu. It’s not like he’s screaming or being rude, but she can hear his voice echo through the whole place. Yes, that is how quiet this place is. She placed her order and could not ignore her own voice being echo throughout the whole place. That only make her more awkward than before. She isn’t surprise that anyone could overheard the conversation because whispers could turn into scream in this place. She replace her worries of being awkward with the hopes of her food arriving. She feels like its eternity waiting for her food. She look out the window on her left and gaze at the start that had accompany her throughout her run away. Grateful that there’s something that can distract her from her human thoughts. She heard footstep coming toward her direction and she hope it’s the waiter bringing her food. Still looking at the star and thanking them for everything, she heard the voice unfolding those words. She knows from then on that this isn’t going to be an ordinary night
