when I was a child, I love to eat and I love chocolate very much…

 

           Due to that, I’m getting bigger than any normal kid around my age.

 

           I got teased and bullied a lot by the kids at the elementary school especially boys.

 

          I still remember the bitterness from that time…

 

          (flashback) … when I was walking along the corridor, I could hear some kid threw harsh word by calling me

ugly pig, fatso,  female giant and even hippo. I could only hold my tears and started running towards the restroom

when I couldn’t hold my tears anymore.  While I’m running to the restroom I heard they laughed and one of the boys

at the corridor said...

 

 “ hey look, the hippo’s running to the restroom , throw the water that you had in your hand to the hippo if you like the

way the hippo’s running”  the boy shouted . at that time, I couldn’t care less about how many people throw the water,

what I’m concerned was about my heart that was shattering to pieces.

 

The boy who shouted was the son of my neighbour. We grew up together and our parents is friendly to each other

even now. Even though  we grew up together, he always teasing me and bully me by making me do lots of things.

Only in front of our parents, he treated me kindly. The first time when I met him, he treat me kindly (only because

our parents were there) and I sort of fell in love with him..(of  course I didn’t know that time that he was pretending to

be nice).  In school, he and his gang group together to teased, make fun of me and even bullying me. They put the

gum (shoe gum) at my chair before I entered the class. When I opened the sliding door of our classroom there was

a bucket of ingredient mixed together ( flour + egg  + other) fell on top of my hair, some of it were on my school

uniform, not only that, when I sat on the chair I felt weird and stand up and felt there’s something on my . I turned

around and saw the chair and my skirt gummed together. The whole class laughed because of that and I want to

hide and cry badly at that time.

 

From that time, I started to dislike men and afraid of them  except my father and butler Song of course because

they  is not like any other men. To me, men will treat you nicely if you are pretty but if you’re not then, they will treat

the girl badly. Men is not deserved to be love, they will instil fear in woman if they’re not pleased with you. After that

incident, I don’t want to go to school and begged my mom to let me study at home and promised her that I will go to

school once I enter the university.  I’m glad that mom agreed to my selfish request.  I continued to study at home

with home tutor until I’m in high school because I had enough of “studying at home” so I asked my parents to let me

continue and finish my high school at the overseas because I know that my parents can afford to send me to the

overseas and I want to experience my high school life  there because I know , I won’t have to remember that bitter

feeling when I go to school in London because the atmosphere there is different than in Seoul.

 

Another reason was because I’m still Hyun the Fatso, Hippo, female giant. I wished that when I entered the high

school in London, I will live as new Seohyun ( gain back my confidence, to get slim and succeed in my study to

further my study in university) . My parents were worried about me going there but I firmly said that I will be okay

because I want to be  independent and start my new life as a reborn Seohyun in London. I also said to them that I

have decided that I will go to the boarding school in London and will not be back at Korea for 3 years to focus on

my study and to build New Seohyun.

 

I also promised my mom that I will not be influenced by negative things and I will remained as faithful daughter to 

them, respect elders and be a kind hearted person they wanted me to be.  They had no choice but to agree with me

since they wanted their daughter to achieve what she wanted  and I’m grateful for their understanding.  

Departure day….

 

“ Hyunnie hurry or you will miss the flight!! ” Mrs Seo shouted

 

“ I will be there in a sec! I have to lift  the bag” Seohyun answered.

 

“ oh Hyunnie, let butler  Song do it… The bag are heavy and a lady like yourself shouldn't lift it” Mrs Seo said.

 

“ Alright… Song Ahjussi, sorry for  troubling you with these” Seohyun said.

 

“ no, it’s alright young miss .. it is my job to do that” Butler Song said and smile

 

“ Hyunnie make sure you have all the things you need to bring there. You don’t want to miss anything important

since you will not be back for three years do you? And I will miss you for sure Hyunnie”  Mrs Seo said and sob .

 

“ I think I have all the things I need here *show the bag* and omma~ don’t be like that… if I can’t come back, why

don’t you and appa go and visit me there… furthermore, we also can have family vacation there, unless you want to

go there for your nth honeymoon with appa…well, if you do that, I do not mind since maybe if there’s luck I will get

new sibling *wink to her mother*.  Oh, if appa is busy and can’t come to London, there is other alternative *show her

phone and her bag contained of laptop* . You can skype me through phone or laptop right? *wink and smile*

 

“ Hyunnie!! You’re so…” Mrs Seo blushed and was about to continue her sentence

 

“ Hyunnie, we have to go to the airport now” Mr Seo shouted.

 

“ Okay appa, we’re coming!!... let’s go omma” Seohyun said and walked hand in hand with her mother.

