As Jihyun got in the car next to Youngjae she put her seatbelt on and tossed her duffel bag in the back seat.

“You okay?” He asked but he already knew the answer.

“I’m fine…” She shrugged and stared out the window as he drove down the street, Jinyoung watching her as she drove off.

Through the whole drive it was silent, Youngjae stopped at the supermarket and little cute shops to buy her gifts and food. She sat in the car with the bags and ate her Hershey bars silent until a smile couldn’t help but be crept up on her face.

“I spy a smile.” Youngjae smiled. “Chocolate is the best medicine for any girl.”

Jihyun smiled again and shook her head before high fiving her uncle.

“You are learning, Young Grasshopper.”

“Oh don’t you start with me.” Youngjae laughed as they drove to their arcade.

The arcade was a floor underneath their apartment. The apartment was a 4 story building connecting to the arcade below. Youngjae parked the car in the garage and helped her out with the bags of gifts he bought her and candy and brought them up to the second floor apartment.

“Nara! Open up my hands is tied, literally.” Youngjae spoke from outside his apartment door and laughed when Nara made a cat sound behind the apartment door.

“Cool it; niece is here for her birthday.”

“Wait what? Why?”

“Thanks for making me feel welcomed, Auntie.” Jihyun raised a brow. Nara walked over and smothered the younger with hugs and kisses.

“My baby! I’m sorry you are always welcomed here; I just… I mean why spend your birthday here?” The red headed woman asked.
