So, let’s begin with the first thing you see when you look at this story. The title. I read the title and was basically said, “Well, it’s rated M and I know what friends with benefits are...So this is ?”. Be careful with that. I’m not saying change the title, I like it. It suits the story perfectly. Just next time, remember that some people, though they read rated M things, not all of them read .
The next thing that the reader would see is the Description (I like going in order if you haven’t noticed yet). Personally, I liked it a lot. A couple of the gifs were a little disturbing but I’d prefer to focus on the writing. I thought that the first paragraph was a little amusing, like an advertisement, I liked it. I also liked how right after the rules you put in as if Chaerin was speaking the entire time. It’s a really good way of catching and holding a reader’s attention.
The chapters are all very well written and narrated as if it’s a real life story. This, in my opinion, is so much better than the fanfiction that one typically sees. There is a great deal of showing, not telling. The words flow, and seem to fit together as if they were woven together with threads of pure literary silk.
As delicately as the piece was written, I must confess that I find the time-skips a bit distracting. This may be an example of me being needlessly picky, although for people who do not wish to put up with them, as well as announced onomotopoeia, rather than fit in, this may deem problematic.
Naturally, there are mildly suggestive gifs, although nothing too explicit. The nature of the story is not exactly an innocent one, although it is not the hardcore a one would expect.
A romance grows and develops, but one thing that deserves praise is, there is bonding between friends as well, and that is not something commonly seen nowadays.