 

At the airport ….

 

“ I think it is time for me to board the plane” Seohyun said.

 

“ yeah, I think you  should” Mr Seo said

 

“ I don’t want to part with you yet Hyunnie” Mrs Seo said with teary eye

 

“ Honey don’t be like that, we as Hyunnie’s  parent should send her with proud heart because she is

going to be independent and change for the better” Mr Seo said.

 

“ Omma~ remember what I told you when we at home? Don’t worry omma, your daughter is a

strong girl…if I feel like crying or sad I will call you okay?” Seohyun said

 

“oh then, if you’re happy you will not call your parents who worry and miss you?” Mrs Seo asked and pouted.

 

“ Aigoo *Seohyun walked to her mother and hug her* of course if I am happy you will be the first person I will call..

don’t say that only you and appa who are going to miss me…I too am going to miss both of my parents” . Seohyun

said with teary eye.

 

“ Honey, stop acting like a child… Hyunnie is mature than you’re” Mr Seo said in teasing tone.

 

“ who cares, I’m her mother…not only children can act spoiled with their parents, mother also can” Mrs Seo said

and pouted again.

 

“ Hyunnie look at your dear mother, she act as if she is the same as you,  a high school student” Mr Seo said and

shake his head.

 

“ Well, if she isn’t what she is like now…you wouldn’t marry her right? After all, it is her personality that you got

attracted right *winking at her father*”  Seohyun said in teasing tone.

 

“  you got me Hyunnie *chuckle* ” Mr Seo said as he gave up arguing with her.

 

“ oops...time to go” Seohyun looked at her watch . Then, she hug both of her parents and went to board the plane.

 

“ Yeobo, will Hyunnie be alright on her own without us being there for her when she is sad or feeling down?” Mrs

Seo asked her husband.

 

“ I don’t know about that, let’s just hope that she is strong just like she said and trust her. Furthermore, I already sent

someone who I can trust to keep an eye on her for me there. Mr Seo said.

 

“ You did that? What are you going to say if Hyunnie find out about this? She must be upset with us for not trusting

her and who is it? I mean the one you sent to keep an eye on our aegi (baby)?”

 

“ don’t you worry honey, she won’t find out about it unless the person himself tell her…it is not about not trusting her,

it is about her safety because she will not be around us for 3 years. Well, I can’t reveal him to you just yet, don’t

worry…he is someone you know” Mr Seo Said.

 

 

In the air plane…

 

Seohyun went to search for her seat. Then, she saw there was a man sat at the seat next to her and she asked the

stewardess if she can change the seat and the seat she wanted to sit is next to a woman. The stewardess told her to

wait  so that she can asked another passenger who want to switch seat. Fortunately, there was a lady who wanted to

switch the seat with her.

 

Seohyun went to the seat and she greeted the woman next to her. After that, she pulled out book from her handbag

…A book about England and it’s history so that she can study about it’s culture and etc.  

 

arriving at the London Heathrow Airport…

 

Seohyun went to get her bags and decided to get a taxi to go to her new boarding school. Went she went out she

saw an empty taxi and got in then, she told the taxi driver the address.

 

After she arrive in front of the school, she went inside and go to the principal office to notice him about her arrival

and to check in for her dorm. Later, she went to the dorm and when she was about to enter the room, the door

opened revealed a blonde female. She greeted the blonde female and introduced herself.

 

“ Hello, my name is Seo Joo Hyun…you can address me as Seohyun” Seohyun said and smile.

 

“ oh, Hello…my name is Jessica, I’m half Korean , half English and welcome to London” Jessica said

 

They started to chat with each other and Jessica show her around since she said that she’s not tired

Fast forward….

 

It’s been 3 years since Seohyun left Korea and now she graduated from high school with excellent result . Seohyun

is not the Hyun in the past, now she’s known as a cool beauty with brain, ice princess when it comes to men. The

only time when she is not cold with men is when she had to communicate with them for her assignment and when

she was forced by Jessica . Aside from that,She is still a faithful daughter and kind hearted.

 

“ Hyunnie, do you have to go back to Korea?” Jessica asked

 

“ I have to go back Sica eonnie , my parents are waiting for me to come back after 3 years and I

promised them I would” Seohyun said.

 

“  when will you come back here?” Jessica asked.

 

“ I don’t know when , but I intend to further my study here…besides if I do that, I can study with Sica eonnie *hug

Jessica*”  Seohyun said 

 

“ Aww  uri Hyunnie is so cute *pinch Seohyun chubby cheek*”

 

“ that hurt Sica eonnie “ Seohyun said

 

“ wae? Just let me pinch your cheek since it’s going to be long until we meet again” Jessica playfully said.
