For three months, Seomin was immediately scheduled for various guest appearances on television, radio, and was even asked by various artists to open for their concerts. She was overjoyed to see people liked her and her music, but at the same time, Seomin wished for more personal time, mainly because once she had time off, Donghae did too, and they spent it together. Aside from this, Seomin was also recording songs for OSTs for various dramas, most recently a lullaby for a child’s theme song. It was a soothing song, and Seomin often found herself singing that song when she felt stressed or out of place. Donghae and Seomin also attended Melanie’s farewell party, forced to hand over the planning to an event coordinator from Seoulized Music after being swamped with too many schedules. It was hard to say goodbye, but it had to be done. They drove in the same van with Melanie, but were unable to send her off in the airport, in fear that people would see Seomin. Before they said their final goodbye, Seomin and Donghae gave Melanie a new pair of sneakers, Melanie’s favourite type of shoes.

With all these events, May crept up onto the couple. “Seomin we have to go! Come on!” Donghae yelled, frantically shoving food, sunglasses, and all sorts of things into Seomin’s bag as well as his own. Seomin on the other hand, was hopping out of their bedroom, pulling on a pair of socks. “Thank goodness today we’re doing a photo shoot so you don’t have to look great.”

She stuck her tongue out at him. “Do I look ugly? Huh, huh!?”

“No! I didn’t mean that! Oh geez let’s just go. We’re going to be late!” They rushed out and when they got into the van, the driver gunned down the road as Seomin and Donghae ate breakfast in the back. “What I was trying to say before,” Donghae started between bites of food, “was that today is not a day where you have to be ready before you get to the studio.”

“Got it. Are we really going to be late?”

“I think we’ll make it. What took you so long to get up?”

“Well,” Seomin said and glared at Donghae, “if someone didn’t keep snuggling me all night, I might have gotten a good night rest.”

He pouted. “You don’t like sleeping with me?”

“It’s not that. It’s just you kept tickling me. Were you dreaming because your fingers were twitching and it was driving me crazy. I can’t believe you didn’t wake up to my laughter.” Before Donghae could answer, the van came to an abrupt stop. They climbed out and rushed in, relieved to see that the other models had only just arrived as well. The coordinator escorted Seomin to get changed and get her hair and makeup done while Donghae went to the photographer and magazine director to get an idea of the time schedule. Today, they gave her a clean makeup look, almost as if she wasn’t wearing any at all. The stylist then heated the curling iron, changing Seomin’s waves into soft, loose curls. She was dressed in a mint blue off the shoulder shirt with black skinny jeans and black heels. The clothing line she was representing was stylish yet simple, something Seomin would have no problem wearing out.

Seomin was nail bitingly nervous for the photo shoot. . Professional models, who had already had experience modeling for this company, had arrived for the spread. There were only two things that comforted Seomin at this moment. One, the spread was geared towards university students. She could relax and not feel the need to look like a total superstar. Secondly, Donghae would be with her as always. She took a deep breath and walked out of her dressing room, making her way to the set. Along the way, she was able to peek at the models, who were dressed as simply as she was, waiting for their turns to be finished getting ready. When she arrived, she greeted the photographer and director politely. While she waited for the models, Seomin stood close to Donghae. “I’m going to look like such an amateur,” she murmured.
