let's become cool ~

Jimin wandered to the middle of the lobby looking like a lost puppy. The young receptionist perked up at his entry and greeted him. He smiled and bowed his head. Her eyes moved to Meagan, who went to stand next to Jimin, and her lips turned down slightly. Meagan scowled internally. Why were girls so weird like that? At least Kelsie wasn’t. Better question, why were they just standing like idiots in the middle of the lobby? Meagan touched Jimin’s elbow gently and looked over to the sitting area to the left of them. “Oh!” He took a long stride and pounced; sprawling out across the nearest sofa causing Meagan chuckled. She followed him and went to sit on an adjacent chair that sparked a loud protesting whine from Jimin. “Okay, okay, you big baby.” He righted himself on the sofa though he sat with his back to the rest so he could watch out the window. She sat across from him in a similar position.

“Ah Meagan, your hair is so long!” He reached out and took a section, running its length through his fingers. Thank god she had washed and straightened it this morning, which made it about a billion times silkier than it’s natural loose wave. “And so blonde~ I’ve never met a natural blonde! The purple and blue is very cute too.” At first this shocked Meagan, but it really did make sense. She was sure Western foreigners didn’t frequent their events and even then brown hair was severely dominant among the Western world. “I like it a lot,” he cooed while twirling it around his finger gently. She felt heat settling on his cheekbones and climbing up to her ears, a feeling she had become far too familiar with other the past handful of days. “Thank you, I’ve never really gotten that from people other than my mother and Kelsie.” Which was true. Though not as common as dark counterpart, blonde hair wasn’t exactly an uncommon over in Canada. Jimin’s face lit up with her words. Jesus Christ was he ever cute.

They were silent for a moment, Jimin’s hand absent-mindedly twirling her hair, his eyes still glued on the street. When he jumped from his spot Meagan almost came out of her skin along with him. “NOONA THE PIZZAS, THE PIZZAS!” He took off to the door, his bare feet making a loud slapping noise against the stone tile. Meagan followed along behind him and caught the open door with her hip. Jimin was just about to explode, looking happier than human possibly for something as mundane as pizza. He took all eight boxes in his arms and bowed as best as he could manage to the delivery man. Meagan took four off the pile to even out the labour. “Ahh, it’s like a waterfall in my mouth, it smells so good. C’mon, hurry hurry!”

He moved quickly to the elevator and smacked his wrist to the sensor obtusely, to which the elevator doors slid open. Jimin went to press the 11 button but the stacked cardboard boxes hit the panel as well, selecting 2 extra floors beforehand. He let out a raucous cry, he sounded in pain even. Meagan couldn’t help but laugh. “Jiminnie you’ll be fine, it’s only two extra floors! That’s like, 5 extra seconds.” He turned to her with a brooding look. “Yes. 5 extra seconds I’ll have to endure without this delicious smelling pizza in my mouth hole. I don’t… I don’t know if I can take it.” He rested his head down on the pizza box and sniffled playfully.

The elevator arrived at floor 6, the first accidental selection. Jimin groaned. After an idle second of no one entering or exiting the doors slid close and they began to ascend again, only to halt one floor above. The doors slid open again and Jimin let out another cry. “Omo, Jiminnie you’re so dramatic!” The doors closed again. When they finally made their last separation, Jimin leaped out and bashed the door in with his foot. Meg was surprised the crazy kid didn’t take it right off the hinges. He moved into the apartment with purpose, chanting a chorus of ‘pizza, pizza!’ Meg followed him in with a stupid grin on her face. Kelsie was sat next to Taehyung and Jeongguk who were amused with the metal horseshoe that hung from the middle of Kelsie’s nose. “Jimiiiin,” Jeongguk called out, “did you see Kelsie’s piercing?! Wow a piercing and pink hair, so rebellious!” Meagan, in her already giddy state, couldn’t help but laugh. Kelsie, rebellious? Yeah right.

Meg made her way into the kitchen behind Jimin where she found Hoseok sitting on the counter, and Yoongi, who moved to Meagan immediately. “Does Kelsie have a boyfriend?” She shook her head no. Then he just left. Weirdo. Meg set the pizzas on the counter next to where Jimin had placed his. He had already begun to stuff a slice into his mouth. He didn’t seem to intent on calling the other boys. “Guys, pizza is here!” The rest of the gang joined them in the kitchen. Jeongguk grabbed his own whole pizza, while Yoongi, Taehyung and Kelsie agreed on splitting one between them in the living room. Namjoon moved over to Hoseok where he hoisted himself up to sit next to him. Jin was pulling plates from the cupboard though no one had apparent intention of utilizing them. He just tossed them next to the boxes. Everyone dispersed to the living room, living Meagan and Jimin by themselves.

Grabbing the box from which he took his first slice, Jimin moved to sit at the small table gathered in the corner of the kitchen. Meg followed suit and sat across from him. She took a slice and nibbled at the end. It tasted pretty authentic, not like the weird selection of ‘Korean’ pizza. She munched happily on the slice while Jimin chowed down. He placed a hand on his bloated belly as he swallowed the last mouthful of his 4 slices. “We’re going to have to work out so much to compensate for this pizza… Omo…” Meg cackled. “I can eat as much as I want and I don’t have to do aaaanything.” She popped the last bite of her crust into and munched on it happily. Jimin’s lips twitched into a smirk. “Oh?” Meg smiled proudly, reaching for another slice of pizza. “Mhmm, I don’t have any siiiilly idol responsibilities.” Jimin rose from his seat and began to move around the table slowly. “Calling my responsibilities silly now, eh?” She nodded her head, hair dancing around his shoulders playfully.

His hand landed on the back of the chair and he tipped her back, his one hand keeping her from crashing to the ground. He pressed his lips to hers again, silencing anymore teasing that would come out. The pizza slipped from Meg’s hand and fell to the floor. Her head was spinning already and it had only been a second or two. The sound of footsteps startled them both and Jimin pulled back a half second too late. Namjoon stumbled back a bit, glancing behind his shoulder awkwardly. “I- I’m sorry, I’m… I’ll be going now.”
