“Happiness is a sin”, Kyungsoo thinks.

By now Kyungsoo and Jongin had already started dating after their fateful meeting on the rooftop.

“Jong-ah, lets stop being happy”

“But that would mean we would have to stop being together” Jongin replys, half-asleep with his head on Kyungsoo lap.

“We are sinning”

“What, you mean ‘cause we are gay?”

“No, we are too happy. One day God will come to collect his payment for all of this happiness. One day, we will be thrown into the deepest depths of depression because we can’t pay our debts for all the happiness we have felt”

“Soo, baby, stop. There is no payment to feel happy. Happiness is no sin, it’s a gift, one in which we create ourselves” Jongin claims while sitting up to press a gentle kiss to Kyungsoo’s forehead.

Kyungsoo’s eyes flutter close as he feels the warmth of Jongin’s kiss. Lips pressed firmly into his skin, as if to imprint happiness itself into him, to replace his doubts.

And for now, although he is still skeptical and clings to his own belief of how the world works… for now Kyungsoo believes. Because happiness is Jongin, and no one as beautiful and kind as Jongin could be a sin.
